I would give 0 stars if that was an option. Paid thousands of dollars for landscaping that was guaranteed. About 20% of the plants died. We called 8 times and drove over to the store 3 times and couldnt get them to honor the guarantee. The store manager finally agreed to come over and look at all the dead plants, and then he actually stood us up! He has not returned follow-up calls. Looking at the reviews, Im guessing the people who are happy with McCammons are those who purchased annuals. Of course, not much can go wrong with annuals!

Super knowledgeable staff and great sale prices. Today was fall fest with BBQ, live music, 50% off plants and 25% off inside the store. Even had pumkin cakes, cookies, and real pumpkins for sale. Their mums are huge! Everyone is so nice!

Visited this plant nursery / garden shop for the first time today. Nice varieties of flowers, trees, foliage plants, and indoor and outdoor plants. Very helpful and knowledgeable employees. Prices are not inexpensive, so you are paying for all these benefits, but on the other hand it makes it nice 1-stop shopping trip to get what you need. Would return. 🙂

I wanted to buy a couple of nice trees for my daughters new 🏡 home. The McCammons had a huge and healthy selection. Maddie was so very knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Last year I paid for a warranty for 2 trees. They died. I purchased the warranty and had them installed by your company. Was later told they were installed too close together. They were out of what I had purchased so I bought another kind of tree. 45 min later they decided what I owed for the different and I paid. Was later told the price I paid was incorrect and needed to pay more. NEVER AGAINThis was my second trip there to get this done I would definitely not recommend this placsettled

Don’t come here if you’re new to plants. Not a single one of the MULTIPLE workers here asked us (my wife and I) if we needed help (of course the old ladies directly by us were well taken care of) and when we would ask for prices or any other information, the workers appeared annoyed that we would do such a thing. Definitely will be finding a more inclusive business to spend our money at.

We had a budget of $1500 to$2000. We were told that budget was durable. No problem. When we recieved our quote it was going to be$3000. We quested the quote that is when we were told that the landscapers do not come for less than $3000. Why is this quote not posted or given before you wasted our time. Bait and Switch?

I called McCammons after a botched landscape install by a well known contractor in Carmel. Gary and Bob came out and took a look and came up with a plan to fix and finish my yard. All I can say is WOW! Bob was like a painter with a blank canvas. He brought numerous plants for me to choose and he positioned each one so I would have continuous color all seasons while he educated me on each plant and its care. I would highly recommend McCammons. They are professional, courteous and very knowledgeable along with reasonable prices. No price gouging here. These guys are good. Plan ahead to book with them because they are super busy but if you can get them, do it. You wont regret the results! This is only a partial view of my yard. They are coming back to do a water feature.

We became acquainted with McCammons Irish Market late in the spring when we bought hanging baskets from the McCammons Brownsburg store - the hangers proved and continue to be healthy and vibrant. We live in Fishers, but will continue to travel to McCammons for our baskets. We recently hired McCammons to prepare and implement a landscape plan for our home. We could not be more pleased. The McCammons crew were stellar - friendly and efficient. Bob from McCammons came out to our home and met with us to discuss our landscaping plan and what we wanted to achieve. A few days later we had a well thought out plan. McCammons pricing was more than reasonable compared to other landscape companies that we contacted who offered much less at the same price point. Our landscaping is now in and all looks great! We highly recommend McCammons for both the quality (and variety) of their plants and their landscaping services.

