First time there the other day to grab a few boxes of night crawlers. Great service all around.

I would say the single best shopping experience I ever had. The owner was really friendly and knowledgeable. Prices were very fair. If anyone needs fishing gear this is the place to go, forget the so called mega sporting goods store and support our local businesses. God bless the owner Fred.

10/10. Fred will hook you up with everything you need to know about fishing in the area and you set you up for success. This place is a treasured resource. Just remember, its cash only.

He is not customer oriented, he reserves the right to sell broken equipment and directs customers to deal with the manufacturer only. He does NOT take returns/exchanges even if he sells broken equipment and even if you return within a week of buying broken equipment. When we tried to return he cursed the entire time we were there and even knocked over some of his poles which made me wonder how our anti-reverse button may have broken before we bought it. He was incredibly rude, he hung up on me when I tried to explain how disappointed I was in the service of the phone. Truly disappointed with how he handled the situation and how he gives mom and pop shops a bad name.

Fred is the best. I took my Grandson to get his rod and reel fixed there and get bait Fred is so wonderful and his store is amazing .I highly recommended Byram bait and tackle

Great place very people friendly and knew what I actually needed compared to big stores. I liked how he showed me other options not just one particular product. It made me feel at home rather than I was in a store at all. Recommend for both new and experienced fishers.

The guys were very friendly, and very helpful in pointing me to some local fishing spots. I’ll be back there again.

Clams wasnt well refrigerated and the bloodworms are 13 dollars for one dozen. Porgy hooks are about 4 dollars. Things are a little too price in this Bait & Tackle Shop and space is very limited.

I can only tell you that he is a bad seller, he treated me only with words outside of morality and not only that but also you ask him for things and if you make a mistake he curses you I have a bad experience with that seller rather have Be careful because you pay him and he plays crazy and tells you that you have not paid him so be careful with those who are going to buy there
