Great company! I called on a Friday and the garden soil was delivered the next day. Delivery guy was helpful and friendly. We found the price entirely reasonable, even with the delivery fee. Id definitely order from the Mulch Yard again.

Great to work with. The price was middle of the road, but the product (blended top soil and pine bark mini nuggets) were great quality. No trash present, no rocks seen. People were super helpful and accommodated a hard request for positioning. They even asked to deliver it EARLY one day.

Called them to see if they delivered fill dirt - used them based on good reviews. Made an appointment... waited around all day, but they never showed up, never called. I called them, and then they told me it was too wet to deliver that day... they would come out the next week.When the guy arrived, he would not deliver to my back yard because he said the power lines were too low... then, he dumped a pile of red clay in my front yard. Not what I wanted at all.While transferring the clay to my back yard myself, I found all kinds of concrete, bricks, wood, etc. in the load that I had paid $350 for. See pictures for reference.After I got it all moved and tilled, I called a different place in Summerfield. They delivered on the day they said they would, delivered good quality top soil, delivered to my back yard, and all at HALF the price.Will not be using The Mulch Yard again.

Agree with other reviews--I called the Mulch Yard and told them what I was looking for and the dimensions of the space where I am planning a garden. I called on Saturday, they delivered on Wednesday. The delivery driver was polite, wearing a mask (a plus for me), and dropped off the soil/compost mixture as I requested. I will definitely use again and recommend to others.

Called looking for some gravel. Good price and they delivered the same day, and on Good Friday to boot. The folks I talked to were nice and so were the guys that delivered it. When you find a local business that does good work at a fair price, you tell people and use them again.

I phoned The Mulch Yard early Saturday morning, called back within minutes, delivered 10 yards of dirt, within 3 hours. Great service, great product, great people....in todays world, cant ask better!

Great experience working with The Mulch Yard! I stopped by to decide which of the mulches would work best with what we had already put down (via bags) and everyone was very helpful. Prices were great and delivery was super fast - only a few hours later! I got the cedar mulch; it looks fantastic and smells even better. Will definitely do business with them again!

The pine straw here is stellar and so are the associates. The pine straw is a dollar or two more than the big box store but it sure does look a lot better and spreads a LOT further. I normally bring my truck and trailer and fill it up with either natural compost or pine straw. Loading is quick and easy either way. I think they have delivery services available. When you stop by the store, be sure to pet the beautiful puppy dog on the way in. She sure is friendly.

We needed rock and fill dirt to complete a major project at our home. After researching competitors in the area, we decided to purchase from The Mulch Yard in Greensboro. Jeremy and his staff were very courteous and helpful throughout the process. They have a product that is 1/2 filtered fill dirt, and 1/2 compost. No sticks, rocks, or debris, and spread like butter. We look forward to working with The Mulch Yard for our next project because of the overall value they deliver.

Good people, good prices and very responsive. Needed fill dirt to cover a concrete drain before the next rain. Not only were they super fast but the guy even helped spread it, so all I had to do was hit it with a box blade!

We ordered pine straw, mulch and dirt. They are super professional, easy to deal with and delivered everything on the same day. The pine straw was packed tight and was not full of trash. The cedar mulch was high quality and smelled great. Will definitely use again.

Guess if I had called 7 years ago I could have gotten a better deal, now you have to get the hard wood mulch and order a truck load 15 yards which wasnt described on the website. Why would I need 15 yards if Im residential and why cant I choose the type of mulch I want if I do order that much, thats quite a bit of money to be spending to not even be given the option to choose type of mulch.

I ordered 4 yards of their garden soil that is advertised as 50/50 blend of high quality, rich topsoil, and the McGill SoilBuilder Compost for some new raised beds we have set up. The amount they sent was perfect, the delivery was seamless...BUT my dirt appears to have NO compost in it so we have had to buy additional compost and the dirt is full of lots of rocks and a ridiculous amount of broken glass. I emailed the Mulch Yard for them to contact me and have never heard a word back from them. very disappointed.

I am founder of Break the Chain Kennel Kru, a non-profit in Guilford County that builds kennels to unchain dogs. We just built our 20th kennel in 9 months! I left a bad review because the mulch was so late. They said they called and left a message and I told them I never received one. I received the message this morning at 1030, guess it floated around in cyber space for a few days. I was wrong and I am changing my review.

Prices are higher than Greensboro Mulch Supply across the board, selection is smaller, and the delivery they promised was slower.