Purchased hundreds of dollars of nursery items at one time including tree’s. Was told twice that Cherry tree did not require second tree for pollination. Planted and left informational tag on tree . I ended up in hospital and did not pull tag for few weeks. At which time I discovered researching the particular type of Cherry (that sales lady steered me to) it needed pollinator . Called and after leaving three messages with three people claiming they were managers, no return calls as promised. So called 4th time and she did get back with us. Their lousy offer to make this right was for us to buy another tree from them at 40% off. So they have lost ZERO, we would have to crowd in a second tree in our yard, now during dry hot period, not happy. His reputation preceded him from another state where his business practices were not good. Now upon reading reviews here I realize this high priced place is not knowledgeable of what they sell….nor do they care. Before spending money here please check all these reviews and make a sound decision. Lowe’s in Greenwood has a great guy there who knows his plants and trees for much less money, money back guarantee, more expertise with plants etc., and now our experience sealed it for us! McCAMMON’S will not make things right! We will never shop there again. We told manager we would rather leave a review than buy another tree. She said that was “perfectly fine with McCAMMON’S ”! What customer service!!!! BEWARE BEFORE YOU BUY AT McCAMMON’S!! They will tell you whatever to complete a sale!

We have been buying our Christmas trees from them for a while now, Always beautiful and very pleased. This year has been a different story. After a purchase of over 250.00 - we have been very unhappy. First delivery and set up was not great. The guys that delivered and set up didn’t speak much English and my husband and I ended up tightening the tree and making it straight in the Christmas tree stand. Then less then 3 weeks we have a a big brown tree..... so disappointing. I called the store to ask what I could do to maybe help the tree last until Christmas and was told she would call me back, after several hours I called the store back to get told the owner said “it happens” Really????? We check the water daily on our tree and follow directions on the Tree life they sell you. I was told nothing to help. I was not asking for my money back nor an replacement. Will not be back.

McCammons Irish Market is located near the heart of Greenwood right off of 135 and Fry road and has the widest variety of annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs in Indianapolis. The garden center also has a landscaping division that plants trees, shrubs, and perennials at affordable rates. All of the nursery items also have a one year warranty. Great place with great customer service, would recommend to any first time or long time garden lover.

I had an appointment with McCammons on July 1 and it was canceled and then I had another appointment January 8 at 8:30 in the morning to have landscaping done. They did not show up again and didn’t call.Their customer service is unsatisfactory. I will never contract with them again.

Just got back from McCammons in Greenwood where I bought a Christmas tree and other greenery. What a delightful shopping experience! The trees, wreaths, and roping were very fresh. You may pay a little more than the trees at the big box hardware stores but you cant beat the quality...and the free delivery. Yes, I said FREE delivery!The staff was excellent and ready to help me right away...sorry I didnt get her name but there was a sweet, smart, and extremely helpful young lady who helped me pick out a tree and helped me with my greenery. Given how hard things have been this year, this trip wad one of the bright spots!

Hanging baskets died within weeks. No customer service. Seemed like ‘we have commercials we don’t need to stand behind our product”. Shop there for ideas but buy elsewhere !

My landscaping project was completed/planted today. The 4-man crew was excellent!!! They cleaned up as they went, were very thorough, efficient, and paid attention to detail by adjusting & measuring spacing, etc. and made sure it was exactly how I wanted it. At the end everything was sprayed down including the rocks to rinse off the dust. You cannot tell they were here today (no mess at all). Fabulous work!

Great selection however their installation is not good. I would not use them to install trees.

Great plant & shrub store. As summer comes to close, all plants are 25% off. They have a great selection of fertilizers & soil ammendments. Reminds me of the old feed & seed stores. Prices are competitive.

The only reason I would even give this place a 2 is because of an employee named Kelly. The owner couldnt be bothered with returning my calls for 3 weeks before I gave up. I did stop in and spoke with Kelly, and she was informative, kind, and very knowledgeable. I shopped here for the first time this year, and spent thousands before I realized they dont guarantee most of what they sell. If you go here, i would advise you speak to Kelly before making a purchase.

Bought a new tree from the Brownsburg store, had McCammons come out and plant it because if they do it, they guarantee the tree for a year. The workers decided my old tree stump and roots needed to come out and had it all removed before I got home. Then they put mulch around the new tree too. Looks like it’s always been there. Super good job!

McCammons did a fantasic job with our landscaping job. Their landscapers Mr. Ramirez and his crew were absolutely wonderful went above and beyond!! Highly recommend.... We definitely will be using them again for our next landscaping job.

