Quick and friendly service! Hans the mechanic fixed my squeaky disc brakes and had my bike good as new in under an hour. Each employee I’ve interacted with has been friendly and eager to answer any questions I had. Will definitely be back!

Took my 3 wheel trike in for brake issues. Was given an estimate of possibly a week for repairs. Was pleasantly surprised getting it back the next day and already riding again. Amazing service and fairly priced.

I brought in an old bike I bought on Facebook marketplace. It had some problems and the service guy was real honest and said he could try to fix it, but the cost would be comparable to a new bike. He showed me some high end bikes but then showed me something that would be great for a beginner like myself. He spent the time to teach me about the gears and how to handle the bike, let me test drive it, and didnt try to upsell me on add ons. I did get a light and he installed it for me. I really appreciated how friendly and honest he was! I would highly recommend going here if youre new to biking. They sell nice bikes thatll last you a long time. Its worth spending a little more money now and having a bike that will last you years.

I have been doing business with these folks for 20+ years. I use the bike shop yearly for tune ups and overhauls. I have purchased fitness gym equipment from them over the years also including delivery and setup. I have never had a less than stellar contact with them. Knowledgeable, polite and exact. No this is not the place to purchase a 75$ Huffy. If you desire to ride or consider it take a moment to visit the store and see how professionals do it. You can ask questions, get fitted for a bike, shop for a bike or maybe some shoes socks or riding shorts, maybe even some workout gear.

I had the opportunity to meet with Suzan at BGI in Greenwood in regards to purchasing a bike. I had originally thought I knew what I wanted but after riding a few bikes and discussing the different options available Suzan was able to help me select the perfect bike for my riding adventures. I have browsed at other bicycle stores and never received this kind of knowledge and customer service. I highly recommend BGI for all of your fitness pursuits.

Bought a nice 2021 Trek Verve 2 Disc bike from BGI Greenwood today. My experience with BGI was amazing and the salesperson “Suzan” was professional. She was waiting for me to pickup my bike after 4pm on Saturday. She also helped me put the bike safely in my car. I really appreciate her help and for the time she spent after working hours.I was happy to find a nice bike during the shortage of bikes in the market. Unfortunately all of the bikes I’m interested in are not currently available anywhere in the market. Pretty much every bike in the industry under 1000 is sold out at the moment. But I never gave up and kept checking with BGI until I got a great bike.

Super nice people. Top quality equipment and accessories. Great place if you want something that will last and they are committed to your happiness. I had a return, I thought for sure would be a hassle, they were awesome. It was not about the money they wanted to make sure I was happy. I would buy for them any time.

Talking about bad costumer service !!!!I called to purchase a bike they had in stock. I was so happy as I had been hunting for this bike for a while. Told him I would be in shortly to pick it up. When I arrive 1 hour later to pick the bike up the gentleman told me he sold it 30 minutes after my call. Very disappointed! What company sells a bicycle out from underneath another. I asked about ordering one since he sold mine. As he’s walking away he says not available until January! I promptly placed an order through Matthews Bikes and was assured that when that bike arrives in November that it was held for me. Unfortunately I’ll have to wait. Matthews will be receiving all of my future business. Very disappointed at Bicycle Garage as this is my last interaction with their business.I definitely don’t recommend this place.

I didn’t have much knowledge about bikes before i came here but Joseph helped me find the perfect bike within my price range. He even helped me pick out some accessories and happily answered all of my questions. The guys in the back even assembled the accessories on the bike for no extra charge. I will definitely come back for all of my future bicycle purchases and tuneups!

I bought a treadmill there seven years ago. They have provided extremely good service over the years and have backed the product’s warranty to the hilt. The motor went out on the treadmill 10 days before the five year warranty was set to end. They came out and replaced the motor at no charge to me. I highly recommend that you consider them if you’re looking for high-quality service and high-quality equipment. Their products are not In expensive but I feel they are well worth the cost when combined with the service that I have experienced.

Awesome store with a good selection and range from beginner to pro.I visited the store last December looking for parts for my older Trek 4300. I needed a rear derailleur hanger, very hard to find the right one. Even though my bike was in Texas they were able to figure out the right one and gave me the information so I could buy it when I get back home.The staff really know what they are doing. I recommend this bike shop for repairs and maintenance. even if you buy online, come to BGI for good setup and maintenance.

Very happy with the tune up that I got. My 2016 Giant Escape 3 feels brand new again. The staff was friendly and informative.

Coming from a new road bike owner and very little experience, this place was awesome and insanely helpful. A professional named Brodie helped me out pick out a new road bike that Im going to be using for training and competitions. He was the man! He spent around an hour with me and was very honest and open about their pricing and options. I would recommend this place to any new rider looking for advice or equipment!

I dropped in to ask a front derailleur cable on my bike to be replaced. The guy did it in 20 minutes and cost me about $25. I was surprised it got done so fast and at a reasonable price.

