So far I found it great. Tim Shopper was informative and took the time to answer all of our questions. Our purchase of a Jacuzzi hot tub went smoothly. Now we just wait for delivery.

We purchased a hot tub. delivered on time. Very efficient. Tub is great. We enjoy it on cool evenings. It helps my wife with her chronic back problems.

My experience with The Great Escape was amazing. We purchased both our hot tub and pool there and Tim was an amazing sales person. He was very knowledgeable about the products and really helped us decide on which would be a great option. That’s the easy part though, right? After our pool was installed we noticed a tear in the liner. We have no idea when it occurred and it was upsetting because we hadnt even been in the pool to swim. The installers came out and said that it wasn’t something that would be covered by the warranty and they weren’t liable. I was pretty upset and didn’t know what this would mean. I went into the Great Escape to let Tim know what the installers said and he was amazing. He really didn’t have to do anything to help us. The liner wouldn’t have been covered under warranty and he had literally ZERO obligation to help me but he discussed with me either patching or replacing the liner. He offered to pay for either option. Who does that?! It was incredible customer service and he’s made me a customer for life. I would strongly recommend Tim and the Great Escape for anything you’re looking for especially knowing that they stand behind their products and customers

Could not be happier with our experience. Tim and John patiently answered all of our questions with regard to multiple models and manufacturers. It was a great low pressure sales environment. After our purchase they even managed to pull in the delivery date when someone else cancelled. We have ordered product from Tim and John multiple times over the years and will continue to do so. Great product and great people!

We went to buy pool from Great Escape Gurnee and fortunately were greeted by Joe Bilski. He is an amazingly informed and extremely patient gentleman. We had so many questions and doubts around the pool as this was out first time buying. Joe walked us through every option and explained the pros and cons of each one of those. He was genuinely vested in ensuring that we get the right product which matches our needs. After purchasing the pool we contacted him via phone multiple times to ask additional questions and he always responded with courtesy and patience. His professionalism and knowledge showcases for itself when hes engaged in a dialogue with you.We are so glad you have Joe on your team as I am positive there are tons of other folks who feel the same given their interaction with him. We sincerely appreciate all his help and support to make this experience and easy and informative for us.

Great customer service! Knew a lot about the different hot tubs and was able to quickly narrow it down to just a couple models. No pressure from the salesman. Would recommend to anyone!

Cool store didnt have what I needed had to go to another store.

John the salesman was great. Very knowledgeable and helpful when we purchased a pool table.The delivery and service on the other hand was an absolute nightmare. Two gentleman show up in a white van, no labels, no company name on the van. The gentleman get out of the van, one wearing a nike hoodie and the other wearing a shirt with spray paint on it. (No clue who these people are as they walk up to the door).Both gentleman did not wear masks the entire time in our home. Not the end of the world, but in the customer service industry, it’s a must at this time and day.The table came damaged, I called the day of install and was directed to Savannah in service to handle all issues. I’ve left two voicemails for Savannah and not one returned call made my way.It’s unfortunate to make such a large purchase and have little to no customer service once they’ve received payment.

Purchased a pool from Great Escape Gurnee last year, the salesman was helpful and the beginning process went okay. Be warned however they just want the sale and they dont necessarily know what all is required to get your pool properly installed and up to code via local regulations. Also have had 2 or 3 awful customer service experiences where the employees were rude, short, abrupt, and unhelpful. Left my wife very upset multiple times. Recommend going elsewhere for your pool.

I used to think the great escape was overpriced, but after doing some online comparison shopping it is very competitive. The location in Gurnee is great, they are always very helpful whenever I am in there for pool supplies.

CANT BELIEVE THE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE PROVIDED BY THEIR SALES MANAGER SCOTT!!! MY SPOUSE AND I PURCHASED A GENSUN DINING SET FOR OUR NEW PATIO, SPENDING OVER $4500 AND WAS CONCIDERING PURCHASING LOVE SEAT, CHAIRS AND A FIRE PIT FOR ANOTHER $2500. But unfortunately after our patio dining set was delivered we were missing the base for our umbrella (we purchased the umbrella ) After sales manager Scott proceeded to up sell us a base, (which is only $60!) instead of including it like we were under the impression it was to begin with ?? already spending the amount we spent it was not the $60 just the Attitude of Scott the Manager when we tried to address our concern of the missing umbrella .Scott hung up on me twice and continually spoke over me on the phone telling me how he came in on his day off for us...so end result is over a $ 60 umbrella base and a horrible attitude and customer service. we will never be back and unfortunately when people comment on our beautiful patio furniture the story of our purchase will probably come up again and again.

I felt like an inconvenience when I asked for help with a problem I had. I was bombarded with meaningless questions like, When did you buy... Who cares? I needed some help and guidance AND I had money to spend. Poor customer service, imo...

Hate they sell poor qualityv equipment!! Its rediculous that each season ibhave to perchance a new heater and filter. If I new their product is poor quality I would have never bought it. There warranty police sucks!!!
