Brought my ram 5500 and they adjusted the steering so the tires don’t wear out and so far it’s looking great !

I went to my regular mechanic and he said needed a right rear leaf spring shackle & hanger replaced but I had to wait 10 days. I went to Hackensack Spring, they changed both sides, and a front sway bar beam bushing, I waited there 3 hours. I used to sell trucks, must have referred 30 people there, not one complaint.

Love the product that I get to use there! I havent had a problem with any brushes scratching my paint in any car so far, and I been going there for quite a few years now. Very neat and organized with the way the items are hung on the wall for the power washer, foam cannon, and brush. Great place to wash your car, and if with friends its a good little hang out spot to wash your cars together!

Good old school Bergen County garage still going strong. Brian the manager is a very nice and honest guy. He definitely goes out of his way to make the customer happy. My only fault was the job they did was supposed to be done the same day. It ended up taking a day and a half. It wasnt totally their fault since on of the parts they were installing didnt want to cooperate. Overall I was totally satisfied with the finished product. Dont let the outside fool you, they do more than truck lifts. They do classics and modern car suspensions.

We are constantly on the move. Brian and the team managed to squeeze us in and even had a part overnighted from California to get us back on the road as soon as possible. Not only was the work done well, but we were kept up to date telephonically of progress. A great operation, fair pricing and friendly professional people. Highly recommended.

The front desk lady had an attitude when she spoke to me . I wanted to drop off my boyfriend car because I was recommended this place by my own mechanic.since you guys were on trucks and 4 x 4. If you want to have your company have a good first impression, explain to the front desk lady how to speak with the right tone . This has nothing to do with the mechanic or anything because they could not work on my car. This is just about the front desk lady. #unfriendly

My truck had 2 broken leaf springs, and the stealership wanted $2100.00 to fix it. I went to Hackensack Spring for a 2nd opinion. I am glad I did. They replaced / repaired the broken springs, and I was back in my truck the same day, for about 1/3 of what the stealership wanted. My trucks ride is so much better now, no more shimmies and clunking. I will be returning for any suspension/alignment related repairs, and recommending Hackensack Spring to friends and family. Thanks!*** UPDATE *** I recently purchased a modest lift kit / suspension upgrade for my truck (leaf springs / coils/ Bilstein 5100s), and needed a local shop to perform the install work, so Hackensack spring got the job. They did a great job, and the truck rides awesome. Work was reasonably priced, and completed in a timely manner. Still highly recommended.

Had one of the best experiences here. Being a female, its hard to get an honest diagnosis on my car. I came in for an alignment because my car was acting funny. They checked it out for me, called me with the diagnosis. I couldnt afford it that day, but I did pay a diagnostic fee of only $40! Came back a week later and they got the job done that same day. They even deducted the diagnostic fee off of my final bill that was already a reasonable price. I am so thankful! Thank you guys. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for honest service.

Gave me a high price then OVERCHARGED ME when giving me a price TO BEGIN WITH. Work was done by a 2 year old. Drilled holes in my new leaf spring and the left and right side dont match(have different gaps) not to mention the new leafs look used and painted... steering pulls to the left. 3,000 miles on new vehicle. DO NOT BRING ANYTHING HERE liars and non professional work, would not come back if they were the last shop available . Go to a word of mouth recommend shop like I should have

A lot of people talk about Ivan in a good way and they recommend him to the fullest. Everyone talks about his great work and his skill. I had to try it for myself and with that being said nice guy and very honest. he communicates everything to you and lets you know if theres an issue before working on your vehicle and recommends what to do to fix certain problems.

I stopped in because of suspension issues from an accident. They were able to take it in immediately to see what would be involved. Once the issues were discussed, they were able to complete the job the same day with no regrets. My truck now rides like it did when it was new, and that was 10 years ago. The staff are friendly and professional, I highly recommend them.

Hackensack Spring took my Vintage car the next day and fixed the alignment shims. They knew how to do this job, where other shops did not know how to work on older cars.

