This UPS store is excellent. I would rather mail an item at this UPS location over the Post Office any day!! Elaine is very nice and professional. I wish I could mail my items that require a PO Box at this UPS Location than the Post office. If you are in the Hackensack area, you might want to consider using this UPS location over the Post Office

An amazing store. There is usually one 1-2 employees so that means there will be a wait, but once you get to the front they have you done in 1-2 minutes. They also deliver quickly. If you live in the area you know that UPS is the way to go because USPS (the post office) loses packages all the time. I always prefer to go to this location for my mail services.

People walked out without masks on like there isn’t a pandemic going on!!! Also I was shooed away by the guy who I guess works there - also wasnt wearing a mask. VERY RUDE! Sorry didn’t realize your hours had changed, but maybe don’t leave the door wide open as if you’re open????? Take your business to Maywood or Teaneck, much better customer service. . . AND MASKS ARE MANDATORY.

I’ve been coming here for 10+ years and I am surprised to read some of these reviews. This is a STORE not a charity service. You are not entitled to anything. Not even free tape. If you come unprepared, the store has every right to charge you to prepare the package. Why? Because the alternative is that you need to leave the store, go to a different store and buy a roll of tape or stop home for tape. Then return to UPS store to ship it. The $1 seems like a small price to pay now that you realize the hassle it saves you, doesn’t it? The amount of time you would have wasted doing all of that. If they gave free tape to everyone, it would become a major expense. Grow up and realize that, as an adult, if you come unprepared you are not entitled to anything “for free” in a store.Also, good and fast notary here. Most convenient in town.

I come here all the time when i need to send anything. The staff is always very helpful and pleasant whenever I go there, especially the owners, Frank and Denise. They really are knowledgeable and courteous. The location being extremely convenient is a bonus! Id recommend everyone go here for any shipping, packing, etc needs. Top notch!

I come here to print things, ship and for notary service. They are always helpful, thorough and respectful. Very nice staff and even when it is busy, it is worth waiting for their help. I know I will be taken care of. It is worth paying the $1 for tape when I come in unprepared ;)

Staff refuses to wear a mask even tho they’re dealing with different customers all day long. They had it just hanging around their neck with the excuse that they “couldn’t breathe well with the mask on”. Totally shows disregard for their own and others health. Definite turnoff. Should not be allowed near customers.

This place is hit or miss. The guy at the front desk can either be incredibly rude or very helpful. Really depends on the type of day that hes having but if thats the case he shouldnt be customer facing. If you want supreme customer service go to the UPS store in Teaneck on Cedar Lane

Ive had a PO box here for about 6 years and they are AWESOME Denise and her crew are super friendly and bend over backwards for you. Some really great people I enjoy seeing every day.And to those who complain about paying $1 for tape or whatever... I know its frustrating because you may be going in there to deal only with UPS, dropping off a package for them etc.. but the problem is, these are privately owned mom and pop stores that are in affiliation with UPS.UPS really put these owners in a bad position by having them be the face of UPS but not supporting them or paying for their supplies etc. Its a weird setup because all of these stores used to be the company MailboxEtc.

If you want things done right go to this store! For those of you complaining about the tape charges this is an independently owned franchise. If 100 people walk in and need tape is the owner just supposed to lose money on rolls and rolls of tape? Get a grip. Tape your own box before you arrive especially if it is just a drop off!

Never coming here again! The gentleman working at the front desk is so rude. I had a package that I wanted to send (5 lbs) to North Carolina, and they wanted to charge me 55.00!! From NJ! After I told them nevermind (in a very nice way) the gentleman told me that I have to pay 9.00 for the box. 9.00?!!!! I apologized for the miscommunication and he told me that it doesnt matter and insisted I purchase the box. He spoke rudely to me and rolled his eyes. When I asked the manager if this is how he provides customer service, he replied and said I woulda lost it a long time ago!!! Never coming here again - if you want customer service your better off going to the post office! I shipped the same box for 13.00 and was greeted with a smile!

Was forced to pay $1 for tape after the package was scanned in and when confronted the Owner/manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. He tried to present it as a charge to cover his expense for the tape but dude you barely needed 5 cents worth of tape and you know youre making a profit on charging people. When I asked to see where the surcharge was listed he pointed towards a sign which was in front of me behind the monitor where it was not listed he then pointed to a bunch of different signs one of which had the fee buried at the bottom of a long list of other charges ( not at all obvious like he tried to make it seem) when I said Ive never been charged before he said i need to find out which of my employees are not charging. If the charge was nominal like say 5 cents or 10 cents its still understandable but $1 is just exploitative and almost seems like a charge used to discourage people from asking for the service. To Top it all off the way the Owner/manager started swearing at me at my saying [the fee] seems a little ridiculous really took me by surprise and was totally uncalled for. He tried using some failed analogy about not giving things for free where I work to which I responded depends on what it is. I rhetorically asked if shoprite charges him for a shopping bag which they pay for and he responded they do now 5 cents Yeah.... not a dollar friend.

I have never had such a horrible experience with any company as I just had today with this UPS store retailer. I needed a notary and went in yesterday morning to have some documented notarize. Simple right? Well there one was one form that needed to be notarized as well. As I asked the obnoxious Frank who is the notary public, if I needed to have the 2nd form signed and witness and sealed as well he said no. I than said are you sure because this was important to me and I needed it done correctly. He said no again. I said well lets do it anyway because I didnt want have to come back if it indeed had to do it. He said no, it was for the other party. This was after my total amount came to $42.00.Hence today, I got a e-mail from my attorney and said that the 2nd form was not completed and that it needed to be done and sent overnight again. So I went back to the location to get have the problem corrected. Of course he corrected the actual form but I asked him would I have to pay $35.00 to overnight HIS MISTAKE, began to scream and shout at my husband and I in front of the store employee and customers. I told him that I thought it was unfair for me to pay that amount again, even after asking him to lets go ahead and fill out the form and notarize it and if it was wrong then let it be.... because it needed to be done correctly and I didnt want to return. He got directly into my husband face and told him, screaming at him, I am not a lawyer!!! It is not my job to know what you need to have sign or not!!!As a normally calm person I am this arrogant jerk had me steaming. His rudeness and behavior way totally uncalled for. Myself will never ever step foot into this business again and I will tell any friend (or stranger) to do business with the UPS in Maywood, NJ. I ended up going to the Post Office in Hackensack and had the documents sent overnight... the total price was $19.99. So in the end I got screwed more than one way.
