This shop (under its current and various past ownership/names) has ALWAYS provided a super excellent service. The odd part is its affordable too! Theyve serviced an RV and 4 other vehicles of mine over the years. Never once had a problem with anything they fixed. As long as those doors are open Im a customer.

I needed to have my brakes checked on short notice and they were able to get me in the same day. I only needed half the work done another shop said i needed and it only cost me a third. I had reservations but they got the job done and im pleased with their work. Oh, they forgot to tell me when my car was finished but for the price and quality of work, what s the big deal?

Went to these guys and was given a quote of 250.00. No communication no phone call that my car was done. I called and they said oh by the way your bill is 460.00 and I was not happy. It wasnt necessarily the money but when you quote someone a price you dont change it without asking them. Not good guys communication is very important when doing service. Was going to take all my other cars there but now I will go somewhere else.

Jeff and Miguel at Brake Team-Gresham are good guys who know what theyre doing. Ive been taking my cars to them for three years now and theyve been great. Recently, when I had an issue (the first ever) they did everything they could to fix it and keep me a customer. And it worked. Im still a happy customer and will continue to be. Thank you!

Better Brakes 4 less gets an A for honesty as well as friendly and professional. Overall cost is fair.. Ive had brakes and rotors done for a 2005 Hyundai Sonata as well as my 2005 F150 .....( along with oil changes.) Highly recommended. Service was completed relatively quickly (in and out 3 hours?) both visits. Time to drive in the mountains since my brakes are good !

My mother has been taking her vehicle to Brake Team for a very long time, and now I understand why! I had the pleasure of taking her to get her vehicle looked at today. James Fella was so helpful and made sure he reviewed her information and called her back soon after, letting her know that it was an easy fix for her over heating issue and that her fan was still under warranty! YAY! The work was done quickly and correctly and was able to pick the car up around 5.Since they treated my mother so well I decided to ask for a quote on a diagnosis for my recently bought car (had a cracking noise in the driver front wheel). To my surprise he was more then willing to have Miguel Luis take it for a drive to see what it was. When they werent sure what it was, they took the time to lift my car and take a look. SO GLAD THEY DID! Apparently was missing a nut AND an entire bolt that held on the tire! They both went OVER AND BEYOND in helping remedy the issue, still with no cost. I will be calling this my cars doctor from now on!AMAZING SERVICE! THANK YOU!

Took my car in for new brakes and needed to have some sensors replaced too. Travis called and communicated with me so I knew what to expect. I understand that when you take a car in for repairs other things come up and quotes can change, although its frustrating I am so appreciative that they took the time to make sure my car was safe to drive. I have another car that needs to have some work done and I will be taking it back to them. They have GREAT customer service and I highly recommend Better Brakes 4 Less.

Just to start off, this is not a big corporation.. this is a local business. The place that was owned previously here were big time scammers.. then came along Better Brakes & Car Repair. First off, the owner was very friendly, funny, and a good knowledgeable person that you could trust with your car and to give you the correct advice on whats going on with your vehicle. They always will try to help you save money, and charge you the lowest price that they can. The team here is amazing, fast, and reliable. McDonalds is right next door as well as Walmart, Safeway, Sharis, Walgreens, and some Teriyaki place I still need to try. Whatever is going on with your car, theres plenty of places to walk to and grab some needed groceries, snack, ice cream, or just to pass the time.The owners are great and reliable always.. 11/10! Worst shop Ive ever taken my car to. First off, I was quoted one price but when I went to pick up my car they had added an additional $100 onto my bill, for an additional part without even getting my approval. When I had got my car back, I realized my service engine light was still on. I had to take my car to another shop, pay for another diagnostic, just to find out I had a bad alternator and belt. Why would you charge someone for a diagnostics and not tell them everything thats wrong with their car?!? On top of that, payed for a tune up and they didnt even change my oil. These people will never get my business again.

The wait time was very minimal after the point I handed my keys off for new brakes they were back in my hand just after 1 hour and while waiting in the brakes they changed my oil and filter. They explained what it would cost before any work and had amazing attitude towards me and the job, highly recommended.

Such a great place wont go anywhere else for car repairs. They fixed my clutch, and brakes at such a good price. I even get my oil changes here. Thx better breaks for less for keeping my 300, 000 mile car on the road.

