First service representative was friendly and I made an appointment to buy 4 new tires. On day of appointment, they give you a list of what they recommend to be fixed on your vehicle while you wait on your tires to be replaced and strongly suggest for certain things to be done before they can do a wheel alignment while replacing tires. I had just had work done on my car at the dealership so I called my service advisor for a 2nd opinion because they have my records and I had just had a full diagnostic test done a week prior while they were working on my vehicle. Long story short, all those recommendations were not needed or a matter of emergency. When my car was done, the tire pressure was off and a lug nut was missing. I put air in the tire and the pressure was balanced back out. The staff member seemed very flustered but had another staff member replace my missing lug nut. I am satisfied with the tires overall. I purchased 4 Good Year Assurance Weather ready tires. You can get a $100 rebate as well. Satisfied with tires but did not feel comfortable with customer service at time of appointment. As of present, quality of tires appear to be same quality as the tires at dealership.

Id been having a low tire pressure warning flashing on my dash board. It happened several times, and I usually just put air in the tire. After the message appeared for the fourth time, I took my Ford Focus toBelle Tire, on Mack Ave. in Grosse Pointe Farms.They put the car in a bay, investigated what the problem was--a nail in the tire. They took out the nail, repaired the tire--and no charge. and off I went.But the best part of my story is that as I waited in Belles Customer Waiting Room, I watched and listened to the staff help the customers. Without exception, the staff--two men, one woman--responded to each customer with his or her complete attention. Fast, friendly service. The tire protection plan that I bought with my new tires this summer was well worth it. Thought I punctured a tire because air was down to 50%, but all four had slow leaks. Problem diagnosed and fixed in an hour and a half, and no charge. Great shop.

Excellent service here! The mechanic was able to locate and fix an issue Ive been having since the Great Flood of 21, and the deal on 4 new tires was hard to pass up. Money well spent - the ride is nice and smooth again.

This is a great place!! The guys truly do a good job; however, when checking-out, they are usually so busy, they do not take time to fully explain what was done, or what you will need on your next visit. :-(Being a person who dont know much about cars, I need this little, extra time at the end of my visit - at checkout. :-) to discuss those things.

I have had two bad experiences with the Belle Tire in Grosse Pointe. Several years ago, I brought my vehicle in to have the winter tires installed and mounted. When my wife picked up the vehicle, Belle had thrown away the summer tires (with less than 10k miles on them). The vehicle ended up getting totaled several weeks later, so we did not pursue the issue.Although I had sworn off the place, they recently had an exceptional deal on tires for our van. Purchase and install were smooth. However, we ran over something that popped one of the new tires after less than 100 miles. I brought the tire in and they repaired it under warranty, but I was advised the TPMS sensor also needed to be replaced for about $100. It took over 24 hours for them to get the tire back and the sensor did not work, the error light was still on and could not be reset. Annoyed with Belle and myself for trusting them, I brought the vehicle into the dealer and was advised that the sensor replaced by Belle less than a month and 200 miles earlier needed to be replaced again.Avoid this place. There is a Shell across the street that can handle your tire needs and that is where I will be going.

Poor communication and unrealistic wait times. We took our car here for a nail in the tire at 8:30am, we were told there were many cars in front of us. We were told the car would be ready at 2:30pm. At 2:30pm we were told they hadnt looked at the car yet, there were 3 cars in front of us and it would be done at 4:30pm. At 4:30pm we were told there were 3 cars ahead of us (still?!) And it might not get done today.What kind of customer service is this?! We are from out if town trying to get home, expressed this to the manager but he never gave us realistic expectations at any step of the way. Eventually picked up the car (still with a flat) and took it across the street to the Shell. They immediately repaired it.

This Belle Tire always seems to be busy, but they do a good job moving customers through. I take all my vehicles there for service.On Monday I got a flat tire from a puncture on the road - I took the tire in (it was already off the car) and they fixed the tire and had it back to me within a couple of hours...no charge!

Holy cow - the guys at this location in particular were top notch. They went above and beyond, were caring and efficient. I’d recommend this Belle Tire to anyone in the surrounding area!

