We used to take our Honda and our Toyota there but, well never go back to them. We paid over $500 dollars for breaks on the front of our Honda. That was in May and our breaks are at 25 percent now. Then on July 14th I take it in to have them check our starter, altenater, and battery. To see why the Honda was having a hard time starting up. Well they changed the battery and say it was all good. We have it for about 4 or 5 days and it starts doing the same thing. We tried calling but, no answer. Only a fax, beeeeeeeep. Well I took it to another mechanic and he showed me the so called new break pads. He also fixed our starter. It works great now. I will never give my business to central coast customs again. Hell, I dont even know if theyre still open.

Ronnie “went above and beyond” to repair our car on short notice and we are so thankful to him for giving us such amazing customer service. Our daughter, who is a nurse, needed the car to go to work and Ronnie came to our rescue even though he was very busy. I am happy to report that we just delivered the car to our daughter and she is now able to get to the hospital. Ronnie also just did all the smog checks on three of our cars and we were very impressed with him and we highly recommend Coastal Custom Car Repair.

I have been going to these guys for years and they never disappoint. Gary and his team have been nothing but helpful with anything Ive needed done to my truck. Their prices are fair compared to other shops in town and they never try to up sell you on parts or things you dont need (like jiffy lube...). They have been in business for over 30 years and it shows by the quality of work they do. Shop around and youll see that Gary and his team are the best in town.

Been trying to pass smog for a while now. Had some tuning up to do to my truck and when I was ready, the shop I went to before, their machine was down. Saw an ad on Facebook for a weekend sale and reached out. Ronnie was responsive and friendly. Helped set up a time, and took his time to perform the smog. I will definitely be coming back for any other work and would recommend this shop to anyone.

Called them Friday to look at my truck that had a misfire. The guy I talked to told me to bring it in Monday morning. Took it in Monday morning at 9:30. Didnt here from them by 4:00 so I called and said they didnt have a chance to look at it. Really needed it looked at before I had to leave town on a long trip. If you cant handle it dont tell customer you can and then leave them hanging.

These guys saved the day for a fair price. Just traveling thru town and had problems unexpectedly. Fixed and gone in under 2 hours. 59.50 for labor. Bargain!!! Highly recommend!!!

If a smog-test experience can ever be described as pleasant, this must be it!With an appointment made a day ahead of time, I was in and out in 20 minutes and very impressed with the operation of this business. Lady at desk was nice, but owner and mechanics were a couple of old grumpy men, rude, and made me feel like I was a burden to them and I was in their way while getting my car smogged. He plugged a cable into my car for smog and told me the codes havent updated yet and demanded $30 just for that. I asked can I come back in 30 min or so when codes have updated? He said ya, but thats another $30. So he pretty much stole $30 from me. I will never go back.

I have had two vehicles serviced at Central, a Miata and a Toyota Tundra. In both cases the work was completed quickly, efficiently and correctly. The folks at Central are pleasant and totally trustworthy. I would gladly recommend Central to anyone who wants their vehicles serviced to a very high standard.

I have used this shop intermittently for years. I had a coupon for a competors smog services across the street not realizing the coupon wasnt my regular shop, I pulled still pulled in. With no sign for smog present I hopped out to ask the owner/mechanic if they did. He said he did do smogs and their price was FAR cheaper that my coupon. Coupon read +fee for this and + for that. Central coast custom was cheaper and all inclusive. I will be back soon for more necessary work!!! A+++

I have had a few cars in the past. CCC has kept them on the road for me a lot longer than they should have been. Keep the fluids clean and take your car to CCC and you will be able to keep those car payments away.

I have used CCC for nearly 10 years and am always satisfied and their prices are reasonable.

Just moved to CA and the people here made the smog check on both of my vehicles quick and easy.

I took a car here for a smog check and it failed the visual inspection because of smoke from the tailpipe. The mechanic offered a fix, but since I couldnt reproduce the condition, I took it to the State Referee at Cuesta College and the vehicle passed. I feel skeptical of this shop.

Gary and the crew at CCC have been working on all of my vehicles for at least 6 years now. Whether it be a major repair, oil change or smog checks. They are always happy to work with my schedule as far as getting my vehicle to them or picking it back up, even if it means leaving the car overnight. They are very efficient with time...even on a major repair, they have never kept my car for more then a few days. And on an oil change, just an hour or so and you can wait for a smog! If it doesnt pass, they can do the repairs in house and get you back on the road ASAP with a passed smog certificate! (I have had all of these services at CCC, so I know!)Dont get me wrong, on a couple of occasions, I had concerns with the repairs done but CCC promptly got the vehicle back in and has continued to work with me to keep me satisfied.CCC pricing is fair and competitive. (Ive called around!)Would I recommend them? Yes, definitely.I have been to several other repair shops locally for different issues with my vehicles and on several occasions, they couldnt find/fix the problem and/or it was expensive.