We are more than pleased with the landscaping Mccammons did for us. The men were very polite and courteous and hard working. They cleaned up everything when they were finished and answered any questions we had. The twinkle in my wife’s eyes when she saw everything finished was worth every penny we spent!

I was very disappointed in our experience with McCammons. We scheduled a free digital estimate with McCammons. At the time scheduled for the estimate, he was late. He did not call/text, etc. My husband and I called to see if they had forgotten our appointment and the sales associate said that she would find out. He did call after awhile and said that his first estimate ran over which we understood. When he did arrive, he talked with us about things we wanted. My husband and I were expecting some sort of presentation of plants, landscaping ideas, etc. of what McCammons has to offer. He took few pictures, we told him things we wanted for sure, and he left. He said that he would meet with us that next Tuesday (probably) in a few days to set up an appointment to go over the estimate, digital pictures, and landscaping. He said that he would call to confirm either way. He did not call us to confirm the appointment. My husband and I had to call McCammons to see if we were still meeting with him. He called after a couple of days and confirmed it, after we had to call. When he arrived, he was late, again. He came with digital pictures of one idea. Also, he had forgotten to change the pavers that we already have. It would have been nice to have some sort of way to look at other options of plants, flowers, etc. After he said the price, we said that we would discuss our decision. He continued to say that if he took our deposit, he would get it scheduled. Again, we said that we would discuss it. He said that he would call us at the end of that week to get our decision. He never called. He seemed irritated after we said that we were going to discuss our decision. For the amount of money they quoted us, we were not impressed by the work. Fortunately, we found someone else who took the time to find out what we wanted, has superior customer service, and for an amount that is very reasonable.

Had some bags of mulch delivered from McCammons. The price for the mulch was great and the delivery was free! I assume they are really busy right now because they had to schedule me a few days out for delivery, which was no problem. Very friendly service by the woman on the phone and also the delivery guys. Will order from them again!

Buyer beware!! Gary Ward, the owner, is threatening, unreasonable, and tried to collect additional money from us after our landscaping was finished and paid for. We hired McCammon’s to landscape our home in November of 2020. After settling on a price, paying for the service, and the service was complete, he claimed we owed $1000 more than the agreed amount. Gary belittled his staff and claimed his employees can’t count or estimate correctly. While speaking to him on the phone, he told me to “shut my mouth” and threatened to put a lean on my property. This was a complete nightmare!

Picked out trees, purchased and labeled but day of delivery said 2 no longer available. Owner would not talk on phone. They sent over 2 healthy trees and one short half dried out. Paid for install. They left all components on ball, with burlap, wire, rope, but then plastic on top. No water could penetrate through plastic. All started to die! We uncovered dirt to see the plastic and began to open up layers for water access. Total nightmare. The one that struggled finally died. Totally a mess . Paid for bad install and horrible customer service from owner.

I have been going to McCammons for two years now. They have a great selection of perennials and annuals. I frequently find new plants that I have never seen before! We recently requested some landscaping assistance from McCammons. The landscaping crew was quick to respond to our request. They were great at communicating time of arrival and thorough in their assessment of our landscaping request. Everyone at McCammons has been so friendly and knowledgeable about plants. We look forward to enjoying the plants that we have gotten from McCammons for years to come.

We bought a new house and inherited basically an orchard in our backyard. Bob, the Horticulturist, has been amazing helping us in properly taking care of our trees! Great prices, quality products, and outstanding service!

Mccammons Irish Market has such a great variety of plants, trees, and shrubs. They even have beautiful tropicals and indoor plants. Their expertise in gardening and landscaping is remarkable. Their knowledgeable staff can help answer any questions you may have.

This place has a great selection of plants but their marketing effort is a disaster.We drove up the Greenwood store this past Sunday because we saw a very well produced television ad promoting them. The ad went into great detail about what fertilizer to use at this time of year and recommended 3 products. When we got there we found not a single member of the staff had seen or was was aware of the television ad, none of the staff knew anything about the 3 products recommended in the ad and upon further inspection by the staff, none of the 3 products were recommended for fall application by the manufactures. The entire trip was a bust.