Great guys who go above and beyond. Many times they have done stuff without charging us when any other place would gut you for their time. They check stuff out and give advice and tell you if it is a problem that needs attention now or if you can wait. The only honest company we have dealt with.

Truly excellent service! After trying repair shops from Hillsboro to Gresham, it’s a real pleasure to finally find a mechanic I can trust. Went in expecting to pay the big bucks for a new catalytic converter but Jake and his team diagnosed the problem and saved me over $1,000. He used manufacture original parts and when the parts were delayed an extra day, he picked up the car rental costs. It’s a great pleasure to find a team with true integrity.

Very good place to get service! When I need an oil change for the car, I just stop in and they get to it within 10 minutes, maximum. And unlike Jiffy Lube, if you dont have a oil leak, they dont tell you and put it on your reciept that you do. If you honestly do have a oil leak, they will tell/show you, not just say you do. The price is very fair also. I recommend this shop highly should you be in east county and find your car needs a service.

I came in around 9:30ish and the door was open but when I walked up the the counter no one was in sight so I decided to yell out a HELLO?! i got no answer and i even tried calling the phone to see if anyone would come out but no one did

Failed DEQ so pulled right into the shop which is literally right next to DEQ. They offer $38 diagnosis so you can find out why you failed and how to fix. I got an estimate on the repair which I could not afford right away, but John was very helpful and gave me a few tips on how I could pass the deq test. Needless to say I passed with flying colors and was able to get my new tags!!! Im getting my oil changed there today!

These guys are some stand-up dudes! They went into overdrive to repair a faulty front-disc brake (which would have certainly been the culprit in a nasty accident-waiting-to-happen); they charged me exactly what they quoted me & they went so far as to give me a lift to & from home (I live only a few blocks away & Im disabled)... Like I said: Stand-Up Dudes!

Dishonest and Expensive..... I brought my car here after hearing a metal to metal sound coming from my rear brakes. They quoted me a repair of $525 minimum. They said my right rear pads were fine, but my left rear pads were worn down to metal to metal. They told me a long explanation of what that meant, saying that my right side caliper stopped working all together and was no longer providing breaking power, so my left was doing all the work and wore out faster. It sounded very expensive so I held out even though they said it would be unsafe to drive and had brought the parts off my car into the office to show me (they wanted me to not leave the shop.)I looked around and in Gresham, for the same job I got quoted $280 and $240 from two other mechanics. When i told the other mechanic what the shop had told me, it was obvious that their explanation was either coming from someone who has no idea how breaks work, or from someone who was intentionally trying to rip me off. Either option is a bad one when talking about a mechanic, and I would advise everyone to avoid this shop. He then showed me directly in 30 seconds that the right side caliper (the one they said was broken) was working perfectly fine.What actually was wrong is my left side caliper seized, and the pad wore down because the caliper had the break locked up. This is very common and even with my limited knowledge was exactly what I thought was wrong before I brought it in. The Better Brakes 4 Less explanation above is not even possible. What they were trying to do was replace the right side caliper and then they would have said, after charging me $525 already, whoops, actually your left side caliper is bad too and tacked another $250 on.My car was fixed and is driving perfectly after paying $240.00 (with good parts) instead of the $525 minimum (or $775 after they finished ripping me off) I was quoted by Better Brakes 4 Less. These positive reviews must be from the shop itself, or unfortunately from people who didnt realize they were getting ripped it.

Gave estimated quote of 300.00 to Install my rotors, pads, shocks, and steel lines. Called after I dropped the truck off and told me he looked it up in his book and it was just over 900.00. A brake shop that does brakes every day should not be that far off on an estimate. Took it to Midas on Burnside and paid 550.00 for everything installed out the door.

Good customer service, but I had my breaks done a couple months ago have taken it in once already and my breaks are still HORRIBLY squeaky 😑 even though they are brand new...

$328 for front brakes and rotors! Think i will do it myself thank you...

So this company is way too high on mark ups i found the part they are selling me for 200 and change i found for 58 and they refuse to install any part that they cannot mark up i would not use them.

Took my car here for brakes once and it wouldnt start up after they were done. I had to push it in a neighboring empty parking lot. They were not sympathetic and didnt help push.
