Contacted Antero Automotive after reading other great reviews. Needed oil change & routine maintenance on short notice before my student headed to college. They kindly fit us in and provided excellent communication & service. Link sent with checklist detailing mechanical inspection, from which only necessary items were addressed. Thoughtful suggestions about upcoming future need for tires and where to purchase them so they can be serviced near campus were made. Estimate was fair and work was completed before promised time. Will definitely use again.

Got in contact with Antero Automotive after a friend referred them to me. Theres was noise coming from the rear end and couldnt figure out what was causing it. They got me in, diagnosed the problem, and did a general inspection. They even gave me a ride back to work since it was only a few miles from them. A couple hours later, Antero sent me a text with a link that provided detailed results and pictures of the inspection and estimate. They had the part on hand and was able to fix the issue that same day. Some other issues came up during the inspection and were able to get those addressed as well. Fantastic communication and competent! Will definitely be using them from now on.

The Antero team has been my go-to mechanic for several years and multiple vehicles. They provide detailed analysis with photos of the issues they find, explaining what and why a repair is necessary or suggested. They don’t pressure you into repairs that could be delayed and they have always done an excellent job of staying on schedule and communicating progress.The front office staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and always helpful. Our original mechanic was booked out for months, so they referred us here. We actually priced out the job with a few local repair shops before deciding on Antero. Not only were their prices competitive, the service was outstanding. Andrew and Benji took the time to explain everything to me and made sure to communicate pricing so there were no surprises when it came to our bill. They were transparent, honest and even accommodated our travel schedule. I’ve already referred family and friends. We will be coming here from now on with all of our vehicles.

The team at Antero are the best by far. Very knowledgeable and they never push any unnecessary repairs on you. I have brought multiple vehicles in for a variety of reasons and they always tell me their recommendations and what can be done at a later time. They are very trustworthy and I do not go anywhere else unless they tell me a better option. Even my latest issue they did research and found out it was a factory recall issue and pointed me to the dealership since it would be covered by them. Kuddos to the full team there!

Great group and very professional. This was the first time we used them and could not be more impressed. Solid work, done efficiently and at a very fair price. Anybody wanting work done may have a wait, so could be worth shopping around. They claimed the earliest they could fix an AC hose was in seven weeks, which was surprising! Been using them for seven years and not known them to have such a wait. Thankfully, multiple other auto services nearby could do the work within days so Im sorted, but worth checking with these guys ahead of time.

I came to Antero to fix my tailgate and get an inspection for a cross-country trip. Instead of taking my money to fix the tailgate they advised me to check the warranty as it is probably covered. (They could have very easily said nothing and just charged me.). They also performed an inspection and didnt find anything needing attention. They did not charge me and threw in a car wash. Very impressed with the way they do business. Nice job!Andrew was my specialist. I will be working with them for my car needs in the future.

TRUST! Something that can be hard to come by with automotive repair shops, but I totally trust Antero and will stop going to elsewhere! Received bad service and advice from Brakes Plus and even my Ford dealership - “needs immediate attention and repair” for some major items (but zero trust there), with no overwhelming proof of dire need?!? So, decided to go back to Antero - lots of great service on past trucks/suvs but not as convenient from Parker. Professional diagnosis, explanation and advice on the questionable issues and nothing major needed at this time, but something we can watch with ongoing services. TRUST!

I would highly recommend Antero Automotive. I needed my breaks done and after initial inspection they told me I had a little life left in them but would need service around my next oil change. I loved their honesty in saying I could go longer and could wait on the service. I decided then that I would have them do the job for me instead of delaying the brake job. They were fast, friendly and honest.

Traveling across the country from Virginia, my son’s AC compressor clutch went out in Kansas headed to Aurora, Co. We found Antero online with excellent reviews. We talked to Andy, super nice, super professional. He said he could look at the car the following day and most likely get the compressor fixed in the same day. That was the case! We dropped the car off when arrived in Aurora that night. Andy called us the next morning, gave us the diagnosis and price. The car was ready to go by 3pm, they even checked over the engine for any other possible problems. And they washed the car! We were back on the road that evening. Due to the circumstances, they helped expedite the diagnostic and repair. I called at opening to see if they could replace my headlights. They told me to call before close to see if they could fit me in. They fit me in super last minute right before close and they were amazing! Super nice, professional and did a great job. I will be retuning.