CHANGED FROM 2 1/2 TO FIVE STARS! I had the issue below as Ive had many times in the past with many companies. The difference is McCammons owner, Gary Ward actually checks his reviews and tries to make them right. Gary contacted me and apologized for the issue and sent a crew out two days later to resolve it. The guys that came out did a excellent job and I want to give a big shout out to Chris, the foreman who went out of his way to make us happy. Every business has their issues, but the ones that circle back around and attempt to make them right will always have and keep my business. I would highly recommend McCammons knowing the ownership is paying attention and cares about their customers.2 1/2 stars for half the job. We wanted our entire front redone. We called and a guy named Bob came out promptly. We talked, he took pictures, and said he would be back with a presentation. We had to call a couple of times, but Bob finally called back and set an appt. to come out. We are not good at picking things out and the pictures were great! Gave us an exact idea of what our house would look like with what Bob proposed. We thought they were pricey, but Bob was great to work with and we loved what he suggested and the plants were guaranteed for a year we signed the contract and set a date for them to come out. It was late October because we have to wait on the new driveway and walks to be put in. They came out and did a great job of putting everything in and mulching. We were very happy. Bob said he would be back out in the spring to see what didnt make it through the winter and to go over with us how to maintain the different plants so if the story ended there they would have gotten five stars. Spring came and I didnt hear from Bob so I started calling. I called once a week, then twice a week, and then everyday until finally Bob called back late June and said he would be out. I started calling after two weeks again and no return calls. Started calling everyday and Bob finally text me he would be out and did show up. No apologies or anything. I told him I just wanted them to do what they said they would do. He said he would get the replacement plants for the ones that died and have the guys come out and replace them. That was mid July. August 13th after several more phone calls the guys showed up and replaced plants. They were missing three plants and said they would be back to replace them. We pointed out that more plants had died since we had talked to Bob and they said they would get with him and they would get them replaced. In September my wife got involved and started calling Bob since we were bumping up on our one year replacement plus we wanted the plants to have a chance to root before winter. She had the same experience as me. I finally got a text from Bob asking me to take a picture of what was dead and he would get it taken care of. I sent the pictures Sept 21st and on Sept 22nd confirmed with a text from him that he had received them. My wife has continued to call and email through the website and we have gotten no response. We have thrown in the towel at this point and they get no stars for the back half of what was promised. We will not be back.

We spent around 500 bucks here on plants because they had what we were looking for. Every time Ive ever bought plants, they are guaranteed for a year not to die. We had a two plants go belly-up out of the large lot about 10 days later, and when we tried to get replacements, they told us no returns because covid. So they are using covid as an excuse to not back their products. So beware, you may as well buy plants at home depot because these people wont back their stuff.

I cant say enough good things about Kelly at McCammons. I have purchased a lot of trees, bushes and annuals at McCammons over the past several years, but I was most impressed this year with Kellys knowledge of all the trees and shrubs that they carry. She really wants to help you find what will work for your exact location, and she also likes to educate you on the product that you are purchasing. Now when I go to McCammons, I search for Kelly right away because I know she likes to help her customers, and she is very knowledgeable about their inventory. Its very hard to find good customer service these days, but you can tell Kelly really cares about her customers and enjoys the type of work she does. Thanks for all your help Kelly!

McCammons is a great plant nursery! They have everything you could want and if not Im sure they would order it for you. The staff are so nice and friendly. And extremely helpful !! If you dont have much plant experience this place is great ! And if you do have plant experience, its still great! :) I highly recommend it. But if you dont believe me stop by and check it out for yourself !!!

It was expensive. Didnt have any vegetable plants. Did have a lot of nice decorative plants. Pricing was not well marked. Great place if money is no object and you dont want plants for a vegetable garden.

