The staff very kindly opened up the house for me in Winter as i had come from England to write a book, In the Name of the Crown. They could not have been more accommodating and friendly. A great part of early United States History.

The oldest stone house in New England. Beautiful grounds, lovely trees and trails to hike. There is a museum and gift shop. Close to the ocean and the Guilford Green

Really interesting!

The architecture is great, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The admission is a bit steep, but it goes to good use. Theres not a whole lot to see, but its worth a visit if youre interested in Colonial era history or the history of early European settlements in New England.

Excellent tour, great information! House is a little dusty.. beware if you have allergies, although it is pretty quick to see.

Museum of the first house in the area, today a century-old construction. You can see items of the time, from rifles to looms, even tools. Honestly not worth it due to the high price they charge for entry.
