Until today I have found this to be the place for hard to find items and great customer service. Not today. I came looking for a garbage disposal wrench. What I found was store employees only willing to send me to an isle number. I knew what this item looked like and when I told the employee I couldnt find it his response was I guess we dont have it. Apparently customer service is no longer available at ACE anymore. Luckily I found it at Loews where an associate pointed me to the location and the wrench. Thet provided the kind of service I used to get at ACE . s

Very clean and neat little store. Every time I walk into the store I ask the cashiers what Im looking for and they always seem to know what aisle its in. I was looking for a smaller size screw and they had an entire aisle and I was able to find what I was looking for fairly easy.

My Friend and I went to Ace LLC for paint, the guy was very knowledgeable as to the many builders gray paints, it was nice to go there and get the help that we needed finding what we needed, TRULY NICE FOLKS. CHECK IT OUT. ACE LLC

This is a great, little store. They have hard to find, and also very basic parts. Some of their Ace brand products (like a 5in1 paint tool I picked up), are the best quality hand tools I know of in local retail stores, for an outstandingly reasonably price.They really care about what they do there also; nobody seems to just be there for a paycheck exclusivity.Were lucky to have em, please shop there often so theyre always there for us!

Amazing store! You will love coming here and they enjoy when you bring your dogs to the store to shop. Many great brands of dog food, toys and treats. Ask for Vicki and she will take care of you. She truly cares about your dog or cat and is very knowledgable on nutrition and what food is best for their needs. They support several animal rescue groups who are usually at the store most weekends. They often have great food cooking on the Big Green Egg most summer weekends ...yum!

Very expensive. Not much choice. Staff not very friendly.

They refuse to answer the phone during business hours even when there are no customers in the store and they are just sitting/standing around. Thus forces you to drive to the store on products they do not even have. If they would stop mocking customers coming in for severe weather supplies would be a start. I was looking for other items instead. They absolutely refused to honor national promotions on tools for all Ace Hardwares that are currently running a national ad Feb 1sr - Apr 1st 2021. They have no problem trying to sell you the items at full retail price. When asked about the promotion oh no we can not honor this promotion due to floor reset/remodel when items are clearly on floor display and stocked and in inventory to be sold to customers.

I took a rake in there to exchange bc it had broken and when I took that and a few other items up to the register to buy the cashier tried to charge me for it. I had to tell her about the warranty that Ace has on their tools. She and another associate were unaware of this even though the labels of these tools have it right on there. Ive never had this happen at any other stores. Other then that mishap I was totally satisfied.

These people are always there to help. I went after furnace filters. They have moved things around, but well stocked as always. Great part of our neighborhood.

Animal House vet is at Ace Hardware once or twice a month on Saturdays. The owners at Summerfield Ace is awesome with our Greyhound and all animals!! They have all the little stuff I need and some big. Return policy is quick and easy if you get the wrong thing. The air conditioner works well. To me that means Ace cares enough about comfort for employees and customers. Someone always helps if needed. The helpful hardware guy is always there. Mask werent required, or forced on you. Animal food was everywhere. Great place for any animal foods regular or oddities. Go Trump.

Typical small time hardware store. Nice folks running the joint. Smaller selection of products. Usually better advice from the employees and you can sometimes have a conversation with the owner who also seems to always know a little bit about everything but not enough about any one thing. I would rather shop here than the big box places but the prices are usually a little higher here and all of it looks like its been on the shelf for years. Still a great place if you dont feel like getting lost in Home Depot but you may end up needing to go there anyway.

I needed a screen fixed and I called Lowes who said they could do it, but when I went to Lowes I was informed they couldnt and that I should try this Ace. I am glad I made the mistake of trying Lowes first, because I might not have found this Ace otherwise. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. They fixed my screen quickly and covered the cost of an issue that arose while fixing it. I will definitely be going here for future hardware needs.

We just paid $4.99 a gallon for LP gas shame on these people for WAY overcharging the public! I suggest you check out other locations that charging the normal local rates like tractor trailer supply, $2.79 a gallon. Wouldn’t buy anything from this location ever again!