Replaced front steel springs shackles, bushings and air springs along with alignment Truck is like brand new.Work was done quickly and neatly. Great customer service but the work was not done right I took it back to them 3 times and still had to take it some where else after spending almost $1800 in the hole. Money dont grow on trees guys. I will always pay for work to be done as long as its done right. Unfortunately I will not take my vehicle to them again. Very disappointed

Ive been coming here for a few years now and have been nothing but satisfied with their work. Brian the owner is honest and fair, and his staff knows their stuff. Not every shop can correctly install suspension parts. I hear horror stories about a Mavis or one of those chain shops making cars worse than they went in. There is a reason why Hackensack springs have been around for over 50 years, and it is because they are the best around.

While the place has great customer service and it seems as though the guys there know their stuff, unfortunately I got the one who really didnt want to put the effort in to get my alignment right. Instead, he wanted to rush the job so he can relax before the whistle.I brought my TTB F-150 in because I got my alignment during the last winter when my bed was filled with snow (too cold to melt and no room to dump it). So, when I finally got the time to do an alignment, it was towards the end of summer so for a while, I was driving with the wheel cocked to the right. When I left, the truck was pulling a hair to the right and the transition from turning to straight ahead was a little hairy. Given that my mileage was good, I figure toe was good. I also noted that the tires tilted the wrong way when turned, which indicated the wrong caster angle. I brought it back explaining these issues and to fix it, they decided to just grease the ball joint but left the angles alone. More troubling, the alignment bushing they replaced they never fully seated (prongs on the bushing wasnt down in the hole far enough to engage the prongs on the axle).So, the person that did my alignment essentially just gave me a toe-n-go alignment. More troubling, the alignment bushing wasnt installed correctly so the bushing could spin in the hole (and has). That and when I looked at the bushing they did not replace (I put adjustable ones in when I rebuilt my front end and they used a fixed one) at my next tire rotation, I wasnt shocked to see the bushing set to almost max negative caster (hence the tire tilting incorrectly).So when you go here, I would recommend asking for anyone but Dave. There was no reason why he was done in 20 minutes and absolutely inexcusable that it wasnt fixed at my second visit or the fact the alignment bushing wasnt installed correctly (thank God it didnt spin on me on the highway). Shame as Ive heard nothing but good from people about this place but due to this one person, I will probably never go again.

Great place for lowered cars that are slammed and for lifted vehicles. Its not like your local Pep Boys theyre alignment rack is built on the ground and there was someone below ground that will do the work as needed so gives a true alignment with no problems

Day by day they give you different price . they dont have price list . they just say my boss said it.

Went here for a wheel alignment on my lifted pickup where custom alignment specs are required. I handed them to the guy and he said You dont want me to actually use these and he laughed. I explained to him that these are the specs that are required and he said I already know the specs. He proceeded to do the alignment on a machine from the 1900s and used a Antiquated scuff gauge to set the toe. He was done in 15 mins and said Youre all set. I paid and left. On my way home I hit a pothole and heard a loud clunk and my truck started pulling to the right. I get out and look and the wheel was crooked. I get home and crawl under the truck and found the cam bolt was not seated correctly and it was loose. So there goes $80 down the drain. I refuse to take let them touch my truck a 2nd time. I ended up going somewhere else and paid for a second alignment that was done correctly on a state-of-the-art alignment machine using the custom specifications I provided. I will never go back to that place again.

Dont waste your time with this people. First they told you 8am appointment for semi truck alignment, and when I show up she told me 7hrs waiting. Never come back agan.

Terrible service and lack of knowledge on JDM foreign (Mazdaspeed3) vehicles. First they give me 1pm appointment Monday. Car was dropped off i get a call Tuesday letting me know car will be ready thursday 4 days. Then i get a call saying my rear coilovers arent preload adjustable. I call manufacture (ISC) who have to call them to explain how to adjust preload. 2. I get a call saying front coilover is stuck and cant be adjusted (ok) so back was stuck one side and front both were stuck but still charged $319 for what? No alighnment done cause they said i need 2 new control arms which i just replaced all bushings. Then i measure when i get home and 1 side was raised in the rear, which means other 3 sides not touched. I rather them just say tjey dont know Japanese/ aftermarket cars or parts then to take car and have it for 3 days wasting my time and money.