Actually, its the Belle Tire in Roseville on Gratiot near 14 Mile that I am dissatisfied with and NOT this location! When I was at the Roseville location last year, I had some work done, but wasnt informed that I was driving with a bad axle. A few days ago, the Kelly Car Care/GOODYEAR on Kelly Road replaced my axle. At the time, I wasnt satisfied with the repairs there either, but after my return the next day, last Friday, the issue has been resolved and I am satisfied. The Roseville location of Belle Tire? I dont trust them! This Belle Tire told me $407 to replace the front passenger axle for my 2002 Jeep. GOODYEAR saved me almost $161! Its likely that I will definitely go back to Kelly Car Care with my Vehicle Repair Needs!!!

One of the best auto service I have received from an auto place in a while. Friendly nice and understanding. I would definitely go back. Yes it was a tad pricy however they have a guarantee and a big name to back it. The reps were amazing and took good care of me.

It took 4 tries to get minor service work. I was persistent because they do good work. Hopefully they will solve their personnel issues.

I stopped by with a tire that Ray Laethem Chrysler couldnt seem to patch properly. The guys at Belle Tire took care of it with competence, and sent me on my way. Thanks again to Belle Tire!

Dropped my car off 8:30am to change 4 valve stems no sensors. Told me couple of hours. Called 2:30pm they said several cats ahead of me not till later. Do not take your car here total joke they lied said few hours I was first one there In Morning. Salesman was nice but service was horrible. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else!!!!

I received a wheel alignment 7/29/2021 at a local Shell station when Belle Tire couldnt do it but that is one of their specialties.

I took my car up yesterday for one tire. They called me when it was done and advised that I needed a wheel alignment when I had just left Ray Laethem who completed a thorough wheel alignment and they guarantee their work. I will be reporting you all to the BBB because that was very unethical and now I’m wondering how many customers are getting money stolen from them when an alignment is not even needed!!!!

As always, the tire guys at Belle Tire knocked it out of the park. Be it the amazing service, the pleasant waiting room, or that feeling of knowing your vehicle is in the best hands.

They were very busy but they were polite and got me in and out quickly. The gentleman said I needed one part but he suggested I replace 2 and get an alignment. I originally went in for an alignment only. Their estimate for my repair? Just pennies shy of $500. I had a mechanic friend of mine do the work for free and the park cost me $30. So for $470 I would have been charged? I wont be going back there. You do the math!

Great staff! I had my car towed here after a blow out on the freeway. They took me in and got me together quickly even though they were very busy.

Had a headlight out on my drivers side, I called and spoke to Zach, he said my car shouldnt need the front bumper off to change the headlight. I made it in around 3:10, I had both replaced, due to Im sure the other side would have went bad soon. Very friendly place.

Complete scammers... They “patched” my tire and the next day the I was having the same exact issue so I take my car in to a different belle tire and they told me that the service they did to my car wasn’t even in their system (meaning they did nothing to it in an attempt to get me to buy a new tire). I also took it to a shell gas station nearby and was told that I was the 5th person this week to bring in a car that was “fake fixed” by that same belle tire.

Great communication with keeping the customer informed on what needs to be done and the expected repair time.

They were able to get usin right away. We had tried two other locations but they were unable to see us for two weeks. Thank you for fitting us in .

This place is a rip off! They told me I needed to pay $855 took it to my mechanic & told me there was nothing wrong with my car.

The service that I received today at Belle Tire was unprofessional and absurd. I was first told that I needed 4 new tires. I explained that we just purchased 2 tires less than 20,000 mile ago. The associated couldnt understand why because the wear on the tires were even all the way around. I waited about 20 minutes and another employee told me that he could not perform the front end alignment unless I did $800 in front end work. They performed an alignment when I purchased the last 2 tires, not sure how they could perform it then and not now, weird???I have found that their prices are a lot higher than their competitors...Good luck if you choose to get your car serviced there.

Full this a.m. and short staffed. Had to leave car with flat tire over weekend.

I took in my car for tires, which is seasonal and not driven often. It’s twenty years old and I knew going in that it had a few other issues, but was planning and preparing for new tires only. Once the front wheels were off they informed me of a bunch of front end/steering issues. I knew to expect it, but the damage was more than I expected. They gave me the quote and, reluctantly, I chose to move forward with it. The twist here that led to the 5 Star review? They ordered all the parts, installed them and when they called to let me know it was completed they were honest enough to tell me that some of the parts were going to be less expensive than originally quoted. Most service places (auto or other) get an approval on a price then go with it. If the prices change or service is less than expected, the usual thought seems to be, “well, the customer agreed to pay this amount, that’s what we’ll charge.” It was refreshing to agree to a price, then be told it would be less.

