My favorite local crafts store continues to make customer safety a key concern. The arrows are still on the aisles floors to encourage one way traffic, and masks remain mandatory for customers as well as employees. Michaels helped my friends and me make it this far; and it looks like they will carry us to the end of the pandemic... safely.

Love this store. Its on the smaller side, but always have what I need. The employees always go out of their way to help when I have a question.

Followed guidelines for precautions for a safer shopping experience.Continue to offer curbside pickup.Many of us still need distraction from the pandemic-related horrors. Michaels offers great choices and fun projects. Trying to create beauty despite the ugliness surrounding disease, and while seeing our neighbors (locally and globally) true colors shine through - good and bad alike - was a panacea.The staff is ALWAYS helpful and courteous, and the staff at the Guilford Commons location exceeds my experiences with other stores in the chain. I hope other customers appreciate that these people helped us keep our own and our kids lives bright in the darkness of 2020. We came out of 2020 into the sunlight of 2021 because of the distractions that stores like Michaels - the chain and its staff - offered.

Lovely store, very neat and excellent stock presentation but was not pleased with store associate. They need to improve on customer service and being kinder.

I love shopping here-- just lately the shelves seem a bit bare. Understandable because they dont want to lose money if the governor decides to close stores -- again. I will keep shopping there!!

For beads, the choices are basic ball beads. No heishi to be found. Theres not a lot of unique beads here.

Area residents are lucky to have this store in Guilford. Excellent selection of arts, crafts and hobby supplies, and framing. Helpful staff. Located next to Fresh Market. Easy parking.

Good variety of items.

This story location is big and pretty good with restocking the shelves. Its nice and clean, and the workers are nice and friendly too. The online pick up has always been a breeze I had one hiccup but nothing that wasnt fixed right away. I havent done curbside pick up yet.

Nice selection of merchandise. Was able to find everything I went there for and the cheap prices exceeded my expectations. Fast secure checkout process as well.

Nice store - sometimes feels a little too big but on the other hand it has everything youll need. I often get distracted and want something other than what I came in for. Once again, the trade off is that it has everything youd need. Feels a bit pricey but its loaded with sales if youre a member. Staff are friendly and always interested in what youre up to. Prefer over hobby lobby.

The employees are very friendly and helpful. This is my go to place for most crafts that I do. Also great for gifts, whether you want to make something or get something already made. They have a wide selection of many items you may need for your project.They also have classes and childrens events.

Great selection of art and craft supplies. There is always a sale in every department it would seem. And if you sign up to receive their emails there is a new coupon just about every other day. I never leave the store empty-handed!

As an artist I absolutely love this place, it legit has everything and at the greatest prices around...legit half the price on art supplies as most competitors, D.I.Y. go to spot!

A newly opened store. Always clean and well stocked. No places in the are to shop for crafting supplies so its nice to have.

Nice staff but they dont cut mats there they send them out. not enough metal frames or nice plain wood oil paints very expensive as is limited amount of good watercolor paper. use coupons. nice about that

Michaels has just about anything you might need thats craft-related, an excellent resource with helpful and knowledgeable staff. Also a good picture framing dept. It is pricey however, not the best option for a tight budget.

Everything you could possibly need for art projects,light home decorating..only things they do not have or are limited and the limited things in mention are cheaply made..that is Calligraphy Supplies.Anyone interested in beginning the journey of becoming a SCRIBE or PENMAN, Will purchace tools,,,pen holders, inks,,that are horrible to work with..once you learn a bit of the trade, you can purchace the correct supplies at Michaels ( for callig) but very expensive and not a good quality..ie SPEEDBALL INKS..worse I have ever used...but its marketed as #1..it is far from it..On the flipside..re callig supplies..Mi heals has the most extensive card stock paper,, in colors I have never known existed..card stock is great for callig..esp for practice. ..So yes..I would send someone there..great place to get the lightbulb in your head to light:)

The store has a lot of varied merchandise although the picture hanging kit we bought was not on the correct peg and therefore we did not know the price until we got to the cashier. I was helped by two people on the floor and the cashier was friendly and helpful.

Used framing service--excellent help from friendly, professional staff. Love my picture.

I love my girls because I get to go in and shop around and look at all the amazing craft ideas and they send me amazing coupons to my email or text message me coupons for fabulous ideas which gives me great deals and I save a lots and lots of money on all these great items some for myself and some great gifts

It is a typical Michaels lots of arts and crafts stuff. I was there about 45 minutes, all but one associates didnt even ask if I needed help. The one who did ask actually knew what she was talking about.

I found exactly what I needed, quickly and the cashier was very helpful.

Went in for pink modge podge which they had. Also was ready to start my Christmas glass bulbs filled with shells and sand and those were already stocked early too. I m glad they established a store in Guilford. Great service, great parking and appropriately stocked for the holidays! Only reason not 5 stars as Ive been in bigger Michaels. Happy crafting!

Found gifts for my younger female cousins. Exactly what I wanted.

Called today at 530pm and was put on hold for about 10 minutes ( I needed to hang up at that point). Buy a curt sales woman simply because I asked if the Guilford store had in stock an item that I had previously seen in the store (but did not want to ride down unless it was in stock). The item was a glass basketball case. When she answered she made a huffing sound and sounded aggravated that I actually asked if the case was in stock. It is unfortunate as Ive had generally positive experiences with the sales people in the store.
