Prices are getting so much higher everyday. I saw the same tool at Walmart for the fraction of the price....so dont play the price went up story. No longer the tool discount shop.

The quality of the tools has gotten better over the years. They do have COVID-19 restrictions in place, but the store is well lit and clean has always. On my visit last week, a staff member was going around disinfecting the display tools. There was only one cashier working as usual so expect a line

I can usually find what I need at a reasonable price, but was put-off recently by several employees who apparently dont understand how a face mask is supposed to be worn during these days of Covid.

Lines all the way back, the manager doesnt bother to open another line, just stands up there looking at the lines. After standing in line for over 20 minutes, they let us know no wagons in stock. So we just stood in line for nothing. Put a sign on out of stock items.

You cant go wrong with the 20% off coupon. Both locations are clean. Friendly cashiers and great store supervisors that are on the showroom floor assisting guests. The extended warranties are offered on most brands of power tools and other mechanical items found throughout the store are a great purchasing incentive. The rates are affordable, and like their ninety day return policy, the buyer should have a hassle free exchange or return contingent on the terms stated in the warranty and proof of purchase. An affordable place to shop and get the tools needed for that weekend project without breaking the bank. Lol, and if you happen to break the tool you can get it replaced if you were wise enough to purchase the extended warranty! #hinthint

I love this place! I come here often just to browse and get some project ideas...sort of like when I visit Lowe’s. There is always a coupon or other deal going on. Very organized set up, but if you need help, HF has a very knowledgeable staff - as far as where to find things.

Love the variety and pricing of items here. Have shop for years for many consumables and lower grade tools. Wish the staff were more knowledgeable. Wish they had fully stocked shelves

Tools are good for a one maybe two uses which for the price is good. But they never have change. They making all types of money out of everybody’s coins that they don’t have so they just take it.

Whens end to return some products that had been recalled due to some safety issues, we waited in line, the phone kept ringing multiple times, the cashier insisted on answering them, which wouldnt have been a problem if she hadnt been trying to also handle our return. She kept asking us questions, and we werent sure if she was talking to us or the person on the phone, and then when we would respond, she would hush us so she could ask the person on the phone a question. When she finally did hang up on the phone, she kept having conversations with other employees instead of helping the customers that were in line. The whole ordeal took over 20 minutes because she kept talking to other people instead of assisting us as if we were interrupting her day.

COVID 19 lines were long but moved fast. By the time I got in line it was empty. Prices are always cheaper than home depot and most products seem to work as good. I still wound up going to home depot because they didnt have Picture hangers

Always a great experience at this location. Walked in asked for what I was looking for and was pointed to it immediately. I needed a 1/2 inch breaker bar. Had a 20 percent off coupon so I recieved a nice discount. I also got an LED work light for FREE. Look forward to their ads, coupons and sales books in the mail. They have been a big part of me becoming more handy around my home.

I had bought a battery charger in Slidell and had to return it in Gretna. Rude unhelpful associate did exchange it but not without a fuss. I had to pay a .28 price difference from Slidell to Gretna. Took it out of the package and it didnt he work either. Returned it, was not greeted only told to get in the line with only one cashier and six people ahead of me. The line moved fairly along. Another cashier finally came to help and I got the rude cashier that I walked in to. Still no greeting or nicety only a blank, arrogant stare. I handed her my receipt and was told the register told her to give me a gift card bc it was the second time I had returned it to which I asked how could I have known I would get two bad battery charger at two different harbor freights to which I received a very annoyed look from the cashier and like it was my fault the merchandise was bad she tossed me my $60 back and didnt say anything as I left.I would totally enjoy going into to this place but having been in customer service myself I really believe you should give each customer at least a thank you

You need a tool for a particular purpose? They got it! I was thinking of renting a grinder at Home Depot for 4 hours for 30 bucks. The grinder at harbor freight was 45 bucks. I needed it grind down thinset and it worked perfectly. Will be doing my other bathroom soon and now I have the tools necessary.

Last visit I was amazing surprised by the improvements in the quality of merchandise that they now stock. Major improvement.....

Quality and Price You Cant Beat It.

Bought a drill. Had to bring a slip of paper to the cashier because the drills were locked up. Waited as the cashier tried to get her manager to unlock the case with the drills. The manager seemed put out and not in a hurry. Then I find out an employee went home with the only key and I was asked if I was in a hurry. After a bit I ask how far away the person with the key? And found out she was about 20 minutes away. I started to get really mad and the manager finally got off her butt and went to the back and found a drill for me and plopped it in front of me not saying a word to me or even looking at me. Why didnt she go look in the first place?I will say the cashier was very apologetic and she would be a better manager.

Everytime I go for an advertised sale, none of the items are available. Youd think they would be more accommodating with their supplies.

Helpful, friendly staff, very well organized and the prices cant be beat.I bought hundreds of dollars in power tools from Lowes last summer and Ive been mad for not knowing about Harbor Freight.

Got a drain snake for $199 and purchased the 50ft replacement cable. Connected it to the already 50ft making 100ft. Now with the grandkids I have saved $400 in rental fees over a 43 day period.

If you can live with somewhat inferior to major name brand tools this is your place. 99% of everything purchases here of the years is totally functional. However they do not and when asked claim will likely never have kangaroos for sale.

Went to go get a battery jump pack for my car. There were plenty of items for sale. I found what I needed and the cashier was in the office but when she saw me she quickly checked me out. Good experience overall.

I want to check on a refund that I was supposed to be issued to my card and was refunded the someone elses card What the manager couldnt tell me whos court it was refunded to she says it was mine but it wasnt and they only give you the last 4 numbers

Its like a toy store for guys but prices are really good. Sure you may not get the quality of a craftsman but you can buy a whole bunch of them! With their 20% coupon and freebies, you can save a lot of money! One last thing, prepare your sense of smell prior to entering the store.
