This place is a great place to eat. The food is delicious, VERY! I had the catfish this time and it was great. The staff is friendly and our waitress was very attentive to our requests. Despite the place being crowded, the food came out quickly!Will definitely be back there again soon!

My experience was excellent. We drove an hour away from where we were to eat here and was not disappointed. There were so many food options and all for a really good price. I loved my food along with my dessert. Im so glad we decided to eat here today. I would definitely love to come back one day.

This is a gem of a restaurant in the middle of Mississippi well worth a little detour off the highway drive from New Orleans to St Louis !I googled best pie in Mississippi & found this place!Mind you the sign says Crystal Cafe! They have diner options and then a fancier finer dining options! They also have a relatively full bar in their back dining area too!We had the chocolate cream pie & the coconut cream pie!! Both were impressive! We will definitely be back through!The hot roast beef sandwiches were delicious!

Waitress was giving us the cold shoulder, but the food was great. Probably my familys favorite place to eat in Greenwood. Those little tables need to go tho. We had 4 people at one of those little tables. Its not cool to bump elbows while you eat.
I never thought I would say this, but The Crystal Grill is on its way out.I have been eating there for forty-plus years and never had a bad meal, or a complaint, until now. The breaded veal cutlets were superb for years. It was my favorite, but now it is just plain gross. It has been changed to pork, which has a bad taste regardless of how you cook it, while the gravy is now just plain brown gravy with a lot of salt in it. It tastes nothing as it did even a year ago.My family and I made a special trip to Greenwood on Friday, May 21, 2021 just to go to The Crystal Grill. We were all highly disappointed, to say the least. I did bring it to the attention of the girl when I went to pay but she just a bad attitude about it.In addition, in the back room where we sat, another customer was vaping. I brought it to the attention of the waitress but she just mumbled something and walked off. My family should have the right not to breathe somebody elses cancer-causing addiction.Also, the wait staff has no respect for other people. When cleaning tables, they simply throw the dishes and silverware into the tub without regard to how loud and ear-piercing it is. So much for having a quiet comfortable meal.Who is running this place? They are doing a horrible job at it and need to just quit the business!Needless to say, this is the last visit we will ever make to The Crystal Grill. It has definitely lost all of its quality and appeal. There are better places to go to!
The Crystal Grill is a great place to eat! The food was cooked to perfection and more than enough! Ms. Ruth was our server and was as fun to talk to as she was spot on with our service!!! We will be back to see Ms. Ruth and the entire crew at The Crystal Grill!!!

My favorite restaurant to eat at locally! You will rarely ever be disappointed with the food, waitresses, and cleanliness or services. You get top rated meals at a very affordable price. Dont forget to order dessert! Their mile high pies are the best!
What can I say, Everytime I come to town I have to eat at the Crystal. You must eat at the Crystal if you visit Greenwood.

The food is good, but everything’s good when you drown it in butter. You just have to be aware that the only menu they post is the lunch one where everything is cheaper. They don’t let you know that till you show up expecting to pay one price and you get another. It’s not really that much more, but it’s sort of a buzz kill… especially when the surly hostess has a face that says “I don’t care whether you eat here or not.”

While visiting Greenwood we visited Crystal Grill upon local recommendations of their famous homemade pies. Upon arrival it was pleasant to have a doorman greet us and open door for cleanliness. We were directed by front staff to choose a room for open seating about 6:00p. We were directed to the back room and greeted by our pleasant but hurried server Kim B fairly quickly. Shortly after, a group came in that were on first name basis with Kim B. All attention was turned to them at that point by our waitress including her stating that” they were almost out of pies”, which we came for.. as she left their table with all of their orders, one of our party stopped her and said that we were also there for the pies. She replied she was sorry, but that she took their order first because “they were regulars “. Really? Only regulars get the world famous homemade pies that took us there? After a while KimB returned for our orders, we bought entrees and asked her to please reserve pie. The food was generous but nothing spectacular. One member had a filet that they said was quite good. Gumbo was fair. Finally dessert time, 2 members were able to get a slice of homemade pie for an additional fee. The other got Boston cream that was still frozen. Coffee was so weak we didn’t drink it. We honestly don’t see what all of the chatter was about. Perhaps had we been “regulars” it would have all been upgraded. We will not be back

Sat. Feb. 8, 2020 Stopped in the afternoon about 4:30 after visiting Delta Museum and picked up two large Greek salads to take home. We always get this salad and the yeast rolls along with whatever else we order when were there (at least if there are any yeast rolls left). You almost never find a Greek salad as good as theirs. Love this restaurant for their good food and the variety.
Fantastic! The food was divine and our server was so charming and wonderful. The red snapper, the seafood sauce (wo!)...even my daughters chicken tenders were better than any Ive ever had! Thank you for a great experience!

