This place has everything and more. I spent more time learning g about new wines and local craft beers then I did actually selecting them. All the suggestions I asked the employees gave me spot on results. I found so many new beers to try, all craft, and new wines to try. Everything about this place made me excited to go home and tell the wife so we can go back. Pricing is great and selection is massive, who can argue with that!

This Total wine has the best staff and the store is always nice and clean. The staff are very knowledgeable and are always willing to help. I have been to this chain store all across South and North Carolina and this one is easily my favorite store because they are well stocked and the staff surely make the difference by remembering who you are and what you like to drink. I will definitely be returning in the near future for my drinking needs.

DO NOT GO HERE Take your business elsewhere unless you want to be double charged and them not know what to do about it. Went in the other day and when I paid, I saw it say it went through. However, the woman on the register said it didnt and rescanned everything (which if it didnt go through you wouldnt need to rescan everything). Look at my bank account the next day and sure enough got charged twice. Go all the way back and tell them at the customer service desk what happened. She proceeds to say well youre not a rewards member so Im not sure how Im going to find it or what to do. Finally finds it and asks me if I had the receipts!! The cashier supposedly only charged me once at the time HOW would I have two receipts!?! Then proceeds to make me DESCIBE what I bought to prove it (and yes that means the name, brand, what the bottles looked like, etc). YOURE LOOKING AT MY BANK ACCOUNT WHERE IT CAME OUT TWICE AND NOTHING GOT PUT BACK IN WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO SEE. By the way all they did was submit it to corporate so well see if I actually get my money back. Most ridiculous thing Ive ever dealt with from a business.

Ha one star. Doesn’t even deserve that. My husband went in (30) and they did check his ID. Then his friend right behind him with his kid went to check out and asked for his ID and then came up and said they could sell to him because of his kid. Ha what a joke of a store. And the lady store manager was an absolute disgrace to that store. She should be fired.

Wide wine, bourbon and beer selection at competitive prices. Bourbon is a bit over MSRP, but SC liquor laws make that difficult so I understand. Very knowledgeable staff that can always help with wine, cigar or bourbon selections, especially Rob! I always find something new to try.

Always have a great experience, I am new to the bourbon world and the staff and managers take the time to explain everything to you. Also I had a bag break after leaving the store that 2 bottles of wine in it and they were nice enough to replace the wine when they didnt have to. Will always be a customer of theirs

One stop shopping for your wine, liquor and beer needs. Love this store. When the sommelier is on duty he can steer you to the right vintage. Beer is all about taste, ale, stout, IPA, Wheat, crafted, pilsner and Coors. Liquor, well that requires a longer detail discussion.

SO much selection. We picked up several great Russian River Pinot, good scotch and even found one of my favorite Belgium beer.....Tripel Karmeleit.

They have it All! If you can’t find what your looking for they are there to help you. If you don’t know what it tastes like they are there to explain what’s in it or how to mix it. And lots of mini size Bottles too so when you find what you like come back and get a bigger bottle.

Great selection of spirits on one side and wine & beer on the other. Staff were very helpful in helping us choose some good wines for our Thanksgiving meal. Additionally gave us the scoop on a wine club member only flash deal of 20% of 6 bottles PLUS we could join the club today for the discount. All staff we spoke to were very knowledgeable and gracious. Info certainly helped us save since we bought 3 cases for our holiday meal plus a couple bottles sparkling for a smaller celebration! 🤗

This place used to be the spot to go for beer but competitive selections both in pricing and convenience in supermarkets means that if you’re a beer fan this isn’t the place to go. And as far as wine is concerned, nothing you can’t find online.

The best part is that they make it really easy to find and try new products that suit your tastes. Each product has a special placard which gives tasting notes for that specific product. The placard also contains the products public rating on a well-known review website, such as Beer Connoisseur, if a rating is available.The prices are pretty fair as well, and the staff has been very friendly and helpful on the multiple occasions that Ive been here.

Was chased around the store by 3 different employees demanding I wear a mask. 2 cornered me until I put a mask on. Also noticed employees not wearing their mask properly. And disguarded masks in their parking lot.

Dont shop here if you cant wear a mask. Or, choose to exercise your right to follow the SC governors direction to lift mask wearing if you can social distance. Customers are sampling wine etc, NO mask (bc you cant drink with one on) but dont walk through without it. The staff will chase after you with a box of masks demanding you wear one. Nope. Everything you want, and some you probably dont need.

Let me start off by saying that the store has an amazing selection of craft beer, wine, spirits, etc. My friends and I felt like kids in a candy store. However, our dreams were crushed at the checkout when the cashier asked to see all 3 of our ids. My driver’s license is kept on an app on my phone (LA wallet) which is a valid form of identification in the state of Louisiana. I’ve never had any issues using the app outside of the state before today. After explaining to the store manager how the app works and showing them the option to scan the id to prove that it’s real. They decided to refuse it as an acceptable form of identification and asked to see a physical id. I even went as far as to contact total wine customer service and they said that it’s not against their policy to not accept a virtual driver’s license, and the state of South Carolina also as no rule against accepting virtual driver’s license as a valid form of identification. We left very upset knowing that the manager would rather refuse a sale worth over $100 after he was given proof of a valid form of identification(both of my friends had their physical driver’s license and I had a virtual one). I wasn’t even the one making the purchase and virtual identifications are more secure than physical forms!!!
