I have always enjoyed going to JoAnns the employees are nice. Sometimes when you ask where something is located it might end up being an adventure locating it but in the end it works out.

And love going to Joanns so much to do in there so much to look at and like taking my sister because she can walk around slow and not have to hurry and Pretty much everything is coupon or on sale and the people that work there are very helpful and very considerate and understanding even if the phone doesnt work phone doesnt work love Joannes Sofia Gonzales

As a guy that has never steps foot in this store. I was a little confused and overwhelmed. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. 45 sec after I walked in and realized Im way out of my Element I realized that a store associate wassociate was 20 away. I quickly asked her for what I described as a curved hook 🪝lol .She said a few names then she said is it for repairing future. I said YES! She quickly said go to isle 24 look towards the bottom of the shelf halfway down the aisle on the left. Like she new I would totally get lost. Yep even with those instructions I am now overwhelmed again. 1 min pass and a different associate walks down the the same isles Im on and wow thank God. I quickly stop her and ask for the curve needles. She reaches down to the bottom of the are just like the first gal said and hands me the product. I know this is a long story but I just got to say thank you ladies for making me not feel dumb or out of place. I do love shopping at a place that has amazing customers service but better yet pride in working is so much better. Great work. Ill be back.

Honestly just because we do not fit the stereotype crafty type of people doesn’t mean we wouldn’t like to purchase things to start a hobby, it is very rude to treat a customer the way we were treated ! We were followed around isle to isle, employees always seem to end up fixing anything on the shelves of the isles we were at ! Not once did we feel welcome at this location, so we purchased a few things and left to shop at another store .

Went to crafts warehouse for lace. They didnt have any looked at several other places, same result. Went to Joanns fabrics and found yards and yards to choose from. Reasonably priced at least I thought then discovered it was on sale. Really pleased.

Great stuff for crafts and some good deals, but most of the stuff there is overpriced...

Picked up an online order and a pick-up in-store order at the same time, without incident, but either/both have been an issue on other occasions. Tried to find flat wire to make masks but they were out; store has big theft issues, it looks like. Covid precautions raise an eyebrow, though. Would be hard-pressed to imagine flimsier corporate support for employees and customers. Divider screens at checkout desks are jankily masking-taped to wood rods and sit precariously on the counter. Maintaining social distance is barely hinted at.

Cute stuff, can be pricey

Great place. Decent prices. The only place in outer Portland/Gresham to find a large array of fabrics. They also carry lots of craft and jewelry making products and offer discounts via ads/coupons to save money. Also many things clearanced everytime I go, so even better prices. Highly recommend a a visit!

This is my number one spot for everything crafts. I have a huge jewelry project, lets go to JoAnns. I have a baby blanket I need to make but dont have fabric? Lets go to JoAnns. They are amazing for whatever crafty project you need. Not to mention, their bead selection is amazing.

Fabric prices and selections are good if you use the coupons. If its not on sale or it doesnt have a coupon things are much cheaper other places. Some of the staff is nice, but some of the older gals that work there are a bit elitist if you dont know much about crafts or what items go together.

A fair amount of arts and crafts items, plus a bunch of fabrics that are pretty spendy. But their selection is nice.

Love this place! They have a large selection of fabric. Last time I was there the cutting line was very long, but the workers were great! They got thru that line pretty quickly! The employees were very friendly. I found exactly what I needed. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Very lazy and rude young cashiers, not a good visit. Im 56 years old, instead of them taking that extra step in customer service and respect, I basically had to wait in line for cashier just to be told I had to wait in another line. Ive had much better service during day time then night.

Employees are very unhelpful. Shelves are poorly stocked. I was looking for iron on micky mouse decal. Inventory in that area was non existent.

Well organized and blessedly open during the pandemic. Sanitizer by the door, and remember your mask, otherwise its fairly business as usual. Fun staff and plenty of selection. They still have fat quarters last time I was in, which was much appreciated.

Best selection of fabrics out of all the Joanns Ive been to in the past few weeks. Very conscious about social distancing guidelines. Super cool dog on their staff wandering around letting people pet them! Cynder was the highlight of the trip.

