Horrible, 4 weeks wait for delivery and when it did arrive there was missing items.No one mention that will be some missing items and they didnt refund the money as well.On the other hand thank you so much for reminding me why i am in the US, most of it because Israelis customer service.
If I could l give them zero stars I would! Save your time and your money and stay away from them! They say they will ship within 7-10 days, that’s a pure lie! You can’t reach them over the phone, and they barley answer the emails you send them usually avoid providing any answers. When they sent the things they “forgot” to inform us they didn’t have some of the products we already payed for and just figured we won’t notice things is missing! Had to chase them to get our money back, then they said they will ship the things ‘this week’ never got them. And they stopped answering our emails. STAY AWAY if you love yourself and want to avoid headaches and stress!
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Im not sure whats their issue, but orders are slow, promisses are unkept. Ordered products August 4th. After a statement from the merchant that it takes 5-7 business days to ship, a label was created on August 16 and shipment went out August 19, as of today FedEx lost it, in Hackensack. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
I should have read the Google reviews before making a purchase. It has been three months since I bought items from their store. I am yet to receive my complete order even though my order has been paid in full.
They have genuine Israeli snacks and if you do receive the products, its great. Last year, I made an order, but it took 2 months to get my order. It wasnt my full order, but they gave me a refund for the missing products and blamed it on COVID.I ordered again this year thinking it was just a COVID ordeal, etc. However, I had the exact same issue. You have to constantly email them and remind them about your order and they have plenty of excuses. I filed a complaint with Paypal and they quickly rush shipped my order. Even so, the order was incomplete, missing 1/3 of my order and this time I did not get a refund. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this business.
Do not buy!! its a SCAM!ordered 70$ worth food back in Feb 19 (over a month ago), didnt get anything. The website promises 5 business days, when asking in an email i was told that orders are typically shipping out within 7-10 business days- reasonable during covid times.When I asked again a day before Passover eve, I was told that We’re still waiting on the necessary shipment to arrive to us, but are expecting it today. We’ll then fulfill your order accordingly. not really clear how a kosher store promises to receive and ship non-kosher items during Passover.I actually replied, mentioning this basic fact, to which they responded that they dont deal with non-kosher items during Passover.So they sell items that are not in stockTheir website gives false information regarding processing and shipping time line.they give false information about shipment times, about expected deliveries etcIts a month and a half and i have a feeling im not getting anything from them.
Same products can be found in Amazon,With a little more money however with McKolet The shipping cost end the two months delivery, that’s how long I waited for my delivery it’s cheaper and more officiant And less aggravating to shop at Amazon. I I would not recommend Makolet to no one, there is no one you can get in touch with, no customer service, no service!!!!!

