Great!!! Tire repair/replacement is always fine. Of course a little bit more expensive than buying the tires yourself but for the convenience its still fair. Kevin (I think his name is) is very helpful

Stopped in for emergency tire repair as I had used this dealer a number of years ago with, what I remembered to be, good experience. Charlie, the service manager, was extremely helpful and accomodating. He squeezed me in for the repair and they did a good job at a very reasonable price. Nice waiting area with coffee, TV and seating for ten.They have a huge selection of tires and 10 service bays.

I was on the look for a sale. Took me in without an appointment was honest about the wait time n completion. Saved 130.00 good deal on 4 tires n alignment for life of the tire.

Worst bad place to send my car for repairs. Send my car because wouldnt start and Firestone Hackensack hold it for over a week and charged me over $1000+ for just replacing auxillary battery which wasnt the problem. Looks like they dont know what they are doing and always giving excuses to hold your car. Very unprofessional!!

Made an appointment online for some work. Car was worked on as promised and was done within the hour.No complaints.Place is large with several garages. Lots of guys working on vehicles.Special thanks to the Manager Charlie- a good guy who provided excellent customer service. He needs a raise!

I have been bringing my car to this place for the past 8 years and paid a few thousand dollars to them over the years. I made an appointment for an oil change today. The employee I spoke to said my vehicle would be ready in about an hour. I came back well over an hour later and my car was still waiting to be serviced. The employee said that we didnt get your car in yet with no explanation and no apology. I said I will take my car somewhere else. He said, No big deal. They just lost a loyal customer!

Love firestone!! Normally go to another location by my parents house but that location didnt have what my car needed (totally not their fault) so I opted to go to this location by my apartment. 10/10!! Not only was Dan so helpful on the phone and assured me they would be able to fit me in but that they also had the headlight bulb for my car in stock. Took about an hour or so and it was a comfortable wait. Dan was so nice and I am so happy they were able to accommodate me! Thank you all again 😊😊😊

Ive gotten good service here when I stayed and waited. I dropped off my car today (because theres a pandemic) and was very dissatisfied with the service. I made an appointment for 11:00 and was assured multiple times that the work could be completed today. 6 and a half hours later, all that got done was an oil change. Due to the staffs poor time management, I now have to bring my vehicle back on Monday for the requested repair to be done. It will be my last visit to this establishment.

Made an appointment online and at 7.30 a.m. told there are 11 people before us. Had to go up the block to Pepboys and got things done fast without appointment.

I dropped off my car at 11:30am, was never called that my car was ready to later be told, “ Oh I thought you said you’ll pick it up by 5pm “, when there was no discussion regarding that, than they install a new rim that’s not even compatible with my hub caps. So they mean to tell me here’s a new rim you can drive your car with one missing hub cap which makes you car look tacky ? That’s horrible costumer service and I hope they give me a compatible rim ASAP . Who ever order this rim should be reevaluated because this rim is clearly not compatible with my 2017 Nissan Sentra !

Love this place. Started going this year after my mechanic passed away. Never let anyone else touch my car, but as I needed a new place to service my Toyota after searching I was recommended this place, staff was very helpful and friendly the shop is very careful with the current covid situation so they take precautions, there are a lot of services available and check their website, you can schedule a drop off, i went in to ask about an appointment and they had everything I needed for my car, they also squeezed my car in and had it up and running in less than 4 hours on a Saturday. They went as far as to recommended to download coupons for extra savings and help me filling up my credit card account for Firestone and got extra discounts at the end. Not only they care about your car but also at your satisfaction as a customer. Will definitely continue to bring my car here.

Worst service ever. I made a appointment 2 days before and when dropping off the car was told hour and half to two hours,so decided to wait. Waited over 5 hours. Dont come here stay away, over booked and under staffed. If you cant handle the demand dont over book. Long time firestone customer with a more then 10 cars. Wont be returning to Firestone again.

