Big advice nugget to help save you some time and $. I’ve bought bikes from Hall’s and Friendly powersports. Hall’s was C + and Friendly failed miserably. I got a VFR1200x at ms powersports and the price advertised was what I paid. Hall’s will advertise an extremely discounted price only to slide in “dealer fees” $1200-$2000 during paperwork after they’ve pulled a hard inquiry on your credit. The strategy there was to get the buyer committed. Friendly powersports has upfront pricing but loads the bike down with accessories that add at least another $1k to the final cost. Not only is it not advertised that way, but they will also tell you labor costs will be added to remove the unadvertised accessories. I’m only telling you this to save you the headache. Mike, the owner of South MS powersports, isn’t going to be down your neck pressuring you to buy anything. He has multigenerational sales knowledge and let’s you explore at your own pace. I’ve done some other transactions with MS Powersports and I’ve locked it in as my spot to get bikes. It’s definitely where you want to buy. I don’t know these guys personally but they definitely look out for you and know how to run a dealership.

Customer service is A+ because even when I call about a part that is literally a few dollars that they probably make very little profit on, they give me the same attention and service as if I’m buying a $10k ATV which says a lot!

The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. I ordered an Icon helmet from them and it was there a few days later. Theyve been working on my boyfriends bike and always update us on the status. Their prices are on point with no trickery. Unlike some other local dealerships who advertise a low price and then add the shipping fees and other costs! I also have had them order thousands in parts for me. Fast and competitive pricing with online sites like Revzilla. I will give them my business every time. I wish all dealerships were this way.

One of the best dealerships I have come across anywhere in the country. Really care about their customers and will take care of you no matter what. We bought our Yamaha side by side Nov 2015. Only has 75 hours, at this dealer Coast Cycle World. Took back to this dealer for repair before thanksgiving 2017, because it suddenly overheated. I was told its a brand new dealer, new people etc. Mike in service said he would put on computer this week. I called today Friday Dec 1. He was rude, yelling, defensive, & aggressive. Insisted he said 3 weeks. Hes a bold faced lier, because if he had said 3 weeks we wouldnt have left it; as were in deer hunting season and this is the only 4x4 we have.Personally we received better customer service from the other people than from the so called new & better people. I spoke with the almost owner, or so he said, but this Michael was no better than the Service manager. Just a note, theyre not doing us any favors. They will get paid whether by us or the extended warranty which is still good through 2020.If this is an example of what Yamaha stands behind, I definitely suggest going undercover and seeing for yourselves the kind of horrible customer service you have at a place which represents Yamaha.We will never return to that dealer if it were the last place on earth! Though we live in Gulfport wed rather drive 2 hours and at least be treated with respect and not be lied to! By the way, we will also post this on Yamahas home page.Nothing like all of the so called good reviews Ive read. Perhaps its because were Hispanics. That seems to be a big issue here in Mississippi. However when we go in to buy they only look at the money.

I was in Gulfport for a few days recently and went by South MS Power-sports to look at a few bikes. Everyone there was extremely friendly. I spent more than an hour throwing legs over bikes and talking Mike about my needs in a bike. He was extremely helpful. I decided to spend maybe another half hour with my wife sitting on a 2018 goldwing tour. When we made the decision to purchase the bike, Mike and Brandon made the process seamless. From decision to done with the paperwork was at most 45m. The longest portion of my time there was simply finding the right bike and then hanging out on it for a while.I am from Baton Rouge, but If I need anything related to motorcycles, I will surely drive the hour and a half there. It’s worth it. If your anywhere from Baton Rouge, New Orleans, etc and you want a great experience and don’t mind a drive to get it, this is the place