I just spent fifteen minutes in this store looking for what I needed. I was never offered assistance. When I found it finally, I noticed that rather than offering to help, their cashier stood at the end of the isle watching me like a hawk because I was attempting to match thread depths on a lag bolt, and she apparently found it more prudent to watch me like a shop lifter than offer assistance. After all of this, I attempt to buy a $3.00 pack of bolts only to be told there was a five dollar minimum on card purchases. Many people dont even carry cash anymore. Then to add insult to injury, the same cashier starts trying to sell me candy and soda to meet their minimum. No thanks. Location is the only reason Ive ever set foot in that store to begin with. They are insanely over priced. Location be damned, they will never get my business again. I honestly hope they go out of business. Between their prices and attitude, they deserve to.

These guys welcome you when you arrive, help you out through the entire store and walk you to the cashier. I wish more places were this helpful. Also a little secret, if you are ever in the area on a Saturday around noon, you might just want to drop in...2021 UPDATE - Unfortunately this place was sold and went down hill fast. My daughter tried to call into the store the other day while sitting outside. There were several people that later she identified as the new employees standing around and no one answered the phone. She then went in and asked about a product to the person standing behind the counter at the cash register (who was on his cell phone) he said he didn’t work there. She then went back and found two large bag of dog food and struggled with getting them up front. She then asked another individual to help her take them outside. I am in the high risk category due to some medical conditions and we will no longer be able to come back without curbside service. This is unfortunate as the previous owners kept us coming back with the amazing customer service which is usually lacking at the big hardware store chains and now this one too.

Went in searching for some fine thread bolts I wasn’t sure I’d find. And older gentleman was very hard pressed to make I sure I got what I needed and he found everything! Very nice and helpful employees.

We had an incident where we rented the rototiller and our vehicle was damaged because the employee refused to do a team-lift into our minivan. When my wife pointed out the damage to the employee, his response was, well, it is hard to put a rototiller in the back of a minivan. He did at least document the damage and said a manager would call us the next day. When nobody had called, I called the store and the manager ask that we come in to speak to the store manager. I went into the store where I was met with by Smokey. He said, I cant believe youd even show up at this store. Followed by, I suggest you leave the store and never come back. I had not even requested the damage be repaired. My expectation was to at least get an apology and maybe implement a policy of 2-person lifting of heavy objects into vehicles. Ace Hardware stores are franchises, so I called their corporate office to inform them of the occurrence. This is actually the second time we have had this happen to us from Ace Hardware. The first time, I just brushed it off. The unfortunate thing is that the employees here are really helpful and great. But, their ownership needs to take a customer service 101 course.

Stores clean employees are nice Ive had a key cut here that did not work I bought nuts and bolts from here the stainless steel ones are good will go back hopefully theres something they could do about the tea that they cut that didnt work I dont have the receipt though

I really appreciate the owners (Husband & Wife) personal service. They gave me a great deal on a top of the line barbeque grill...(was about $250 cheaper than even online deals), plus free grill cover and 20% off all accessories...delivered within the hour and made sure my natural gas connections were properly fitted.To me, this store typifies the great American entrepreneurial spirit. Customer Service is almost nonexistent. I was looking for weatherstripping for a door jamb. The young man that I had to go track down, actually said “I don’t know anything about that” and did not offer any additional assistance. Then I left the store.

It was cheaper than any other rental place in town for a moving van but I was charged for a bigger truck than what I received. Charged for a 24ft and got a 16ft so I had to make another trip which added 50 miles and almost that much in cost. The associate said there was nothing he could do about it since I already reserved it, even though my reservation was for the bigger van. The truck did the job and the other workers are amazing but I would recommend checking the truck size before you leave the lot

Visited to buy paint brushes. Male employee kep watching us by w continuously walking past the isle we were in. I thought it was creepy. Then when my husband and I walked into the main isle on our way to check out, there stood the cashier. Thats when I became very offended as I realized they had been watching us. That will be the last time I step foot into this business.

Buyer beware. You really need to watch their pricing. I got two propane tanks filled there and when paying, their price per gallon was 64% higher than the Tractor Supply just down the road. I checked the price for a can of WD-40 lubricant and their price was 186% higher than an autoparts store just a few blocks away. With crazy rip-off pricing like this, this Ace just lost what was a fairly loyal customer.
