Hamrick Fencing did a great job with the my fence installation. Russell and his crew were great to work with from getting the estimate done to the actual installation. I also had another project at my house in which a portion of the fence needed to be temporarily removed for access. Hamrick Fencing agreed to come do it at no cost. Easy to work with and does great work.

From first glance this is the best deal and friendliest people around. Hamrick came out and provided the quote as requested and beat the price of all other quotes we received. Problem with going with the best price is you get what you pay for. When scheduling for the installation, we requested that either my wife or I be onsite so ensure that the posts are laid out in the places we wanted since we were working around pine straw beds and trees. I received a call while at work that the crew was at the house and beginning the job. I had to talk over the lay out as best as possible with the crew lead. The fence was completed in a timely fashion. We were promised a year warranty for any issues. We had three walk through gates installed and one drive through gate. About a month or two after completion we noticed some boards that were warped, not nailed at all, missing nails, nails sticking out of the back of board where they missed the framing, lag screws sticking out of the back where they missed the framing, gates not opening or closing properly, gaps so large under some sections of pickets that my 32 pound dog gets out with ease. Not to mention one post that was practically coming out of the ground, which I was told, was my fault. After multiple attempts to get in contact with the company we had to threaten with calling another fence company to come out to make the needed repairs and then pursue legal action to get Hamrick to reimburse us. Hamrick then finally returned our calls and said he had a lot of customers mad at him but he had stuff he had to take care of that he would meet me one afternoon to go over the repairs. First attempt, no show. Hamrick then apologized for missing the appointment that something had come up. He then scheduled a morning visit with me that required me to take time off of work. Second attempt, no show. Hamrick then told me he had one of his employees come by and take care of it, which I was at the house the whole day and never saw anyone. Come to find out he sent them to the wrong house. He then made another appointment with me to meet up and yet again, third time, no show. Finally on the fourth attempt Hamrick met me and went over and promised repairs would be taken care of that week. After about a month and a half, I have given up that my issues will never be taken care of. This has been 10 months. Still no repairs. Be careful, cheap doesn’t always mean a good deal.*UPDATE*Filed a complaint with the better business bureau on 6/30/17 for restitution or repair. Mr. Hamrick responded to the complaint on 7/5/17 stating he would reach out to me and resolve my issues and stated I have clearly dropped the ball and did not follow up on this situation properly and accept full responsibility for. It is now Friday 7/28/17 and have yet to hear from him. Next step will be legal action.

I was trying to entice great prospective tenants to rent my home. They wanted a fence, so, I needed a quote ASAP as they were looking at other homes. I called Hamrick Fence and spoke with Russell who sent me a quote, that was well within my budget, the next day. I tried to get a comparison quote, but the other 2 fence companies that I called -multiple times - never even returned my calls.Russell is super friendly and was very responsive to my subsequent calls and emails. All I can say is RUN. This man will do the work but if he causes any damage or some problem arises he will not keep his word. Because of him I had to pay a 900.00 water bill that was his brothers fault. And because of Covid I dont have the money to sue him yet!!!

FIVE Stars is not enough for Russell. I randomly came across him at a restaurant talking to another customer when he mentioned he owned a fence company. I have a gate/fence on my property that gets open multiple times a day and the hinges kept coming off. He went to my location immediately, called back and said he was on it. He ordered industrial strength parts for me and I have had no problems since. This guy is great and I wish I had another project for him.
