I wish I could leave no stars. I quit going to this location over a year ago because the staff was rude. I went today because I was in that area. I will NOT be back . They wanted to charge $1.99 for a piece of tape. I have read several other reviews with similar comments and the owner / manager has excuses for all the comments/ complaints. I will continue to go to the Lovejoy location. Always a pleasant experience and I’ve been there at least 25 times. All experiences at Griffin were bad.EDITED TO ADD TO RESPONSE FROM OWNER: I totally get that you are there as a business to make money. But..... one end of my box may have needed a small piece of tape. Also, there is NO excuse for the rudeness I have encountered at your store in the past.

I went to this UPS store often, the place always clean and neat, very busy and the people that work there are nice and helpful, very helpful.One person stood out, she is always cheerful, she has the patience of a Saint, regardless how sometimes place is crowded and long line, she is helping more than one person at a time and never loose her cool.This store is very lucky to have her and a lot of today people can and should learn from her attitude ( I know that I did).Her name is Mabes, I don’t know what her last name is, but she always makes the place brighter with her attitude.Thanks for being a good store and good folks.

The manager and the notary were both impressive and easy to deal with. I came in with a large stack of documents. The notary took her time helping me while the manager and other staff dealt with at least one dozen customers in and out with ease. Once we were done, the manager and another coworker helped signing the witness lines for me also. Great staff!

I have only visited this location twice before and the manager was the only one on duty and she is absolutely AMAZING! She is efficient, friendly and professional! I went in today to get some paperwork notorized, being a notary myself, I know the rules and guidelines and the young man charged me per page! I questioned him on the policy and her proceeded, as the store was full and I was not feeling well, I didnt argue but to future patrons, be advised that per the state of Georgia, notary charges are per act (transaction)!

Ms. Mabes, one of the customer service employees was exceptional. When I went into the store, she was working alone but she was fast and efficient. Customer service skills were above average. I complimented her on her skills and efficiency. She made sure that I was happy with the pricing of my shipping and gave me options to chose from. I never go to any other UPS store because I know when I come here I will be in and out. GIVE HER A RAISE!

Always pleasant, professional and quick!! Today I had to send some things back as a return and have a couple of things laminated!! Very happy with my experience!! I love this store!!

I ended my contract with AT&T/DIRECTV. AT&T informed me they have a contract with UPS store take the cable box, and the remote and turn it in. Once I arrived at the UPS store I informed the worker that AT&T told me. That they have a contract with UPS and it will be free to ship the cable box and the remote. Coworker responded unfortunately we do, I also asked the coworker how was your day. He said he was ready to go. I know we all have those days where we don’t feel being at work. A customer should never feel Like they’re bothering a staff member for doing their job. Or being talked to like their stupid.

I went there and left feeling like Id just ruined the employees already bad day. When I first walked in, he glanced up and didnt say anything to me. Thats fine, maybe he was busy. When I put the products on the table I needed to have packed/shipped, he walked over and just looked at me, still not saying anything and with an irritable/annoyed expression. I told him I needed them packed/shipped, and he said, K. His entire demeanor said hed rather be anywhere else. When he was done packing it and taking the shipping address, he said, Its $12 for ground. I said ok and asked when it would be delivered. He literally rolled his eyes and said, *sigh* Sometime middle of the week. I didnt feel free to ask for a more specific delivery date based on his attitude so I kept quiet. He then said, Total is $27. I got confused and said, I thought you said it was $12? He goes, Yeah....thats for SHIPPING. You have to pay for the PACKING too. *sigh* *eyeroll* Its my fault for not thinking about that, but he had once again made me feel like an idiot and that I was ruining his day. He slid the finished paperwork across the counter at me without saying a word.The employees here seem irritable and rushed. Ive mailed things 4 times from here, and only 1 time did I not feel like an absolute bother.

I’ve been coming to this UPS store for 5 years now and the service is top notch. Manager Mabes has always run a spectacular small package shipping biz. Her employees exhibit a wonderful attitude each and every time handling multiple customers without delay. The only thing missing is the music playing when entering the store. Please bring back the music.

Waited 30 mins, got skipped in line by four people. Was then told one second sir for yet another customer to skip in front of me to check out. Will not be returning to this location.

I love working with this UPS Store. Every time I go, no matter how long the line is, they get me in and out quickly. Even during the Christmas rush. Amazon returns are so simple working with UPS too. Drop off, scan barcode, get receipt, and usually within 10 minutes Amazon refunds my money. I love that there is no packaging to do.

Today the store only had one worker but several customers. She worked so quickly and with kindness! I was amazed she could keep track of everything so efficiently.