It was a Great visit, the employees were wonderful.

Didnt have the tires l needed cost me time and money

My friend got a flat tire on her way to work and stopped in hoping someone could quickly help her so she could still be on time for her morning patients. Upon arriving she was told that no one could help her due to them not being open for 20 more minutes. HOW UNPROFFESSIONAL that you cant help a medical worker with her tire 20 mins before you open. She sat in her car and cried about how stressful this situation is and poor customer service. LAZY LAZY LAZY.

A+This wasnt the case in the past, and thats why only 4 stars.I didnt leave a bad review for my one bad interaction before.Minimal time spent with this location so...Will see if this good trend continues as I have a few vehicles to rotate through them for tires and alignments over the coming months. I have been a customer of Belle Tire for 30+ years... my experiences are in all ways very professional and the quality of services and products is THE best around!

This is the kind of service I received in their establishment 6/18/19. I brought my vehicle in between 9:15 and 9:30 AM for an oil change and to have the tires rotated. I was asked if I wanted to have the alignment checked at no charge and I agreed. I was told that if an alignment was needed I would get a call. I did not receive that call. Was told it would be 2-3 hours. At 2:23 PM I received a text message saying the work was complete. When I arrived to pick up the car and pay, I was charged for the alignment. Not receiving a call for authorization first is pretty shady.After I left, I looked at the tire pressure monitoring system, and saw that all 4 tires were at the same exact pressures that they had been before I brought the car in. I had over-inflated the 2 driver side tires recently, and was sure that the pressure would be balanced after the rotation so I had left it that way, and I DID look at it before I dropped the car off. The front was at 46 and the back was at 42. That is exactly how they were when I picked up the car. This is absolute proof that those tires were not rotated! I brought the car back and asked about it. The person who helped me needs to learn some serious customer care skills. Not only was he not apologetic, but he insisted that the tires HAD been rotated, and he was pretty rude about it.When I looked at my receipt on the way home, I saw that I was charged $25.00 for some kind of yearly alignment plan, which no one asked me about, nor did I authorize it. Now I know why I was asked if I wanted a receipt. Who the hell doesn’t want a receipt for work they have done to their car???? So, I again went back to get a refund. And again, rude, dismissive, no sincere apology.I hate to say it, but even though I have been a customer there for many years, I am not going to ever go back.They would do well to have certain individuals get some in-depth customer service training, and also, it might be of benefit to have some checks and balances in place so that the techs don’t say they did work that they didn’t do, and so that the customer service reps don’t try to add charges to your customer’s bills that have not been authorized by the customer.

Good place. I brought my car in for a tire rotation and to check on a slow leak. They told me my tires did not need to be rotated, I appreciated them not performing a service that I didnt need. They fixed my tire that had a slow leak. Had it ready when I needed it to be, which was by lunch. Told me I would be needing new tires within the next six months (which I agree with) and gave me quotes for tires in three different price ranges. No hard-sell whatsoever. Nice guys, helpful. I was very happy with the service.

Got a new set of tires, received my car back with grossly and unevenly overinflated tires. I should not have to double-check their work.I suppose the free air station is there so that you can ensure a proper and safe inflation level after they inflate your tires.Polite folks who will try to trick you to spend extra money with your struts are leaking.Their alignment tech did really try to do the best he could with bad control arm bushings. Got my car driving straight-ish until I replaced the faulty control arm and upon returning he got it dialed in perfectly.

Very very busy. tire sale. 5-6 hour wait to mount tire. Staff NOT wearing masks was uncomfortable and withfront and back staffs not practicing percautions it was a bit surprising..considering all lobby guests had on masks.

Didnt have the tires I wanted and didnt offer to get them. Had to go to the St. Clair Shores store, unfortunate when I stay right up the street from this location.

The staff is very professional.Marcus kept me up to date on the progress of my wheel/tire swap... The installation technician actually provided valuable feedback and suggested a much better tire to complement the new wheels.Although they are usually very busy, they are never rushed.Very positive experience.

They did everything they could to get my car ready in a tight deadline and then discovered my key lock was missing. They went out of their way to call another service center who would be able to plug my tire without removing it. I have never experienced customer service like that before, thank you!!