They gave me cheap brake parts and charged me nearly $800 for the labor on top of it. Never recommending them or their shady credit check that gives you a hard inquiry on your credit score. I wish I could put no stars. Waste of money. And I got an awesome used tire and alignment check in Newark for way a decent price compared to Firestone. No thanks!

Beware of appt times and promises. Also technicians that dont have a clue or the tools to do it right. This was my second and last experience with them. Both times they said it a job would take 2 hours, both times ended up getting my car the next day. Its managements fault they hired a bunch of young guys that dont know how to do anything except check your car in and take your key . The rest is up to everyone else who doesnt know whats going on.. I actually made them take my car off the lift so I can bring it to another mechanic.

Brought my car in for mounting and balancing, with an appointment, at 9AM. It didnt go into the garage until 12:30PM. Its now 2:30PM and its still not done. Im looking into getting my mail forwarded here. I might die in this waiting room. Tell my family I love them.

I made tires replacement, and service was terribly SLOW, even having and appointment. They said job will take 1.5 or 2 hours, but I waited more than 3 hours. My car wasnt taken to garage during first 2 hours. Then I see my car is out and ask them if theyre done, they said wheels alignment check wasnt done, so tired of waiting I scheduled for Monday 7AM for that. Next time other 1.5 hour of waiting... really? going 7AM and you guys are so busy? Its unacceptable having appointments to wait so long, Id never bring my car here anymore.You better leave your car for all day here instead of waiting in place

I had a wonderful experience with their service. I had been to 3 tire places today and each one didnt have the size or make in stock, nor offered to special order it for me. These gentlemen did just that. Theyre very friendly and they have tremendous service! Highly recommended!

Let me be honest. Nobody enjoys having to fix a car. It cost money an usually happens at the worse time. I came in last minute when the store opened and Im happy I did. Didnt have an appointment I was just a walk in. Had a couple people waiting in the lobby before me. Had to get a new battery installed because the last one died. They took care of the old one and cleaned up the corrosion on the connectors. Took an hour an a half but what do you expect, I had people infront of me. It can get busy so always shoot for an earlier time. Bring a book and chill out why they work on your car. If you want it fixed right it takes time. All in all it cost 200 bucks totall. A little expensive in my opinion but my vehicles running nice now so worth it for last minute help. Thanks guys

I have been here a few times for oil changes. Not bad for the price & its convenient to my home. They are always polite. They pulled a stunt on my today though. My pick up is 9 years old. The front tires were in desperate need of replacement . It is a second vehicle so I let thing go too long.There was a full size spare and I had an old tire in decent shape that needed to be mounted in my garage. I called and asked if they would mount the old tire. The manager said no problem, bring the truck in. When I got there the kid at the desk told me that store policy was that used tires could not be installed. When I asked for the manager, he told me that the manager would tell me the same. The manager came over and told me that it would not be a problem, but he they were busy. This was not an issue for me. It was 4 pm, the store closed at 7 pm. I told him I would come for my truck in the morning. The store opens at 7 am. When I called at 9:30 am, the manager told me that the tire was over 10 years old and could not be installed - company policy. Kind of hard to believe the tire was over ten years old since the truck was 9 years old. The same manager had seen the tire the afternoon before but when I picked up the truck, he told that it was company policy.I have no problem with company policy, but the manager could have told me when I called - and could told me when I dropped off the truck. Why jerk people around?!

Theh really take your time for granted. I made an 8am appointment to have my 2 front tires replaced. I was told this would take an hour to complete, two and a half hours later my car still isn’t ready. Also, I had to ask for an update vs being updated. I see a lot of guys coming in and out laughing and talking while I continue to wait. Extremely inconsiderate. According to them I’m waiting on a wheel alignment, what I don’t understand is how customers who came in after me are getting wheel alignments before me. Safe to say I won’t be returning. Especially since there was 1 customer here the 1st hour I waited. Unacceptable.

This is one of, if not The best Firestone location. Friendly courteous service. Reliable time estimates for work being done. I can honestly say, I never had an issue with this location and try to go there for every routine maintenance and tire replacement.

