Whoever knew you could walk-in and buy a new Paragon Kiln and take it with you that day? Highly recommend the crew at Dogwood! They helped us pick out the new Kiln that was right for our business and got it packaged and loaded up into our truck with no problem!

I ordered several Riverview ceramic molds. The most were shipped and arrived the day they were supposed to. The molds were cushioned with plenty of Styrofoam peanuts and tight in box to minimize movement andthey had no breaks or chips and were nice and dry.

Large selection of bisque. All made in the store and cleaned really well. Really good prices for the quality. Everything individually wrapped, this is a first for me to see. Good selection of classics and more dragons in one place then I seen. Really good prices for the quality. And all the paints are inexpensive. Good people running the store who are willing to go the extra to make sure I was happy. Will be back often.

Ive ordered several things to be shipped where I live in Chicago. These guys are great to work with and very friendly. Typically I have to wait weeks for ceramic supply orders but not with these guys. My only regret is not being able to shop there in person.

Great place with really big selection and everybody is so helpful and wise. Dogwood had the Shimpo Nidec VL Whisper in store stock at a really good price and gave me a discount card on clay as a bonus. Nice people.

These guys were the only distributor that had the kiln I needed in stock, and were priced competitively with other distributors who gave me a 1 month lead time. Best of all, they shipped it out same day, and I received the kiln two days later. I couldnt be happier with the purchase.

They have known the answer to every question I have ever asked, always have whatever Im looking for, and always get it to me quickly, even though Im out of town. Bought both my big kiln and my 2nd wheel there, and they always have replacement parts in stock, too. I just wish they were closer to me so I could browse in person!!

These guys worked TIRELESSLY to get my kiln to me. I live in a remote location on the other end of the country from them and they were an absolute pleasure to work with. My kiln came in double palleted and all but wrapped in pillows! Such a great family business. Would recommend any day.

Today was my first time visiting this store. It is well stocked and very clean. The salesman was very helpful and friendly. The discounts saved me a lot of money. I plan on returning when I need to buy more clay and glazes.

Excellent experience. I called on a Wednesday afternoon, when Dogwood was supposed to be closed, and they answered the phone anyway. The fellow I talked with couldnt have been more helpful. We discussed the pros and cons of refractory ceramic fiber lids vs. firebrick lids at some detail. I noted that the site also has a full page devoted to the topic. This is a topic that I have not been able to find out about anywhere else, and Ive emailed a lot of places and scoured a lot of web sites already. The reason Ive been concerned is that the ceramic fiber is assumed to be a carcinogen, and I had some serious concerns about introducing something like that into my home. And the fellow (didnt catch his name) was very proactive in providing additional information about shipping options. This is my first kiln and I feel a lot more confident now. Im still weighing the pros and cons of the lid but given the low price and high service Im sure Ill purchase my kiln from Dogwood.

The most rude, arrogant, self-righteous, encounter with a store employee Ive ever experienced. He must have been having a really bad day. Positive thing, our new ceramics class of 30+ will now know where NOT to get their supplies. So sad! Virginia S. I agree with your review. Same with me!To the owner that responded: We WERENT asking you to support the product we purchased on line. (even though you DO sell the same BRAND product we purchased- just not exact model) We were there to ask general questions concerning basic bottle slumping. Also, you do carry supplies that CAN be used with our kiln. You basically said, Well if you didnt buy your kiln from us, were not interested in selling you supplies to help you!! Any reputable business would be polite with answers - even to just say, Im sorry, Im not familiar with that brand, so I cant help you with that, but we do have some things you can use...... would have gotten a much different review. Instead you insulted, criticized, refused to answer questions about supplies we needed, and used a very rude tone. UNACCEPTABLE!Imagine if Lowes refused to sell maintenance parts to anyone who didnt buy their appliances/materials from them. They would go out of business. Same concept!!!! ;-0

These people were SO RUDE! They spent the entire time I was there trying to tell me that the kiln I purchased was garbage and that I had to buy one of the kilns they had. All I wanted was some advice and supplies. And my kiln is fine and works perfectly!Beware! These men are looking to make money off of novices. It is a shame because they are the closet pottery supply place but it is a better idea to order online than to be taken advantage of at this place.

Fantastic selection of ready to paint ceramic pieces including some pretty wild looking dragons and chess sets. Great color selection in small and value bottles. And the prices for the pieces are as good or better than what I have seen online. I did up a couple plate and mug sets for Christmas presents and the guys at Dogwood did the firing. I have already started picking out patterns on pinterest to do baby footprint stuff for next Christmas.

Huge selection of Ceramic Bisque and a lot of it is pretty inexpensive. I took my 3 girls and let them each pick out something to do for themselves and then a piece to do up for Fathers Day for their dad. Less than $50 for the pieces and paints. And we got left over paints for the next project. Need to go back soon to get something for me.

If there was a tab for Horrid I would choose that...I and people I know have gone into this store and on an increasingly regular basis we have gotten yelled at and told to GET OUT for simple exchanges or even asking questions.No one may want to say anything, but this is ridiculous!

Everything in Stock !! What else can anybody want, glazes, clay, pottery wheels, slab machines, kilns and lots of other stuff IN STOCK. I walked in and bought 3 gallons of glaze and received a better discount than any of the internet companies and the expensive glaze was in stock and didnt have to be ordered.I might be biased because I am from Biloxi, but it is nice to have the best pottery supply place around right in my back yard.The only reason Dogwood Ceramic didnt rate an Excellent is that they dont carry pottery chemicals and I wish they did so I wouldnt have to travel to Atlanta to get chemicals.Check out the molds and tools rows. Way better than the any of their competitors.