What a great shop! When my car wouldnt start and AAA couldnt jump it, the tow driver suggested this place. I cant thank him enough! Great professional service. Above and beyond on helping me evaluate my new used truck, make necessary repairs and get new tires and bed cover done for my trip. Just drove 1700 miles hauling my horse with absolutely no problems at all. Truck still full on oil even!! Great for diagnostics and repairs and just on going maintenance. Highly recommend!!

Not sure what is going on here. I was recommended to Antero through a friend but my experience must be very different. Both quoted repairs were priced incredibly high compared to what I was expecting. The first I had done by Antero due to timing. I had a coupon for a free diagnostic check as being part of a new customer, they breezed over that and charged me for it anyway ($145). The second repair bill I couldnt stomach. $375 for parts that I ordered from a reputable store for $129. Even if they charged me a 20% mark up on the part that is still only $154. Then another $150 in labor. I dont know what rates they are working off of but I am not a professional mechanic and I can get this done in less than 3 hours.They washed our car as part of our inspection and that is about the only positive I can end on. Way too high in pricing and we wont be returning.

Antero did a thorough diagnostic to see what was wrong with my car. They ordered the part needed and scheduled repair. They were helpful with explaining everything.

I was recommended this place for my BMW from another auto shop. I did not expect this. When you call it is pleasant when you walk in it is pleasant clean and smells great when you deal with anybody there it is pleasant and best of all they go above what you ask as a courtesy. They did a light inspection took pictures and told me what my future looks like in the car. Gave me quotes and professional opinions. I cant believe I had a easy breezy experience when dealing with an auto shop. I am a women and never felt like they tried to take advantage of my lack of auto knowledge. Service was great and the techs and advisors didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need, they offered great recommendations and options and made sure I knew I could trust them. Very clean environment, just difficult for the Lyft drivers to find.

My experience at Antero was great. I was nervous beforehand but they were professional, timely, communicative. The dealership told me last year I would likely need my brakes replaced within a year, they took a look and told me I have likely another 15k miles left on them. They offered me options for how to fix my fan motor and didn’t push me to do it immediately, but I opted to move forward with the replacement and it was done within hours. 10/10 recommend and will definitely go back.

Fantastic service and communication. Benji was extremely helpful and honest. Response time for service was fast and thorough. Diagnostic and inspection reports were sent with pictures and detailed descriptions of issue. Car was returned washed and cleaned, which was unexpected but very nice. This is by far the most professional and honest mechanic I’ve been to.

I have been a client of antero automotive for at least ten years through several cars. i cant think of another business in any industry that excels in every area youd want them to. friendly, professional, financially reasonable to inexpensive, respectful, capable, and, most important, they are *trustworthy*.they are competent with and supremely knowledgeable about classic vehicles and those modern things that practically drive themselves.they are super accommodating. no one to drive you home after you drop off your car? they have a dedicated staffer to get you there. your vehicle needs a part that is stuck in the suez? theyll lend you one until it gets here. and all their vehicles are clean and nice enough that youre almost sad to get yours back.they honor their promises. ive gotten my car back when promised and have never been charged more than their estimated cost. no surprises. no drama. and nothing you ask for is a problem.as far as integrity goes, they are the antithesis of the stereotypical mechanic shop. no lies about whats wrong with your car, no made up issues, and they have even talked me out of services i thought id need because a dealer shop told me to get them. they gave me honest and good advice about my car when it got old. estimated it would hang in there for another year and a half before it would be too costly to keep fixing. sure enough, thats what happened.and you will not find any patronizing here. i know nothing about cars besides how to drive them and everything is explained - not mansplained!! - and im given options about what to do with it.the shop is clean, as is their environment. there is no cursing or coarse behavior that ive found in another shop before. you may as well be talking to your childs school administrators (when your kids done something good). they are down to earth and friendly too! they actually care about their customers as well as our vehicles and make just as much effort to get to know us as they do our rides. so much so that, while i dont look forward to my car needing service, i actually look forward to seeing them all again! kid you not, its easier to have a car problem because of antero than it is to arrange a carpool.and your cars not officially done and returned to you until its been through a car wash.if i had to leave a review without all these deets, i would simply say that i now refer to antero automotive as MY mechanic. and i would say you shouldnt waste your time and energy on other quotes and opinions. trust my mechanics at antero with no doubts or regrets.and tell them the underhills sent you.

