I felt the employee’s breath grazing my neck and her eyes stabbing my back. The owner has a terrible sense of satire that only him and the people he pays get. There are other fabric stores around the area, you will have much better luck there.

Good selection. Unpleasant costumer service. Expect to make a decision under 5 minutes or you may be ridiculed for not knowing what you want.Con: I walked into the store midday to get fabric for a dress. They do have a wide selection. I wanted to browse their selection for future reference as I need different types of materials for different projects. However, the owner rushed me to get what I am here for. He kept rushing me to make a decision right away and got really agitated. I probably took about 5 minutes of the owner’s precious time but he seemed so annoyed that I couldn’t be any faster. At the end, I told him I will come back later because he was so unpleasant. He threw the bolt on the counter huffing and puffing. He must be doing really well to treat a costumer like that.Pros: He does seem very confident and knowledgeable about his items. They do have good selections, and items that I did not see at other stores. I might be a good place to go if you know exactly what you want.

Adrian is very knowledgeable about the fabrics he carries in his store and sewing. I wanted to combine 2 contrasting machine wash fabrics for a dress and was directed to...a couple hundred bolts. Based on his suggestions, I completed my dress without leftovers and it turned out fabulous! Great selection of fabrics and notions and a wealth of knowledge to boot. Adrian has a great sense of humor too. Will be back very soon!!

Broadway Fabrics is just wonderful! I was looking for the perfect fabric for my portfolio and finding this store was a miracle. The fabrics where arranged so neatly and the store itself had a aesthetic sense. Adrian was such a delight! He helped me pick the right fabric for my portfolio and was a helpful guide when it came to choosing which fabrics worked best. Stopped in here for the first time this afternoon and was blown away by the selection. Broadway Fabrics offers hard to find fabrics, including wool and linen, the other stores could only dream of. Additionally, they offer all kinds of top quality trims and buttons, and their staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Adrian is so wonderful. I look forward to returning soon.

I had a wonderful experience today at Broadway Fabrics. I came in today for fabric for a special occasion dress, that I was having custom made. The owner has a keen eye for colors and fabrics that work well together.I am very thankful for all his advice and help. The lace and satin he suggested are stunning! Will definitely be back!

I have shopped from soo many fabric stores in NJ but this fabric store is my favorite. The items are very organized and they carry a wide variety of fabrics. This store was referred to me by another fabric store. The lady told me if you dont find what you are looking for there, you wouldnt find it anywhere. The owner is very interesting. He made my visit there exciting. I wanted to buy 2 yards of a jeans fabric. He had only 2 yards and three quarters left. Amazingly, he gave the three quarters for free. If you are trying to find great fabrics at an affordable place, this would be a place to visit.

Adrian and his assistant were so helpful and pleasant. I thought it was going to be somewhat difficult to find fabric to match my dress, but I was in and out within 15 minutes. Extremely enjoyable experience.

So rude. I called about what I was looking for. Came in and it wasn’t exactly what I wanted so I showed him a picture. He proceeded to berate me and tell me he can’t help me because he doesn’t know what part of China the fabric could have been made and I should essentially be happy with what he showed me.

I received EXCELLENT SERVICE. They were patient and helped me to find the perfect piece for my living room chair. You must come here if you are looking great fabric at a great price!

The Owner was so extremely helpful! Not only did he pick out the perfect fabric for me to add onto my wedding dress, but he did not try to up sell me AT ALL. He told me to take this small amount and if I needed more to come back. I would highly recommend this place and wish I knew of it sooner :-)

TERRIBLE! don’t waste your time here. My gf and I walked in just browsing at what kinds of fabric they have, because we were in the area and would have liked to purchase in the future. Immediately upon entering we were approached by the owner, asking us if we needed anything. I responded with “no we’re just looking. thank you”. He then went to say in order for us to be able to browse, it would be $5. That made my gf and I very uncomfortable. I asked if he was serious (unsure if he was joking or not) and he responded with “I have to pay rent”. Extremely rude! NEVER WILL COME BACK HERE AGAIN. Your business has lost two potential customers.

Best fabric store in NJi love going to this place, i buy all sorts of fabric to make clothes for my granddaughter and her toys and i love going to this store.i have been to other store in Jersey but this one is by far the best one, they have huge selection of all kinds of fabrics and accessories to match it like thousands of buttons.and to top it all the owner is a real joker always has something to say that will put a smile on anybodys face.

My experience was wonderful. The store is full of all kinds of fabrics you could never not find what you want in there, Broadway has it all. The staff was very friendly and accessible. They dont make fabric stores like this anymore. I live in Huntsville, Alabama and I plan on being in the area this summer, and yes I will be visiting Broadway Fabrics.

Horrible! I went in and the lady at the desk was on her phone. I dont know if she thought I was going to steal something but she suddenly insisted to follow me around, still on her phone. When she finally asked if I needed any assistance, I asked if she knew the difference between a couple of materials And if there were other color choices. She was of no help. She was more concerned about her merchandise than helping a potential customer and making a sale. Well at least she still has her merchandise.

Most wonderful selection of fabrics this side of the Hudson River -at better prices!Adrian is a tasteful and experienced guide in understanding what really works for whatever your fabric needs are. Buttons are probably more impressive than anywhere.Highly recommend this Hackensack treasure.

If you have not found time to visit this great fabric store now is the time to go.Adrian, the owner, has been a great supporter for my volunteer efforts in supplying thousands of yards of material in making cancer hats for Hackensack University Hospital, Holy Name Hospital and Englewood Hospital to be given out to their cancer patients. I could not have done it without his generous contribution.Please, when you go please be sure to thank him for supporting our community. You will find this quaint little store will have all your needs. Love it.

The owner was very helpful but the lady working was not to helpful.

Walked in to the store and the proprietor asks, Can I help you? Told him I was looking for cotton fabric for a quilt Im planning. He asks how much I needed and I told him I wasnt sure yet. He told me to come back when I know how much I need. I told him I was still in the planning stage of the project and he refused to even let me see what he had. I guess his business must be doing very well if he can just turn customers away without hesitation. Ill NEVER go back into that place and wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Hes arrogant and rude and I wouldnt spend a dime in that store. Worst customer service Ive ever encountered.

Most unpleasant experience. The owner was very pushy and arrogant; the information I had received from him was not accurate to say the least. He actually told me that nobody produces pure rayon fabrics anymore when I asked for them - that was really funny... Well, I got it online that very evening. I am not planning to visit this store again. His approach will probably work for people who do not know much about the subject, and therefore trust whatever nonsense they are fed, but not for an experienced dressmaker. Pathetic...

I ordered on line and the service was excellent. Wish I could live in New Jersey.

Wow!!! What a selection and accomodating staff. I met with Ady the owner and he walked me through every step of what I needed. I am starting my own collection and he helped me figure out what fabric I should use and the qty needed. What a gem. WHo needs to go to NY to shop!!!