How do I choose 0 stars? I went in and had some very very important papers overnighted. When I went to track it today, it shows that the label was created, but it does not show any movement at all. $48.00 by the way. When I called to ask why my package have not moved, I was told that I need to call USPS.....Well, USPS did not charge me $48.00 to guarantee delivery, UPS did.

Was just in this location making a shipment for work. I was very Unorganized I didnt have all my information Mabes was Extremely patient with me and my several trips back and forth to my car. She is Extremely professional and courteous with Not only Me but Everyone in line. Definitely recommend this location, I ship for work All over the City believe me when I say this location is exceptional.

The young lady let me in even though it wasnt yet opening time. She was very helpful, courteous. And quick. She got me right in and right out. I wish we had one in Thomaston.

The other day I was in the store I got there early to avoid a line. I had to send a fax. The fax keep running busy, so I was in the store for and hour. Let me tell you Miss Mabes was awesome!! The woman who answered the phone was very rude very short very curt and did not clarify my question in just had a complete attitude do not go to this store.To whomever replied- what does the postal office has to do with what I posted. My experience was centered around questions regarding a fax.Again you posted evidence that shows your poor customer service and horrible listening skills.I repeat do not go to this store.2nd reply: my questions have been answered about the fax through another store.The attitude and customer service of the people who staff your location os awful as well as listening skills. Today my daughter and I traveled from Gay to Griffin to ship packages for my business. As we begin traveling we phoned in to confirmed the store closure time. A young lady answered the phone and asked us to please hold. We were on hold the entire trip but once we entered the store I completely understood. The store was full of people shipping packages and one employee providing assistance in which she was multitasking to make sure every customer was serviced. When I approached the counter I stated to her I see now why I was on hold. She immediately apologized and proceeded to help me with my shipping needs. I highly recommend using this merchant. She was something to watch and the owner of this particularly franchise should be very proud. You can’t go ever where and get this level of service. Other customers were amazed as well and said they would give a good review, but I wanted to especially take the time to write this! She didn’t even want me to use her name.

Ms Mabes is the best of the best, she has been helpful to me my husband for many years.

I was rudely talked down to by the UPS upstart who was probably the owners spoiled brat! Not one employee was wearing a mask. There was NO six feet apart between customers. There was no sanitizer for the counters. I am 77 years old, on Oxygen with crippled arthritic hands and no store has the right to compromise my health or insult me.

Nicole is a wonder, and a real professional, and here is why! I have never been near this store but needed their services for an oversize shipment of aircraft parts from their location to Texas. I called the store and Nicole answered. She listened to my request, said they could do the job if I could get the parts to them. Using Nicole as a point of contact, my friend delivered the parts to the store. Nicole called me to work out additional details, obtained the packaging for the oversized items, had them packed and shipped them out, all within two days of my original phone call. Talk about service!! Not one time was there any hesitation about doing the job. Totally positive from the start! I cannot thank Nicole, a most Professional Customer Service Agent, enough for the favor she did for me and the members of our Squadron out here in Texas. UPS, thanks for having Nicole on your staff. No wonder your store has such good reviews! You hire super employees!!

The shore had just opened and Mabis (the clerk) already had 7 customers. Talk about hit the ground running. I am not one to write reviews, but she was very impressive to see. I wish she could work for me because everyone in the store was treated as though they was very important. Way to go MABIS !!!

This morning because of all the excellent reviews for this.store, I sought them out to get the right box for my painting.This store is extremely busy! I mean they dont have time to breathe. However I was greeted by a young lady who was attempting to find solutions to a technical problem in the store. She called her boss who quickly over the phone gave the answer while serving me with laughter and big smiles. Then she solved my box issue and the 2 customers waiting to print things all at the same time was training a new employee. Man I havent experienced this level of customer service in a long while! Im coming back and inviting my friends to the UPS store in Griffin.

I just experienced the best of customer service ever! I walk into the UPS store and asked about a previous email I sent over and my 15 color copies and my computer use was put before me in less than 3 minutes. All the while I was laughingly joking having a great time with the girls of the store. I want everyone to know that this is definitely a 5 star business that does a plethora of things to meet almost any printing need available! Way to go UPS STORE.

I am a regular customer and have been using this location for over 3 years now with no complaints. All of their employees have great customer service and go the extra mile. Every time I go there Im greeted with friendly faces and they are usually already grabbing my mail for me when I come in. They also let me use their dolly when I forget mine which can save me a few trips back and forth. I’m very pleased with this location’s customer service and I will continue to use this store.

Had to give only 1 star for today...Google website info says open on Sunday from 11:00am to 4:00pm...drove 15 miles to find out that NO..they are not open on Sunday..they are closed on Sundays. They need to correct the Google website information.