Despite the disturbing reviews I read below (and I hope the merchant has resolved their issues), my order was shipped earlier than the 8-11 business day window they note on the website. They were also courteous and helpful in my communications with them.
They stole my money!They never sent my products and when I asked them after two months whats going on they said they would immediately send my order.They lied and kept lying and I never saw my order until finally I asked to cancel. Well, they did that in less than a second, but they just canceled my order with no refund. When I tried to ask for the refund they stopped the communication with me. They are liars and thieves and it is pure Gezel! Shame on you for taking advantage of people who miss their home like this.
Terrible experience! Beware, and stay away from them!In short, I’ll just say that I’m highly disappointed with the shopping experience I’ve had with them. Items marked ‘in stock’ surprisingly become unavailable AFTER you pay, missing items, HUGE delays with no explanations, zero communication with the client, no way to reach them over the phone, HORRIBLE customer service and blunt lies. That was my experience. I don’t recommend dealing with them. I’m never coming back.
Waited awhile for the package to arrive, but it was worth it. The items I bought were in good condition and the food was great. Best honey ever! Also bought some bittersweet chocolate, it was very tasty. During while I waited I emailed them, they emailed me back telling me what was going on and gave me a time frame of when it will ship. It shipped exactly the day they told me it would. I see there has been a lot of bad reviews, but personally I actually had excellent service and bought some amazing food items.
On Jan 02 2021 I placed an order for roughly $63 worth of things including usps priority 2 day shipping. I have not received my order as of Mar 17 2021 and have not received a shipment notification either. I have emailed several times for status. I did receive responses to my emails. The first advised me that they were waiting on product before they could fill my order. The second time, they said an associate there placed my order on address validation hold unnecessarily. I asked to either cancel the order if they hadnt taken the money or ship the product if they had taken the money. I knew they had taken the money but wanted to see what would happen. They advised that they would have their warehouse ship asap as the order had already been paid. I wish I had read reviews before ordering. I would have ordered elsewhere. The latest communication was on Mar 10 2021, when they advised they would have the warehouse ship asap. If I ever receive the products I ordered, I will update my review. As for now, it has been over 60 days and my order has not been shipped.
I understand the current situation with the virus spreading, but I ordered items 3 months ago and they have not shipped yet, although when u call them all you get is a recording that says they are shipping within 7-10 business days. I understand that they sell items that are very hard to find elsewhere if at all. But most likely you will not receive your order. Avoid if possible. Wish I read the other reviews before I ordered from them

Lots of needed stuff here, good store. you do have to wait a while to receive anything, but its worth the wait considering you literally cannot get it any other way

We are generally mostly happy with Makolet products, but this time we ordered a case of Elite strawberry filled chocolates and all twelve arrived beyond stale. The filling was completely dry, the chocolate crumbly and tasted oily, so much so that they were inedible, and had to be thrown away.I would have expected the seller to take them off the shelves and notify me before shipping. What a disappointment.
We ordered some stuff on July seventh. It is now September ninth.We never got our order, our calls are not answered. This place is like bibi. Lots of promises that are not kept. Stay away from it
Orders are not sent, owner keeps replying to mails that he’s sending “soon” for weeks and weeks now. Seems like he left the business because he is not sending even parts of the order that he may have in stock.
This business is a joke. They ALWAYS have delays and they are not even updating you- you just need to wait, sometimes for weeks with no idea how long it would take. They don’t know what customer service is and don’t answer phone calls or emails on time. BEWARE !!!
I ordered 2.5 weeks ago and my order has not arrived yet. I understand the situation, but this is an online store that should have a problem shipping items. They are not answering phones (there is a recording they are closed) and I cannot get data about my order. I expected maybe 7-10 days because of the situation, but I am waiting much more and the service is bad.
This was my experience,i ordered online the products that showed as IN STOCK on June 11th.On June 14th i emailed the store, they replied that duo to covid-19 it will take them 7-10 business days, On June 21 i emailed again, nothing, on June 27 emailed again, this time i ask my money back, suddenly i got tracking, i checked only part of the items were shipped, emailed back asking wth ?? they said that the item i ordered, that showed IN STOCK is not available and they will send me something else, on June 18 another mail, asking my money back, on June 29 they send tracking with the substitute items that i didnt want but had no choise. good luck.
Received a food item that expires in less than 3 months has normally has a 2 year expiration date. Called to complain and simply get a tape recording. So far, no response - no call back. Obviously, fresh food and good customer service is not part of their business plan.
I used to buy from them for couple of years. Shipping was always slow and expensive but products were good. My last order of close to a $100 which included extra charge for expedited shipping was never fulfilled. At this point, almost couple of months, I am out of my money and no merchandise. Filed a dispute claim with the credit card company. Beware of this company as you may never get your merchandise. They charged my credit card immediately at time of order but never sent me the merchandise.

I was buying from them for a few years now. The shipping, which was never free, used to be faster. In the last few months they shippe (last 2 orders) the stuff in the last allowable day.Obviously, they have a policy of making customer wait as long as possible. Is waiting 2 weeks plus for a purchase is okay?
