My husband and I have had canvas and carpet work done from our previous canvas guy including full canvas, helm covers, cable covers, bimini, etc., for the last 14 years. We just moved our boat from Deep River to Mystic and needed canvas work done. Through a recommendation by our brother-in-law, we decided to call Custom Marine Canvas. Initially hesitating to write this review because part of us does not want anyone else to know how good these people are at what they do! If word gets around next time we need something, they might be booked. However, we feel businesses like this need to be recognized. From the moment Sue answered the phone until the promised delivery date this TEAM came through! We asked Katie for 1 replacement cushion. She quoted 1 price which was already very high, and then tried to increase it materially when we came to pick it up. When asked about it she thought it perfectly fine to increase the price. Over priced and poor attitude

Katie has done a great job for me on two small projects - repairing a little jib for my J/24 sailboat and creating a large Mudhead burgee. I look forward to my next project with her and the rest of the CMC team.

Excellent customer service and repair! They repaired a cover for my boat that was very faded but managed to make the repair and it still looked professional. Wonderful people to work with!
