My first visit to this homesite. I spoke with Jr. very good customer service person. Even though they were about to close, he took time to explain the application process. The sales staff is great and were helpful I would recommend them anytime for a manufactured or modular home. I loved the homes they were very nice.

Maybe it’s not The Clayton group but apparently the subcontractors they use here cant seem to get things done in a timely manner. If you want a smooth process to having your home placed and ready before the 30 days is up on the bank Loan you better be ready to push that time line to the last min/second. You might want to set up your own permits .....footers, concrete.... porches.... hire your own well drillers... hell basically schedule everything on your own and not pay them a dime extra but only for the house itself. If you need some house setting done Iv got some good time efficient contacts

My mom and I had a wonderful experience with Joey. Within the first 5mins of our meeting we told him that we werent making a purchase and he STILL answered all of our questions and walked us through the first house. We had more questions towards the end of our tour and he answered those too. He even gave us the address of a Clayton Homes that is located around where we were looking. The service was so exceptional that we were debating if we wanted to go with a different Clayton Homes and then we found the houses we both wanted (Were buying 2 separate ones) and weve decided we might need to change where we were looking to move to closer to this Clayton Homes just so that we can go through them. Seriously a great place to visit and possibly do business with.

Worst experience ever had . They lied about prices . Take your money they never return phone calls the add 55 thousand dollars to your set up cost 124 thousand dollar double wide cost 180 thousand after inflated prices never go there again. I walked away

Went to the Clayton in Asheboro and Greensboro and both places made us feel like we were an unwelcome inconvenience. Considering we are more than ready to pay cash for a new home and we have clear title to the land to put it on, we wont be calling them again. We didnt deserve to be treated that way.

Stopped by to ask a couple questions and Mike Stanley was very professional and insightful. In this time in history it is rare to have anyone whom you can trust with home mortgage questions. Matters that can effect your families future for generations to come. I would highly recommend this Oakwood Homes to anyone seeking honest answers.

Had received a phone call from a rep. He made my appointment, He scheduled it for Saturday 4-24-2021 @1pm and got there early no one was there and no one answered any phone calls. Waited for someone to show up, no one ever did.

My fiancé and I went in back in May to view the homes on the lot as well as get details on the process of building with formerly Oakwood homes. We toured the homes at our own pace and found one we loved. Liz gave us plenty of information to think about as we were not ready to begin the process. A few months later, we went back and met with Liz again. I want to add that Liz and everyone at Clayton of Greensboro was nothing but a help to us. They are such a professional and informative team! We began the preapproval process and put down our earnest money. After long discussion and consideration we decided to pull out, this decision was only due to the lengthened process caused by COVID-19. Even when my fiancé talked to the man from cooperate, he had a pleasant experience. While we did not build with them this time, we are looking forward to working with Clayton of Greensboro again in the future!

Good costumer service

The staff is extremely nice. The price of the mobile homes is crazy. A trailer that is listed for 61k turns into 100k delivered and installed on my own land. Just seems crazy expensive.

We had a house fire in 2017 we went to a lot of home lots looking for a new modular home. We found the house we liked at the Greensboro nc home dealership lot. All though we loved our sales person Kevin the boss was not so pleasant we were told if we put 500 dollars down to hold the house we could get that house on the lot so we did, I mean we were desperate by this time to get out of a motel. When we went to look at the house again to do the paperwork they said the house had already been sold before we put money down and that they had ordered us one so we could order it how we wanted it. So we made some changes on the inside and outside of the house. Well 5.5 months later the house was being put in and of course nothing was right about the house that we ordered so we told them and they had to make the changes after the house was set up. They contracted the job out to the cheapest company they could find. You could tell they were on Drugs and they didnt do a good job. We moved in and 1 month after living here we found out they dont paint the walls just prime them in which we were never told that before. There was so many things they had to come out and fix in the first year but everything did not get fixed and this house is the worst I have ever bought. You can see the lines in the ceiling where the drywall was put together and in the walls. The outlets in the bathroom was not hooked to anything they both have been pulled out of the wall the only thing was holding them in was the drywall. We have bought 3 other homes like this one and this one is the worst. The boss did nothing but lie to us. I would not recommend this place to anyone ever.

I am just starting to look at homes and I stopped by Oakwood with my daughter and son. I was immediately welcomed by Kevin Baker. He instantly made me feel at ease. He made me feel as if no question was stupid and was very patient. He was also not pushy which is good because I really don’t respond well with that. My husband will be going back this week to apply.

Gorgeous homed

Very friendly, informative and patient. They were also patient and understanding when we said we needed to think about things. Gave us all the necessary info. without being too pushy or salesy. Would definitely consider them if we bought a mudular home. Had a nice variety of 8 homes to look at on Jan. 2020. All in excellent condition. FYI No ramps into most of the homes, so not wheel chair or Walker friendly.

My experience with Oakwood Homes was amazing I was treated like family the staff there was phenomenal. We have visited Numerous places thanks to Will I believe he has steered us to our new home and new adventure.

Michael was very friendly at Oakwood homes! I would highly suggest chatting with him if you dont like being pressured and want to be a free roam with him answering any questions you have! Very honest and upfront.

Excellent staff. No shady dealing. Very helpful throughout the whole process. I recommend them to anyone buying a mobile home. This was not my first time buying a home, but it was the first time it wasnt a horror show.

My parents got a mobile home from them. They said they will have all set up and done in a month and half been over 2 months. Weeks will go by before you see anyone working then they come for a day then it will be another two weeks before you see anyone. I would never deal with them again. My parents wants to get all their stuff out of storage but they cant cause the house isnt done. They will say anything to get your money once their get your money they dont get in no hurry to get it done.

Scam artists tell you a price one day. Then the next give u different number. Said 50 thousand for set up. Know thats a lie called other places and was told that was bs. Dont waste your time on them. Which I could put zero stars. And will be contracting bbb.

Drove up from Charlotte as part of a day long trip to various dealers. Arrived at 4:00 pm and after standing in a completely empty office for over seven minutes a woman came out and said that her two salesmen were out on the lot with other customers. We said that was fine.... We preferred to do walk thrus on our own. Was told that unescorted tours were not allowed. ??? Not sure what she thinks will happen but this was the only dealership in five that had such a provision. We chose to leave as we dont need a babysitter nor high pressure sales tactics when making our decisions.

They treated us as if we were family and held our hand through the whole process. Great place to start your life as a home owner.

Beautiful homes with excellent and professional staff.

We went in, and they man we dealt with was rude and pushy. He was training someone that day, who was very nice, I felt bad for him, not a good trainer! He never did call us, like he said he would, so he lost a sale, we just completed our closing papers with another company, Heritage Housing of Ashboro.

All three of the people I came in contact with, including the manager, were rude. No one could answer any of my questions. They were more interested in boasting selling. They approved me for a loan, but wouldnt give me the loan terms or anything besides the amount. And the homes on their lot were of poor quality.

Better off going somewhere else

Nice homes, they were a bit more pricey than other home stores we have visited.