Shady business. Spent $500 on a repair now my car is blowing smoke in the power steering is out somehow this isn’t their fault and they won’t do anything to help me out either as I can’t get the car towed to them. Is this how they treat their customers? Not their fault not their problem? Terrible customer service would not recommend

I blew 3 tires this winter on my BMW with tires that are impossible to get. The guys at Belle Tire got them as fast as the dealer could and cheaper. They got me in and out with the new tires as quickly as possible, despite the enormous number of blown tires from all the chuckholes throughout the city. Yesterday they got me in and out immediately after fixing a flat, very appreciative of their service!!

I took my 2006 Nissan Murano in for a TPMS sensor replacement on one of the tires. Belle Tire called later and said that they reset the TPMS system and all 4 sensors are working fine. They didn’t even charge me for their time. Thank you very much. Honest mechanics.

I am a van driver for a non-for-profit youth program in Detroit. They were willing to extend their fleet services to us even though we only have five vans. They do their best to be prompt with repairs and maintenance. Average wait time is 3-4 hours if you get there first thing.

This location comes off as very shady. I went in for a tire repair which is $20. Stated that I only wanted a tire repair. The clerk proceeded to explain a wheel alignment process and told me the process, however I never agreed to wheel alignment. Waited 2 hours for my car. When I was called to the counter, I was told that my total was 129.99. The guy assisting me stated that they did a wheel alignment. I expressed to him that I never authorized and he showed me on the paper that it was noted to align if needed. I was very disappointed with my service and the fact that they are not clear in their explanations and just do whatever the hell they feel is necessary. I would never consider paying for an alignment being that my dad is a certified mechanic. Needless to say, I paid for a service I didnt ask for and I definitely wont be back. Nor will I recommend this place to anyone that I know. So sad.

Very Convenient for free air for your tires, if you need assistance with your tire pressure the staff is very willing to help. The tire pressure is easy to read so you wont go over the required tire pressire for your car/truck.

My friend took my car in because she had been borrowing it. She heard a clunk and it wouldnt move...so she had it towed here. They quoted her 1100 for a seized caliper (they dont just seize), tie rods, (arent blown out like they said) and brake pads and rotors (rotors are fine but pads need done)I told her absolutely not, and had my husband go down there to look....the parking brake broke apart inside the hub. Car moves just fine now.They would have got her for 1100 and then found out it still didnt move and got her for who knows how much more. Dishonest people here. Go elsewhere.

I work in the area and was looking to drop my vehicle off for brakes during work, and then picking my car up after work. I needed 4 brakes and 4 rotors. I called for a quote and before they gave me their quote, they asked if I had called any other places for quotes, I said yes, they asked which places, in which I told them. They then asked what the other places quoted me. I playfully told them thats not how this works, and jokingly stated, hey, isnt your motto the lowest price, guaranteed?, you shouldnt have anything to worry about! He then quoted me $750 for 4 brakes and 4 rotors for a Chevrolet sedan. I never told him that he was nearly double the price of other establishments for the top of the line brakes. I ended up going to Pointe Auto Tech, for $450 for all 4! I highly recommend them! Dont waste your time with this over-priced establishment.

Terrible customer service. They didn’t have time to fix my tire the same day, or even take it off the car. No big deal, I took it off for them. I go the next day when it’s “done”. They didn’t have time to put it back on the car for me. No big deal, I took it off, I’ll put it back on too, so I took it with me and went back to work. I go to put the tire back on after work and discover the tire is still flat. They never fixed it! Not very good attitudes from some of the employees too. I don’t know why I tried these guys over Discount Tire where I’ve only had good experiences. Lesson learned.

I am very pleased with this Belle Tire. Women are targets for shady men looking to get over on, especially if you no knowledge about cars and what it takes to repair them. I find that this Belle Tire is honest, friendly and they do an excellent job. The guys are all great, friendly and of course they take good care of the ladies.

Love the fact that you can get a warranty on your alignment! It sucks to have to pay for an alignment when you know that you are going to have to get new tires in a few months time and just have to pay for the alignment again! For an extra $25 you get a one year warranty!!!

Drop this tire off to get a new one. took a week for them to get a new tire on the rim.

Service was great & fast, but heres why I took off one star. I got a $70 rebate but no one told me it was in the form of a Mastercard. I was going to pay off my Belle Tire credit card with the rebate, but alas, I cannot.

They do great work, but theres almost always a big wait. Dont come here in a hurry. Drop your car off if you can or bring a book or some other form of entertainment and enjoy the company.