Love that place

A friend and I went there for the first time. We wete excited to go from what we had heard. Prices were much higher than we expected. After looking around for 15 mins, we had 2 things to purchase that were on sale and went to get in line. There was one checker and 9 people ahead of me. I laid the stuff down and left.

Ridiculous, they say they price match, thats a lie, I found a 7-piece set of canvas for painting at Joann and then the same set same size of canvas at Michaels and they werent the exact same label because it was Jo-Anns own artist company made for them and Michaels is artists loft thats made for them so unfortunately they wouldnt price match same type of canvas same size same seven-piece pack off brand and they wouldnt price match me, And the customer service was ridiculous they didnt know what was on sale why everything wasnt coming off and it took me a good 25 minutes to check out with some canvas some candles and some paints.

For those of us that want to shop at Joanns that are disabled and unable to walk, I wish they would have a couple of mobility chairs. Ive been diabled since 2005. Im elderly but would like to go out. Because their lacking this is the reason why the low rating. The store otherwise was clean and tidy.

Always my favorite go to spot. Lots of new and different things to enjoy each and every time I go. Each month has a whole new variety for that particular holiday or special season!

Always a nice store with helpful staff and kept clean and organized. The cashiers often will ask if you have their store app downloaded as well and have been very patient when I’ve forgotten to pull it up and prepare coupons. Definitely enjoy shopping at this store.

This is a great Jo Ann Fabrics location. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. They also made sure to ask if I needed help finding anything and made sure that I left with coupons and information on the summer classes that they are currently offering.

I love this store. For my personal and classroom crafting, Joanns coupons and excellent sales help me to really enjoy my life. This store is good, its small though. Eastport is my favorite one.

If youre into sewing, the best place in Gresham for fabric and notions is Joanns. Im a remnant junkie myself, and they always provide. They have supplies for other crafts, too, but I primarily think of Joanns when I think of sewing. The store is accessible, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Wonderful shopping spot for a good selection of fabrics & sewing notions. Be sure to get a sale flyer as theres always a sale there of one sort or another. I get confused by their multitude of different ones to the point that I wish theyd just lower their everyday prices & forget the continual, endless, scattered, sale postings. Other than the disjointed craziness of their advertised sales, good store with experienced, knowledgeable staff.

I love the staff at this store. They are always very kind, and are willing to help me find what I am looking for - sometimes even suggesting a better choice, which turns out to be a great suggestion. I have even called and asked for advice about a fabric I found at Joanns online to see if the weight and texture were what I wanted for what I am making. Seriously, this staff is the best.

Customer service was great. Being a guy I didnt know squat about what my wife sent me in there for, but the friendly employees got me what she needed and me outta the store before anyone I knew seen me in there.

I purchase most if not all of my fabric from Joann’s. The store is tidy and easy to navigate through. The only downfall Ive experienced is not enough people at the cutting table and it gets hard to track someone down when needing fabric cut. Overall great place to shop and love there sales.

I dont usually like going to these kinds of stores but my husband needed some things to get a Halloween costume together for his work party. The staff and customers were so much fun that I really enjoyed myself and I am looking forward to going back! They had everything we needed for a one stop shop!!!

The cashier lady was really friendly. She kept apologizing even though it wasnt her fault. I bought about 10 items that were on 80% clearance and they were ringing up regular price so it look longer to go back and give me the discounted items. I told her it wasnt her fault. I notice a lot of stores arent putting in the discounts there supposed to be doing cause customers dont always pay attention at the cash register. She felt bad and she kept apologizing to the people behind me.

Couldnt find any of the fabrics I was looking for. Their app isnt true to inventory.

Always really friendly and helpful staff- I had some specific items that I just couldnt find, and one of the gals helped me locate all of them! The app is really great for coupons and price checking, but I wish it had aisle locations like some of the other stores to make finding things easier.

Love this store. So much cool crafting stuff, I almost forgot I came to buy yarn. Found a product called Finger Yarn. Apparently you dont need a hook or needles to use it--just your fingers. Didnt buy any but I found it intriguing.

Very nice assortment of crafting items and commercial fabrics. Not as vast of a selection of fabrics as Fabric Depot, however. The staff doesnt seem to be very attentive to the customers and more interested in their own personal matters.