Im so happy about the service I received recently at Antero Automotive. Ive heard about this wonderful place through associates and I couldnt be happier. I travel quite a bit for work and I needed to get some electrical work done on my car in a short work week time frame. I decided to walk in to see what their prices would be on the work that needed to be done on my car and they quoted me with a very fair price and they booked me an appointment a few days later. Employees there were very welcoming and very friendly. They did a great job for a very reasonable price and most importantly treated me fairly, and honestly. While at the Lexus Parts counter, we inquired about a place where we can have some mechanical work done on our Lexus GX470, The Lexus Rep immediately referred us to Antero. Coincidentally, a customer who was waiting for his part order confirmed having used Antero shop and that they are very good. I am very happy I selected them to do a lot of work for me. The owner is extremely nice as well as Benji (spelling?) at the front desk. They are very accommodating, courteous and professional and have done a terrific job for us. They went over and beyond what is expected of them. Although, it is not their specialty, they replaced a door moulding for us and charged us almost nothing. I am very happy I travelled over an hour from Colorado Springs to take the car to their shop. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for an extremely reliable mechanic shop. I am absolutely certain that you will not be disappointed. They gave us a loaner both days we had the car there. In fact, I will return there for more services. This is a great shop.

These guys are fantastic!! Was passing through Denver early Thursday morning, called and they were booked til Monday but told me to bring it inAnd they would try to work it in. Ended up replacing turbos! Got me out Friday afternoon before closing. Called to keep me posted during repair and called to check on me when I got back to Texas. Truck still running excellent! I’m new to the area so when my car broke down I turned to Yelp to find a highly rated car shop with immediate availability. Antero was able to get me in the same day. While diagnostics took a while they were thorough and kept me updated. They made sure I didn’t have to spend more money then I needed to and asked me to keep them updated. Good honest people who want to get you back on the road as soon as they can. As a young female they made me feel comfortable and even showed me the piece that was bad. They even washed the outside of my car for no extra charge! I definitely found my new go-to auto shop.

I felt comfortable for the first time ever as a female leaving my car. This auto shop is honest, talented, and trustworthy. I originally took my car in to get some things checked out. They did a full work up on my vehicle and sent me a digital report in full detail on what was working and what needed to be addressed.For this particular I ended up just needing an oil change which they were able to get done the same day. When I picked up my vehicle, the car was washed, they wiped down the inside and even left an air freshener! I’ve calculated it out and I would have paid more for an oil change at the dealership. So I’m saving money on top of supporting a talented/knowledgeable local auto shop.The staff! Staff was extremely nice, patient, and caring. They never once made you feel pressured to get any work done. If you had any questions, they would explain in a way so that you would understand.Overall, I highly recommend Antero. You will not be disappointed. I won’t be wasting my time or money at the dealerships.

I went to this shop at random as they were highly recommended by my maintenance warrenty company as a repair facility. I was impressed at the extensive initial inspection with came with notes and images of things I normally cant see in a summary email. The shop needed my vehicle on several different days to complete the work needed but were so great. They even provided a loaner vehicle one day and rides back and forth to work on another day. This was extremely helpful and much appreciated.

Update: still great! Just did oil change and tire rotation. Told me about likely brake work in the future. Otherwise, they didnt find anything to charge for. Besides good mechanics, they are honest which is why I wont go anywhere else.I have tons of friends who recommended this place over many years, and closest AAA club certified in my area. Simple process where pictures and repair items to respond to are on an easy to use web page. Best part is honesty. They could have charged me for unnecessary stuff but pointed out I didnt need it up front. Not going anywhere else now.

They have always done a great job on repairs at Antero. They are also efficient, considerate and nice to work with.