I have to give this place a 5 star Bill is great The mechanics helped me when no one else could. I came from Terre Haute called every bike shop in Indiana no one could help me. Bill went out of the way giving me his personal phone number so I could send him video. The Mechanics was great Took the time to explain everything in detail. My wife took half day off to find a road bike that she been waiting for all year. She was wanting to buy a carbon giant With Ultegra or Dura Ace she seen one she liked we waited and waited no sales person would help. I’m guessing it’s because They didn’t think she was serious she has few extra pounds. Or didn’t deserve it, I really hope she wasn’t treated that way because of skin color. I talked to the sales people as I was checking out and the older lady was nasty she didn’t even know what bike I wanted and kept saying it wasn’t out yet. I know it’s out there is a guy in IL who has one. So I’ll spend rest of the day shopping for bikes

Dont waste your time or money, I tried twice at two different locations and both were failures in my opinion. I bought a bike on the North side for my daughter, it went to through the contractual safety check and on her first ride I discovered the front wheel was not true by a long shot. I then bought my son a bike at the South side shop, it went through its safety check and as I loaded it on the bike rack I found the back tire was far from properly inflated and actually had a bad tube. For a shop to say they are required to do a safety check, and one which sells high end bikes I have to really question there work and commitment to quality, when such simple items, those which I can and do fix myself at home, are simple shoved out the door. Maybe its just because it was only a $300.00 bike and not the $5000.00 one but I still would not trust them with my business or service needs again.Oh and dont show up with a bike rack not bought from them or you will get a snooty, up turned nose with a comment that it was not one of ours.Seriously this place is only for the up tight and pompous people of the cycling community, find a small town shop that actually cares about you and not just your money, you might have to wait and special order your merchandise but you will likely be treated like a worthwhile customer and not just another bag of cash.

Safety of your customers should be #1. Having a used bike sale outside during a thunderstorm seems pretty radical. How would someone even test drive a bike in a thunderstorm? It was a mad house after waiting 30 minutes in the rain anyone who walked up at the last minute was allowed to cut the people waiting in the rain.... why wasnt it delayed or canceled when lighting began to strike?

I went in on a Monday to put a bike in layaway and ended up going back Thursday night to get it. I was greeted by Dan and helped by him in all aspects. He was happy to advise me of what I need as well as set me up with a bike for my measurements. He answered all my questions and was honest about everything in my opinion. I feel the price i paid was reasonable (red trek marlin) 29er. $478.00. I picked up some accessories also (phone holder,water bottle rack & bottle)I also want to mention that Lisa was super nice and helpful with getting me what I was looking for in the equipment part of the purchase and back into the riding hobby!!! now I cant wait to put some miles on this bike!!!! They did an inspection maintenance service on my bike. They also replaced both tires to have reflective tape. I could have bought a new bike but I have had it for many years and it still looks new and rides new. Service was delivered as promised. Personnel were helpful in purchase selections for water holder. They have group bike rides.

Bought my bike at the northside store after being ignored by one of their competitors. I had a friendly and knowledgeable sales staff at the northside store. I have had the bike in for a few maintenance items at the southside store and have had the same experience: friendly and knowledgeable.For those who would suggest that a small-town store might be a better choice: good look finding one of those with the doors still open that are as knowledgeable and friendly as BGI.

The staff and service is great and deserves a 5 star rating, clean and well maintained store. My only complaint is the prices of their products and service is very expensive. This shop is meant for your spandex riding type with disposable incomes.

They were so helpful and preofessional. I was surprised at how big the store was and how many bicycles and products they offer. I went in prepared to buy a new part for my bike and rather than selling me that part, they informed me that they could fix what was wrong and save me a lot of money. I will be going back for anything I ever need for my bike!

Came her to buy a Tek Merlin 5 and these guys were super helpful and very informative.

Went in to look for some parts and ask about maintenance costs, instead of a greeting or help I was met with a look like I rudely interrupted their conversation by walking in. I said hello and they said it back... then went back to their conversation. Pretty sure you have to go in wearing cycling gear or have a bike-rack on your car to get any kind of service, otherwise youre treated like an alien. Every question was met with minimal information. When they saw I did want to buy specific parts, they tried to sell me a dozen more things instead of helping with the problem at hand - I know its a business, I thought they were there to provide a service for cyclists; not to simply sell as much of their obscenely overcharged products as possible.

Very happy with my purchase, sales staff was helpful and suggestive without being pushy.

I love BGI! They always have what Im looking for, and many times I find it on clearance/sale.

I am very impressed with Bicycle Garage Indy - South!We decided that it was time to purchase some bikes and become more active ya know...instead of sitting on the couch all day every day. Well, this is the only bike shop I know of around the Indy area. My ex and I purchased some bikes from the northside location years ago (long story) so I felt this would be a good place to start.When we arrived we were quickly greeted by a guy named Loran (at least I hope that was his name as thats the name on the receipt). We told Loran what we were looking for. Basically, we wanted a road bike, but not a road bike, but something that could do both that and some light off-road as well. He took us over to their dual sport bikes and began to explain why he would recommend those over anything else in the store. He also explained the difference between a dual sport, road, hybrid, and mountain bikes. Holy hell, I had no idea there was that much to know about bikes. It was very overwhelming.Loran could clearly see that we were overwhelmed and let us go out on our own for a few minutes to discuss what we just learned. When he came back over we told him that we were a little overwhelmed. He agreed that there was a lot to know about bikes and began to help us narrow down the different types. We were able to quickly able to rule out the road bikes as that just did not meet the needs that we were wanting out of a bike...we were also able to quickly able to rule out hybrids as well.Once we knew that it was either going to be going with either a mountain bike or dual sport bike, he took us outside and let us ride both of them behind their store. We ultimately decided to go with the Trek Dual Sport. Once that decision was made, it came down to choosing the model. Loran was very, very, very patient with us while we talked, discussed, went back and forth, and ultimately made our final decision. I was very impressed with his willingness to work with us and really help us along the way in making the best decision that we could.Once the bikes were picked out he helped us chose our accessories, and just like with the bikes explained everything to us. He even put the new bike rack on the back of my car, and walked me through out to securely install it.When I walked in to their store that day, I didnt really plan to purchase anything...but because of the outstanding service we received from Loran, we purchased two bikes, helmets, and accessories. Theyre a little on the pricey side...but the service definitely matches the price tag of their products.I recommend Bicycle Garage Indy - South to anyone who is looking to purchase a new bike, or any bike accessories!