Came here last night due to a sudden blowout and they were closing in 45 minutes but none the less got helped as soon as I walked in. Staff was very nice and threw on a tire in less than 20 minutes. Polite and fast service!

Time estimates arent that accurate. Theyre checks and diagnostics arent that reliable either. They have a great deal on tire alignment for life. Doing a synthetic oil change cost about $40 with coupons (including filter)

No had new tires plus the works. Thank God Ford was across the street. My vehicle was so bad. I thought the tires were coming off my car. But before I brought it to Ford. I took it to another Firestone. No Ford had to fix it. They even asked me were I had the bad job done. Firestone You will never see my vehicles again.

Great team here, convenient hours.Was here on 9/3 19, needed new TPMS sensors, the Mgr. John and Peter the Tech kept at it till the correct ones were located and installed and programmed correctly, very satisfied with them and Firestone.

We purchased lifetime Alignment and balancing for our vehicle. She went there to get the car re Align and balance because it was pulling left and shaking at 70 mph. She left the car and took Uber to go back to work and got back with Uber to pick up the car. They charger her another $80 for another “life time warranty” becomes your warranty expires with your tiles. I drove the car after we thought it fixed and everything was same like nothing has been done other than paying for $80. She goes back second time couple day later. Store manager said he will taking care the problem and they found one of the rim was banded that is why it was shaking they balanced and install in rear that why I don’t feel it. First question why they couldn’t find out this at first time? Yes it doesn’t shake any more but now we have flat tire light on because when they swap the tires they didn’t check the pressure. Rear tires get more pressure than Front ones and it’s label in front door. They haven’t done anything about Allignment and pools left again. She is going back 3rd time to get it fix in a week. We are very busy working people and no time for this kind non sense unreasonable customer service.

This place was straight forward and simple, which is all I could ask for. I came in without an appointment and told them what I thought needed work. They did the inspections and told me what I actually needed. Instead of 4 tires it was only 2 and brakes. John was process oriented and honest, giving updates along the way. This included the fact that their truck bringing supplies from down the street broke down. It means a lot to know what is going on rather than be left in the dark sitting frustrated. Thanks!

Nice clean place but man are they slow, been sitting for 3 hours just for a 15 min oil change. I only see one person ahead of me. If you come here then prepare to wait for a very long time.

I had gone to several diffrent tire shops to try and get my issue resolved but it was never perfect.Chris is the go to guy for trouble shooting and resolving stubborn Tire balancing issues. Very knowledgeable and professional service.After a few road tests and some adjustments it was finally driving smooth again.

Very bad attitude all around this last time. Talk to you and look at you as if you dont know anything. Will not admit when they are wrong and made a mistake on the brakes. Just keep pointing out the other problems on your car as if you dont already KNOW about them! Just replace my brakes already and stop making us wait. And by the way we have lifetime alignment so I asked for this service when I scheduled the appointment and didnt get it. Was told if they did it, the whole front end of my car would fall apart. Ridiculous staff and place. This place is not worth it anymore and I wont be back.

Poor customer service, I work for Google mapping. Took the vehicle in for an oil change.Told the customer service representative that Im not sure of the billing information, since I havent been able to get in touch with my operation lead. Gave him the address and my information. At the end of the day I recieved information and needed to change the phone number and name for the invoice. Called, Johnathan answered the phone, told him what I needed, he rushed me off the phone and said he will send me an email. Never recieved the email. Had to go in again. Another person helped, changed the information that I requested and let me know, the invoice has been completed they can not make changes. I said thats fine. He ensured me that the information is now updated. Let me take a picture of the screen for proof. As I was speaking to the rep, the guy that was on the phone that should have done is job, says out loud from inside somewhere that he sent me an email ( thats BS! ) since the information was not updated and was done in front of me with the rep that was helping me. I dont like being lied to twice. Maybe they should teach Johnathan some customer service. Waste of time!

