First time Ive ever been there and these guys are top shelf all the way ! They were able to help me find the parts I needed and we had to order them since it was an oddball of a part. The prices seem really fair and the guys were great.

All seem to devote full time to each customer no rush no pressure, great experience each visit, they are very fast but thorough work they know what they are doing.

If I could give a half star I would. Brought my riding mower in to get them to service it back in Dec 2020. This was just a routine maintenance with one extra. That one extra was my parking brake. The service dept says it will take 4 weeks. No problem since it was Dec. I called 6.5 weeks later b/c I have not heard from them. Service says it will be ready soon and miraculously it was ready two days later after I called. I paid 350.00 for this mower to be ready for the season. I have cut twice and my parking brake wont work, my battery died and the mower cuts uneven in the yard. Just do the work right B&F!! If you forgot to work on my mower just admit it and do it right!! Bad service! I will tell more people as I already have about this place.This is not an issue from 5 mons ago!! This is less than 90 days. I dropped it off in Dec and you let it sit for almost 2 mons before I called and asked about it. Check your records and lets not act like I gave false info. Your team did a bad job on my mower because they rushed the work to get it done. You did $50 worth of work for $350 that I paid!

I had a great experience with B&F in Greenwood. I needed a new engine on my old log splitter. I towed it over to B&F - and they took all the measurements - bolt pattern - spindle height and length - and selected a new engine that fit perfectly. I was able to replace the engine in about an hour - and it worked perfectly. I highly recommend B&F Small Engine.

This is the second year we’ve used B&F Small Engine for the free pick up in January for annual service, maintenance, and blade sharpening on our Husquvarna riding mower. Making the appointment was easy and we were contacted for a convenient time for lawnmower pick up. Confirmation was by text and phone call. In less than three business days, I was contacted for a good time to return the mower. It was returned clean with an invoice listing all performed services. I plan to use this service on an annual basis.

I met Brian in search of a new riding lawnmower. From the first phone call to the check out register, service was great. He was polite, patient with my questions and was accommodating with our delivery time constraint. Josh met us first in the store and was just so patient with our questions as we were looking over the mower we chose. Delivery was smooth and quicker than we expected. Joshua; the driver took the time to go over the functions of the mower and how to take care of it. I cant say anything but EXCEPTIONAL service!

Dianna and I moved to McCormick, SC at the end of May in 1990, I discovered B & F not long after. As we went through equipment needing parts to service and repair this equipment and to purchase new and better tools, B & F has been able to get those parts and help us upgrade our tools. The staff are knowledgable and helpful, and do not talk down to those lacking knowledge of this type of service. Purchasing our DR lawn and leaf vacuum couldnt have been easier. And Josh was so very personable and informative about our vacuum. We would definitely do business here again. While we dont expect any issues with the equipment in the near future, we get the feeling that B&F will be there years down the road to help us with any maintenance needed. And I dont think we could have found a better deal. Owners Steve and Brian have been at the same location for 35 years. Not siting in the back reading the paper, but up front behind the counter answering questions. Their knowledge base about every brand they sell is impressive and very helpful. My sales guy Josh has sold me several Stihl products based on sound advice about spending the least amount of money for the best product for my needs.

This is my number one go to for parts. And I buy lots of parts. I drive an extra ten miles passed other shops to go here. Fourth miles round trip. I like real parts not internet parts. They have real mechanical minds not wana be mechanical minds. Brian and Floyd small engine parts are the way to go.

Got a zero turn Husqvarna from them about 5 years ago. Worked great till it started throwing out white smoke from the exhaust just after I started it. Checked and could not determine if the solenoid on carb fuel bowl or other issue was cause. Fuel was in the oil. Promptly parked it and called B&F. They were able to pick it up the same day and finish repairs less than 2 days later. Did not have to wait for them to order parts or get the right parts in from mfg. They also fixed other issue (starter solenoid) with mower and price was less than me ordering and putting on the parts myself. Will let them do the maintenance in the future.

I brought my Craftsman mower there last spring and they told me I needed a new carburetor. My dad was here last week and in 5 minutes he had it running like a song by simply cleaning out the bowl and adding fresh gas. I doubt they had even looked at it. Very poor performance. I will not return.

Best small engine shop on this side of the Mason-Dixon line. They know what theyre doing and they do it quick and professionally. Plus their prices are fair. Some of the most honest people ive ever done business with. They always exceed my expectations.

Thought I was gonna have to buy an expensive new mower, but these folks know their business. Not only did they repair my machine in a timely manner; they also earned my business forever.

Went for a general tune up ($150) and belt change ($60). Wanted them to call me if it exceeded any of that. Came back thinking it will be around $225 but the bill was $440. Apparently they forgot to call me and changed the battery also. Mower runs the same as before the repair including the need to jump the battery and spray before getting it started. Dont know what they did other than changing the belt. Not cool that they didnt call before inflating the bill with random stuff.

Wouldn’t waist my time at this store. Rude and terrible counter service. Not helpful at all. Would never recommend this terrible place.

This sorry shop is only for the commercial customer. If you are a individual that needs your lawn mower serviced, you will wait 3+ weeks, so they can accomodate the commercial customer first. This shop does not comprehend that the commercial customer has a backup lawn mower and still work, and the individual customer does not have a back up. If the owner was smart, he would have a consumer team and a commercial team, to service both types of customers, but he is not. The poorest business philosophy in Greenwood. The should re-name their business B & F Small Brain.

They have all your favorite Stihl, Scag, Husq, Artic Cat, Briggs and Stratton machines to get the job done. My favorite item is their auto-mower. Cuts grass by itself. Fabulous.

Dropped off lawn mower for repair, and came back to pick it up and they couldnt find it. they gave my lawn mower to another customer. there solution was to try and get it back from the other customer.....try. so now we are without the a lawn mower. dont trust these fools.