When I came to the UPS store today I had the best customer experience .speaking with the young ladies that work behind the counter they expressed that they don’t get the best reviews some times for their service. I shrugged it off and said you guys are always great with me but they were like no seriously people go on and try to crucify us for misunderstanding. so I’m writing this review to let others who come here know the group is sincere, they’re honest and very helpful. And genuinely care about their customers. this is a five-star store and it’s sad that when customers come in and something didn’t go the way they wanted, they go online and just say horrible things but I’m coming online today just to let you know that this is a great place to do business and I really appreciate others who are friends of this store to say the same.

The lady working there was by herself and it got busy and she managed like a pro. Her multitasking skills were on point and her customer service was phenomenal!!! Today I traveled down from Gay,Ga to Griffin with my mom to send off packages for her business. Before we can I called on the phone to see what time they were to close and I was kindly put on hold. After a couple of minutes we decided to just cone on down. Upon arrival my mom and I saw how busy the store was. Walking into the store we saw one young lady working by herself getting customers in and out the best she could. We received an apology and she was very professional and help us with every thing we needed. I would highly recommend coming here for any packaging and shipping needs.

I went in to ship a package overseas. Since this was my first time I was unaware of the time and effort that shipping an international package took. Ms. Mabes was the perfect example of customer service from start to finish. She took her time and explained every detail of the process. She made sure that every item in my package was on the ship list (she had to call twice) so there were no customs issues. The process took about an hour and she was pleasant and helpful the entire time.. I will ship with them again. Thank you Ms. Mabes!! ❤️

The store was very busy this early afternoon 8/5/2020 and Mrs. Mabes kept it cool and rolled with the punches. Even though it was crazy busy I appreciate the service. I know people can get very upset with shipping their mail, but these people are awesome and try their very best!

My son and I visited Saturday 9-14-19 and had the best experience! Even though we came in close to closing time with several complicated issues the lady there was wonderful. Ive used this location several times and been so pleased each time. There have been long lines twice when I went in and both employees were quick and efficient and friendly. When there is no line, the manager always takes a second to chat with me and my little girls because they are usually with me. This store has a good selection of pretty or fun greeting cards. Since the local Hallmark store has closed, we like getting special cards from this store. Its clean and organized too!

Drove up from Barnesville to do a return from FedEx that would not pick up my package and Mabes took care of us and went over and above to take care of everything we needed. We will be telling all of our family and friends in Lamar County to come to the UPS store for all of their shipping needs

I had a package to return to Amazon and it needed tape. They charged me a dollar for the tape. No big deal. I paid for the tape. She started helping the next customer so I asked if she was going to tape the box..I wanted to make sure it was sealed before I left the store. Instead, she decided to tell me she would do it after she helped the next customer.. I informed her I was her first customer and she should complete the transaction with me before helping the next customer. She said she wasnt arguing with me and continued with the next Two customers before finishing mine. She has no idea how customer service works. Very rude person. The security gate was almost completely closed so it looked like the store was closed early. I almost didnt go in the store. Apparently she didnt want to work the rest of her shift.

Came in and sent my girlfriend a present and they was fast and easy. they was so nice and friendly

I went in to the store and told the lady I already know the drill and told her I emailed my label 😁 and they had me out in less than 2 mins so I could enjoy the rest of my day!!! And this was the Griffin Ga location!

I greatly appreciate the service provided to me at this location. Mabes had the patience of Job with me even though her lobby was running over with people. She still worked with my e mail issue. The lady had to multi task like crazy and was nice the entire time to everyone. I am always coming back to this location when I have printing and faxing needs. I returned a defective Amazon product today. Overall, the experience would have been just fine were it not for the clerks attitude. I dont feel like I needed a lecture on how to tape a box, when the return Instructions said PackageLess_UPSDropOff.When I told her so, she said well, it is Monday under her breath.Be happy you have a JOB young lady!P.S.After reading several reviews, it appears to be a common theme with this store. It also is offensive how the response to the negative reviews is generally rather snarky.UPS could use some much needed coaching. Then again, maybe they are ABOVE such a thing.

I went into this establishment today To pick up a package that was apparently taken to this checkpoint.I waited an hour for my packages but the young lady that was black today was very rude disrespectful had an attitude and should not be working here then I called the store manager he acted as if he did not see this young lady do this then tried to basically rub it off like it was nothing both of these people need to be replaced because they do not have the proper customer service etiquette to disrespect the customerShows how this establishment feel because of who they hire I will never be returning here again for now on if you do need to come to UPS I recommend you go to the one on East broad in Griffin Georgia they are very kind understanding respectful but this one it’s a no for me If I had the option to give it a zero I would