The food is always amazing. I particularly enjoy the stuffed flounder! My husband and daughter are fans of the chicken parmigiana and chicken alfredo, and my son is a simple man who enjoys their burgers. The chocolate pie is MUST! Try it. It makes any bad day a bit better, and any good day a better one. ;) Though we try other dishes we always go back to our old favorites. The Crystal Cafe a.k.a the The Crystal Grill, shows time and time again why they are the best food around! Aside from the rude lady who answered the phone today for our take out orders who seemed to be having a bad day, the service has been fantastic! No restaurant or fast food joint around Greenwood comes close to beating the Crystal Grill!

We drove an hour and a half from Jackson just to eat at the Crystal grill on a Saturday evening. It was worth the drive. We ordered the beef kabob, onion rings, fried oysters and gumbo. My friend said it was the best gumbo he had ever tasted. Everything was fresh and delicious and our waitress was professional and pleasant. Coming back soon!

The Crystal Grill is just iconic. They have the most consistent quality and taste any restaurant could ever aspire to. Order anything and it will be awesome. Ive been going here for over 50 years and I am amazed that their flavors have never wavered and every dish is like meeting up with an old friend. Nothing can beat the Crystal Grill, the food, the owner, Johnny Ballas and of course his great chefs and servers. Hell yeah, five stars!!

Nice little restaurant serving comfort food. The menu is quite lengthy and offers something for everyone. The service is excellent. You seat yourself and if you cant find a table in the front room, there are extra rooms off to the side and in the back.I had the jumbo frog legs, field peas, and squash casserole. The legs were huge and the best Ive ever eaten. The sides were marvelous. I highly recommend stopping by if you happen to be in town.

E Crystal Grill is a not to be missed eating experience in Greenwood. They have been doing it right for years. Good food, good service and good prices makes for a top notch experience anytime. We were able to take advantage of the Sunday dinner menu. Their signature veal cutlet almost covers the plate. There is a choice of upwards of 25 entrees. To the entree you add two sides and dessert along your drink and some of the best rolls anywhere at a reasonable price. There is no skimping on the serving size. And the sweet tea is about the best Ive ever tasted and believe me I have tasted a lot. The Crystal is a must if you are in Greenwood.

Weve been coming here for years and its always wonderful. Except for the last time. But we figured everyone is entitled to an off night and decided to give it another try tonight. It did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. The only reason for 4 stars was that weve always had to wait to be seated in all these years. Tonight when we got there, plenty of larger groups came in and seated themselves, likely as being part of a larger parties. As I stood propped on the hostess stand with employees moving all about me, someone (customer? employee?) seated at a table finally spoke up and said we can sit wherever we want. Would have been nice to know 5-10 min earlier.

Ate lunch today, I had a ribeye. It was the worst steak I’ve ever had! It was so tough and was just fat and gristle. I have been eating here for years but don’t know that I will go back. When you pay that much for a steak you expect at least a good cut of meat with some flavor.

NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN. Served cold sides, the waitress started out on a good note but that changed half way into the dining experience. She said she was sick of this s____. We told her the soup was cold. And she went left. Worst dining experience ever. Then they still had the nerve to bring over the bill without offering any customer service recovery aka discount due to the poor service AND food. The owner was dismissive and rude stating goodbye. Just leave. I will take care of it. Never going back. Period.
This was our first time eating here. From the frosted glass for the beer to the awesome waitress Amanda, this place is a must go. The food was amazing and the dessert was like heaven. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous menu of home style comfort foods. If youre appetite isnt big, an entree can easily be shared by two. The lemon icebox pie alone is worth a 5 star recommendation.

Delicious food, large portions, reasonable prices, and great service! I had the breaded cutlet with brown gravy, which included 2 sides, bread, cornbread, iced tea, and peach cobbler for about 12$!! So yummy!!!
It is a nice place to go for a family lunch/dinner. It has a wide selection of dishes and is relatively easy to get in and out of the area. The food is flavorful and I really liked the red sauce on chicken parm.
