Its great to see this charity settling into their new much larger space. Its split into various rooms, ours had a small play area for younger kids. The service was prompt and the menu remains simple but with enough choice for a tasty breakfast or lunch. It would be a good venue for a child or adult party with the big long tables they now have.

Lovely place with a great ethos and culture for helping people with special needs. The new premises in the arcade are much bigger, it can get a bit noisy though, possibly some hangings on the walls would help? Could be an art project?

Lovely place for kids with a great ethos and purpose. The food is nice. I recommend the soup and sandwich option. Today I had pea and mint and a ham sandwich. My 5-year-old likes the gingerbread options (which he hasnt realised are the cheapest option - ha!). Kids portions of sausage and beans are generous. We went for one of those and some crumpets between our two boys (5 and 1.5 years). Nice toys area for the kids to play in. Recommend sitting away from this zone if you dont have kids! Unless you really like the sound of squabbling over who has the frying pan.

Great tasting food reasonably priced. Around 30 of us Lycra clad cyclists descended on the cafe all at once and the staff at Outside the Box did a great job of accommodating us despite the mad rush. Efficient and friendly, would highly recommend to the public or other cycling clubs

Lovely cafe, great prices, friendly staff and its great that they use the cafe to support people with learning disabilities (who were very friendly and helpful to my 3 year old who has coeliac disease). Some gluten free options, more than the bigger coffee chains have. Will come here again.

This is a beautiful cafe which I see as a haven for so many people. It is always warm and welcoming in here, the decor is colourful and cosy, and the food/drinks are delicious. I love to sit at the front of the cafe, at the big window and watch the world go by. I recommend treating yourself to a jacket potato and hot chocolate, followed by one of the amazing homemade cakes.

As well as a great social project, also a nice little cafe and well located, especially if you are heading back from the park. Good for morning or afternoon tea and cake or lunch. Also, very kid friendly with a kid area including books and toys.

Love the atmosphere - friendly and welcoming for all. Good coffee, great cakes and the childrens play kitchen is lovely. Also like little touches like the book swap shelf. Can be very busy around lunchtime.