I will attest to the fact that the owner Garry does treat the employees poorly. He likes to belittle his employees. I guess it makes him feel good to make others feel small. He sets a higher standard for his employees than he does for himself. For example. Shortly after I started working there he invited My girlfriend and I to meet him so I could sit in with his friends band at the Moose lodge. We showed up no Garry, no phone call, didnt answer his phone. Nobody was told I would be there..Monday I asked him and he laughed and said he got drunk. No appology. Thats the amount of respect I got. But I was expected to work long hours and keep him informed. The truck that I drove at work had a front tire that was dry rotted and splitting. I was concerned about the safety. Informed him numerous times. All I got was lip service never fixed. I could go on and on. He sent me a strong message. Does he respect me. No. Does he care about my safety. No. He did loan me money once which I paid back. I think he needs to go over the golden rule.

Good variety of plants and all look healthy. Plenty of folks to answer questions and help with loading plants into vehicles.

Staff was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their product line. However, the gentleman that owns the place would be well-served in developing a sense of self-awareness. If anyone talked to me the way he addresses his staff, they would be missing teeth.

I cant rave enough about the excellent service and care that came out of McCammons. I was treated with warmth and caring, all of my ideas were listened to and put into action, and, the end result was BEAUTIFUL!! I cant believe it took me this long to find someone who understands my vision and still has a great knowledge of what can and cannot be done based on my landscape challenges. Buyer BEWARE!!They do not stand behind the quality of their plants. I had a tree die within 6 weeks of purchase after following the directions set by the horticulturist. I showed them pictures of my dead tree and they said they could not do anything for me and they do not offer a warranty.I prefer to shop local and support family businesses, but this company is horrible to work with. Last year I purchased my Christmas Tree from here and thought it was a one off experience that it dried up so quickly, but I now know that it is just the quality of the business.Go to Lowes or Home Depot, they offer a 1 year warranty on their trees.

We reached out to you February in time for your prescedule March sale to get an estimate for a large landscaping project. The first guy that you assigned to come write the estimate didnt show on March 2nd and you rescheduled with an older gentleman who allegedly is your best landscape designer ( why would you not send us your best right off the bat?) . When he showed up March 9th not only did he make us feel that our project was nothing more than a bother to him and in fact he spent more time on his phone speaking with other people & clients about plants and trees being shipped and delivered than he did speaking with my wife and I. A good business decision would be to send the calls incoming to voice mail and not make follow up calls on your own while you are attempting to gain a new customer. He made us feel like we where a huge bother to him. Our budget is in the $5000. 00 range. He confirmed my email address and said he would send me a quote and design by Monday. That was March 9th. Its now April 6th.Its been a month, someone should have had ample time to contact us and provide the estimate.Moving forward lets just say I am not the least bit impressed with your business model or how you handle customer service. I wouldnt let you plant dandelions in our yard at this point, you are fired!

I have been purchasing summer plants at McCammon’s for about 5 years now. The sales associates are always very helpful & knowledgeable! If by chance, one of them doesn’t know an answer to a question, she/he will radio another associate to find out. McCammon’s carries a wide variety of plants. I love it that they provide coupons as well! My favorite place for flower shopping!

First time getting a real Christmas tree for our family! I LOVED this place! The staff was sooo friendly and helpful, the selections were beautiful, and I couldn’t be happier with my tree! Then to top it off, FREE same day delivery! Totally made my weekend!

I wish I could give less than 1 star. We got an estimate for some landscaping work and paid the deposit. No call no show on the scheduled day. Next day my wife goes into the business to inquire. The owner was very rude. My wife decided to ask for a refund and the owner said it would cost $250 to cancel. She explained that since no one showed the would not be happening. The man flipped and became very aggressive and got so close to my wife’s face she could have bit his nose. Not cool! The Greenwood Police were called. We got our full refund. The officer said they have gotten many calls about this place of business. Also found many reports on Better Business Bureau site. Beware the man is an aggressive bully.