These guys charged me nearly $550 to repair something that didnt fix and was unrelated to the issue my vehicle was having. I had my car worked on last month by this shop for a very specific issue; I was getting a consistent clunking noise coming from my drivers side front. I gave detailed info on where the noise was coming from and when it was occurring. First thing the guy at the service counter starts saying is that theyll need to hook up mics to the car to determine where the source of the noise is coming if they cant determine it by road testing (Over $100 service and not need in my situation.) Then I was told I need a full diagnostic to determine the issue and any other problems my car might have (Again over $100 service not needed for my issue and it wasnt my first time going to them.)Before I was told all of this I let them know I visually inspected the under side of the car where the noise was coming from and didnt see any visible damage or leaking. I did say that maybe it could be a wheel bearing. The guy at the service counter pretty much immediately dismissed that being the issue as he said unless I was getting a humming or squealing sound that the wheel bearing most likely wasnt the issue. (Guess where the direction of my repair went....)The shop inspects my vehicle and I get a very detailed laundry list report about issues with the car. (Of course b/c I mentioned it earlier) They list my drivers side wheel bearing as being bad and needing to be replaced (No mention of the condition of the other bearings.) They also said in the report that I said the front struts were noisy and all needed to be replaced $1500 job. (I never said anything about the struts being noisy, I told them I was getting a consistent clunking from the drivers side front.) So the work on the bearing was done based on their recommendations. I go to pickup my vehicle after the work is finished and the guy at the service counter says Oh yeah, you still have a clunking noise even after they suggested replacing a bearing based on their diagnosis. I left their shop bewildered as to what I just paid for as my car was still clunking after having them service it.Fast forward a few weeks later, I realized I had to start from scratch to get my car repaired. I did some research and found a very competent and straightforward repair shop that correctly diagnosed my issue (Replacement of Front Sway Bar End Links & Frame Mount Bushings.) I was charged $600 and got the clunking issue resolved.Sadly, Anteros fancy report mentioned that the sway bar links and ends were bad and needed to be replaced on my vehicle, but never gave a repair quote or suggested anything about replacing them would fix my clunking noise. AVOID GOING TO THIS SHOP FOR ANY SORT OF CAR REPAIR OR MAINTENCE. YOULL END UP BEING CHARGED FOR SERVICES AND REPAIRS YOU DONT NEED! YOUVE BEEN WARNED!

Benji and the team here were awesome. Excellent communication, quick diagnostic work, and a phone-based symptom that made the proposed repairs transparent and easy to select. Benji also helped explain the main issue in easy-to-understand language. In an auto repair world full of shady shenanigans, these guys are legit as they come. Highly recommended!

Antero Auto and Truck was the best car mechanic shop that I have ever dealt with. They went above and beyond all my expectations! My daughter who goes to college in Denver, was having some major car troubles. It is hard to know who to trust when I am in a different state, so I called several mechanics. When I talked to Benji, I felt that I could trust him. He helped me get the car to his shop, so I wouldn’t have to worry about my daughter driving it. He did a full diagnostic inspection of the car and sent me pictures and explanations of everything that was wrong, along with his recommendations. He was very fair and reasonable in the cost and didn’t try to take advantage of me not being there. He even discounted the price that the other auto shop charged me, where the car was originally. They offer a free loaner car as well. We didn’t need that however, because they got the work done so quickly. My only wish is that they had a shop in WA state as well! My daughter will always go to this shop from now on, and we will highly recommend this shop to her friends. I am so thankful and grateful for Benji’s help and all the help he gave me!

They did a pre-purchase inspection on a used car I was thinking of buying. The inspection was very thorough and they caught things that I missed, by far the best $100 I have spent recently!