I got my tires installed there a few months ago and they did a terrible job. After they installed them I kept feeling a shaking in my steering wheel over 60 mph and I thought is was a wheel balance issue, but it wasnt. I went there again to get them re balanced but the shaking continued, then I got a road force balance done there (which took them 8 hours to do) and they told me that I had bent rims which was not true. After spending a couple hundred bucks on wheel balances from other places I found out that they installed my tires incorrectly, got it redone and the shaking is gone. I think there machines must be badly calibrated. Anyway, im never going back there again.

Still waiting.. i came to the shop to fix my tires. Came to the store around 11:30am and its almost 4hrs waiting. The guy promise to be done 2 hrs but came still waiting for my 1 tire to be done. 1st time experienced this long waiting time. Been here for couple of times but this is by far the worst service ive been with firestone. Charlie seems selecting the customers to be service 1st. Such a waste of my time.

Which I was OK maybe a loyal customer but then I see they are given to do service car that came long time after me I went to question the reason their answer was with attitude I wont recomment this place to nobody.

Went there to replace my calipers, got in 9:30. to replace 1 caliper took them 7hrs for them to finish the job. Wasnt giving any updates while waiting jot to find out that the mechanic supposed to be working on my car was also working on another car. This was the second time of been there with such experience. They can do better on their waiting time

Dont get any service done by Gilbert. Hes gonna try to rip you off. Has no morale and witholding info is like his forte. Doesnt care about customer and yet his title is service Mgr. Had good previous experience. Kurt and Chris deserve more than Gilbert.

Gil at Hackensack Firestone is very helpful when he explains the situation about the car. He is always very busy, but he has a pleasant disposition and takes the time to talk with you. I have dealt with Gil for many years and he is one of the reasons that I return to Firestone.

Guy tells me about one hour for tire patch, fine. 45 mins later my cars is still sitting in the same place. It seems like employees just say what you want to hear in the moment. When I inquired about the wait time he told me it would take another hour and a half. Why lie about somthing like this? Complete waste of time.

I went to replace all 4 tires. The wait was going to about 2 hours. I was shocked but I really needed the tires done. As they inspected the car they then told me that my back brakes needed to be replaced. Now, I waiting in this freezing place. I asked them why is it so cold I was told that they never realized it... not happy being cold and waiting. It has now been 2 hours and 45 mins of waiting....The staff are nice but the wait is ridiculous!!!

Ive used Firestone more than a few times, for tire and repair needs, and thought that they were OK. I came in with my car problems, they looked and gave a quote, I chose what I wanted done, they did, I paid and left.HOWEVER, these guys really shined through when I needed them:1. Seven years ago, I bought my first set of tires from Firestone.They found a great set that happened to be on sale (Ecopia).I also purchased a service plan that gave free wheel rotation andalignment for as long as I owned the car. THEYVE HONORED THATDEAL SINCE DAY 1, WITHOUT HESITATION.2. Last year, one of my tires hit a nail and went flat. I came in, and they fixed it for free, even if it was at the cusp of the tire warranty period. BTW, the tires (Ecopia) were great all the way past the service life.3. Just this month, I changed all my tires and bought a brand new set. I have a 13+ year old car, and after installation, they worked with me to make sure that I got the right tires balanced and installed perfectly. I love my Firestone Destination LEs. Theyre so quiet and steady that I can go to 85mph and 90+ (on long straight downhills), and I cant tell unless I look at the speedometer.In summary, this Firestone dealership works with the efficiency and professional service of a well-oiled corporate machine (computerized and all), but with the customer relations service of a familiar, old, small-town shop.

Did my homework and went on their web site for a tire price. The price was $139.99 with NO SPECIAL internet pricing. When I called to confirm they had the tires in stock they told me yes, just to check the honesty of the company I asked the price, the scam man, I mean salesman told me $190.00 each, when I questioned the difference he said bring the printed ad in. Dont they have a computer to check? and isnt that kind of calling me a liar. Time to find a better deal on Amazon, too bad, lost my business.
