Very responsive vendor. I placed a call at 3:30PM on a Sunday, and they were here within 45 minutes; and they were highly effective in replacing the broken spring, and recommending that I also replace the other spring which appeared to be worn. Great & prompt service!

BEWARE of this company. They came to my house to fix a garage and indicated that my motor needed to be replaced. They came back with another motor that the tech said was similar, but not the same/ and now I come to find out they installed a sub-par device used primarily when speccing homes for sale (ie. cheaper). While installing the tech asked me to go online and rate him as he received a bonus for full star ratings which seemed odd to ask prior to the job being complete. The door has not worked properly since installed and they have been out twice and keep telling me it is fine. It finally broke (only 2 years old) and when I called two other companies they indicated that it was not installed properly and I was overcharged by about double for the first installation. I want U&D to replace it as it should still be under warranty, but getting anyone to answer a phone or a question is impossible. They scheduled an appointment without telling me for next week and have not indicated that there will be no charge. This company feels like a shell game, so buyer beware!

Diana did an awesome job replacing our garage door, from start to finish. Due to an unfortunate accident, our original garage door got dented and after calling a few companies, Up & Down was the most responsive and actually was able to come out the day we called to determine next steps. Due to the damage, the whole door had to be replaced but we ended up with a much nicer door that will last us for years to come. They were flexible with my schedule and within a week, the new door was installed and looks perfect. Couldn’t recommend this company enough!

We recommend this company based on today’s excellent service. Our garage door wouldn’t open, and our car was inside the garage. We called two companies found on the internet, and those guys never called back. Up & Down was very nice and helpful on the phone. Chris arrived on time and just a little early. He was pleasant and knowledgeable, and he explained what the problem was and how he could repair it. He went right to work and cleaned up when he was done. We have taped their name and info to the inside of our garage door so we will remember this company in the future.

I called on a Thursday evening after hours and was impressed that not only was the phone answered but that they were able to make a Saturday 8 AM appointment. Then it went down hill from there. 8:15 nothing. I texted back the number that texted me the confirmation although I thought it was odd that another company name and number was given as though it was a dispatch service that made the appointment working for many garage door repair companies but I let it go. After 5 minutes I called the different number and I was told there was a technician on the way and I asked for a call at 8:43 from that technician with an arrival time. No calls for another 15 minutes. I called the original phone number to complain again then I received a call from Miguel who said he call be there in 30 minutes. I asked about the 8 AM appointment and he said it wasnt in his schedule. I said cancel the appointment.

We dealt primarily with a tech named Ron, who helped replace a damaged panel on our garage door. We had an unfortunate incident initially where the first panel installed had dents in it. We noticed it immediately reported the issue to Ron. He coordinated the second replacement a few weeks later. Ron was really pleasant throughout our entire interaction with him and very prompt to respond to any questions. He was cheerful and clearly knew what he was doing. Started working, then charged me $420.00 for repair work.If knew that before hand, I would have just held off on the job. I paid for the JOB, however this was a learning experience for me. I’m NOT letting ANYONE from here going forward do any type of work unless COSTs are fully explained/broken down. This company FAILED to do that. He just started working assuming I would just pay whatever the balance was at the end.Regarding the work itself was done ok. I couldn’t be any happier. My garage door is finally fixed.The biggest problem here was the lack or lack there of explaining labor and parts that will be associated with the job.Questionable ratings here on google...