Sorry for the long review. Read on if you want the details. Antero is a reputable local shop that is AAA approved that you SHOULD go to rather than the dealer or quick lube shops if you want your car treated professionally, especially for involved repairs and maintenance work beyond oil changes.My family and I have been coming here for car maintenance for almost 10 years. They have taken excellent care of several cars that my parents and I have owned during that same period of time. Benji and Andrew are phenomenal service advisors who are genuinely good people who care about you, your family, and your pocketbook. There have been a number of times when other mechanics have told me to have un-needed services done and Antero only tell me what my car actually needs. They are often so thorough that they catch things other mechanics fail to catch. I appreciate that they are so accommodating and will bend over backwards to take care of customers (i.e. using OEM parts when requested, answering persistent customer questions without seeming bothered, providing lots of useful information, actively working to build a relationship of trust with customers, etc.). I thought I needed a new timing belt and they said my old timing belt still had a little life in it (they could have easily lied to me and told me that it had to be replaced right away). Needless to say, I still had them replace the timing belt anyway for peace of mind and they alleviated all of my concerns, used a high quality replacement belt and doing a thorough job (some shops replace just the timing belt and Antero replaced the belt, water pump, tensioners, and drive belts-- a must when a timing belt failure leads to a stalled engine and can be caused by any of these components going bad). They have a good warranty as well-- 3 years to be exact. Trust me, they honor their warranty! I had them replace an oil pan on a past car and the oil pan started leaking 6 months after service. With no questions asked, they replaced the oil pan gasket at no charge.My only gripe (and its a minor one) is it is not always time efficient to come here. It is frequent that they take a number of days to perform most services and it can be challenging to go a number of days without any car and/or having to spend extra for a rental car for 3-4 days. They do have loaner cars, but they only have a couple of them on a first come first serve basis. It is definitely worth coming here for involved jobs as the quality of work is EXCELLENT but it can be a big burden to come for a simple service like an oil change if I know that I will be without a car for a couple of days (this can be hard to deal with knowing that most dealerships will have an oil change done in a couple of hours or there are lots of other independent/chain shops that will do an oil change in a couple of hours or less).Despite my minor gripe, I look forward to visiting Antero again to keep my Lexus on the road as long as possible! They have a Toyota factory certified technician on staff who has been working on Toyotas for many years-- why visit the dealer for maintenance/repair work when I can get dealer-grade work done here at a more reasonable price?

They are beyond professional. Always looking out for their customers. I’ve never felt like they’re taking advantage of me.

So pleased with Antero Automotive! They repaired both of my vehicles that were way overdue for various repairs. What is also great is they were able to finally fix an ongoing issue with my engine that other shops had totally mis-diagnosed (these other shops were going to charge me thousands). Antero took the time to carefully analyze this problem and now my car is running terrific- no more misfires! Their inspection process was thorough and they provided the analysis and estimated electronically. Ive not experienced this transparency with other repair shops. Being a AAA preferred repair shop also is a great comfort. Dave and Andy are terrific to work with. You will not be disappointed. :)

Antero Automotive is the greatest shop I have used in the Denver metro area. The owner lives up to his work and his word. There prices are fair and they do great work. I would strongly recommend Antero.

Antero is top notch Ive been taking my vehicles there for years. I always recommend this place to anybody looking for a mechanic and I know I have given them a few more regulars besides me. Honest and fair prices. Andy and Dave and the entire staff are all great.

Went in for a quote and when I picked my car up it was scratched both front and back bumper like someone drove against a a wall. No one said anything and they avoided checking cameras. I’m filing a police report as they have stoped responding to me and my husband. Do not bring your car here. They blame being busy on not knowing what happens to your car.

Theyre reasonably priced. They told me that my pickup had a bad brake rotor and a rusty brake shoe. I had Brakes Plus take a look and they told me my brakes were in good shape.

This was my first visit to Antero Automotive and it wont be my last. I had seen Antero under my AAA recommendations and because of its convenient location I thought I would give it a try. I needed some routine filter maintenance done that was recommended by my auto dealer and emailed Antero for a price estimate and Benji responded very quickly at a better price point than my dealer, so I made an appointment. The appointment was above and beyond my expectation. Since I was a waiter I was amazed at how quickly they were able to do the job ( at my dealer the wait time was always more than an hour) but here I didnt even get the seat warm. They also did a complete inspection just like the dealer, making sure my vehicle was in tip top condition and ensuring if there was any need they would advise. On top of that they washed my car. Now that is service above and beyond. Antero is very professional and they treat the customers time with respect. I definitely trust them with my 2017 Subaru Forester for any future needs it may have. Gosh Im glad I found them and I got a AAA discount as well. Im sold.

This is one of the BEST places you can ever take your car to get serviced. All the staff there are all very nice and actually care for your car. Service was top notch. I am definitely going to be coming regularly for all my car needs from now on!

I’ve been going to Antero for about 4 years and love the service. They’re honest and tell me if I absolutely should get something fixed or if I can hold off. They don’t price gouge me and they always seem to remember me. Also you get a car wash at the end! I’ve recommended them to many folks already!
