I went in to find a game for beginners never having played video games. I also let the sales person know this. I bought a Nintendo lite with A Super Mario 3D all stars game. Total came to 275.00. I asked about return policy and understood there would be little to no problem. I tried the game and encountered frustration. Obviously I needed a teenager at home. I decided to bring it back and was told I could get a refund of 100. for the switch lite and 24.00 for the game card. So Id only lose 150.00. I decided maybe I could get more money selling it myself. Hopefully. This is so unfair. If you cannot return games for a full refund --that should be made clear especially to a novice like myself. I feel I was taken advantage of here. Not at all happy with this place and their customer service.

The employees of this GameStop was really nice to me and my mom, people like this deserve better recondition.

Doors were locked around 3:15 PM with lights on, no employees seen. no answer when i called the store either. 🤨

Went to this gamestop looking for a particular game that I couldnt find anywhere else and found it! Brand new at a very reasonable price! The associate i dealt with Kaitlin (i believe this was her name). She was very nice and friendly. She also answered a few questions that I had about the game. She was very knowledgeable about the game. Will buy future games from this store.

Went in to get some games, pulled the cases, and brought them up. Clerk rang them, and said they were sold out, but gamestop makes them have cases for popular games even if they dont have them. Which is RIDICULOUS.

What can I say its gamestop..

They had a great selection of preowned games and new games, but as we were looking at a game to buy it the man came over with a rude tone and said “just so you know you have 3 minutes left” and I said ok no problem, put the game back and left. It made me feel uncomfortable and I don’t know if I would want to go back.

The several times I was there the workers were all friendly and willing to help. The store was clean and well organized. They had a decent selection of have for all platforms. Plus they had a nice selection of Pop Vinyl and other collectables.

I came in about 3 days ago & got a copy of GTA5 for my roommates. I forgot to check the disk in store & they didnt bother. The disk was so scratched it wont let us install the V1.27 online update.. I took the disk back today & they gave me another copy, I asked to look at the disk first this time, not to my surprise it was even more scratched than the one I just returned.. I asked the employee to give me another copy but he said that was the only one left in the store (which Im sure was BS). I did pay the extra $1 for the warranty so I guess Im going to make them order me a (hopefully) working copy.. My main complaint is that these guys are not even supposed to buy used games from people if they look scratched or damaged, so why arent they doing there job??

Staff there was great. Couple of laughs and great deals by employees. Would highly recommend.

We came here for my sons birthday. The workers were not very. Christin told my son that she would holler at him to tell him what his trade ins were worth... didnt happen. Customer service lessons for all people definitely needed!

Placed an online order so I could pick it up at the door like it said I could....called numerous times with no answer. If you say you’re going to do something than do it.

I came here on Black Friday to do a trade in for a PS4 Pro. The guy asked if a pre-owned was okay, and i said yes. I told him the disc drive button didnt work and a clip was broken on the hard drive cover. He said it was fine, but then looked it over and said he wouldnt take it because the damage credits he would have to take off would be excessive, which was ridiculous because there was a 25 bonus when you trade in for a better model. I took it to the one in Taylors and WEIRDLY ENOUGH not only did she accept it, my total trade in was 125 towards a brand new PS4 with the $50 gift card, and RDR2 for only a little more than the preowned. Gamestop, im sorry your heavy bearded manager here in Greer doesnt like taking money at that store, but no worries, the one in Taylors has great customer service and friendly staff.

This has been the 2nd best game stop Ive been to, and Ive been to quite a lot around the state. The best one either moved or closed down years.The first time I saw A Game Stop was in Spartanburg, SC. There were only 2 stores we knew that were all about video games, Game Cavern which is still in Taylors and Fun Co. Land in Spartanburg. They sold everything from Atari to the newest systems. But then they disappeared and then Game Stop immediately was there. So I assume its possible game stop either just used to have a different name, or either they bought them or something.This game stop hasnt given me any problems and Ive gone here over 10 years
