Cool place for kids or adults. Lots of crafts and they run card games in the back. Definitely check it out.

The dragons hoard might be the best place for a group of people trying to make a new D&D campaign, or to find everything Magic the Gathering. The location is great! And there even are private sections for card openings and for playing.Unfortunately, the store clerk that helped my friend and I immediately dropped his warm attitude as soon as I mentioned that I played Yu-Gi-Oh. No Yu-Gi-Oh he said coldly, and only the build and battle stadium for Pokemon he mentioned when my friend said he wanted to get into tcg for Pokemon.He fortunately let us use one of the tables all the way at the bottom of the store to open our cards, but Im definitely not coming back here. This place could have been the best hangout for my friends and I.I wish they had Yu-Gi-Oh content there, but more importantly, I dont want to be treated like some loiter just because I like a different card game than the store clerks.

Nice D&D selection, and though not a ton of GW minis or board games its a solid selection and I found everything I was looking for. Very nice owner, and a really nice space for playing in the adjacent room. Glad I stopped by!

Great local card shop. Always have the newest magic the gathering products and even some older stuff and a pretty large collection of singles. Very friendly and knowledgeable!

I visited The Dragons Hoard after traveling 40 minutes for a high stakes Magic tournament which I won, so I may be biased. Having said that, I always strive to take an objective view. The store is clean, well staffed, stocked to the brim(check the fridge in the back) and their staff are kind to a fault. We were provided homemade cookies the day of the event. Visit The Dragons Hoard with reasonable expectations and you will not be disappointed, I assure you.Parking is behind the building, all the way behind it, and quarter street parking is there too. You have 2 breweries nearby in similar directions (take a right after exiting) which are equal in my opinion, though the closer (the people with kilts) is smaller. I suggest a nice beverage to assure your happiness and success. It worked for me.Oh, and tell Craig to have a nice day. He is simply a fantastic guy. I can tell he loves Tolkien because of his shirts. I can tell he is splendid because of his presence.

Its a pleasure to come in and grab my TTRPG supplies. Im a first time DM and have been running my Curse of Strahd [D&D 5e] game for 15 sessions now (probably about 8 months or so) and its always great to come in and chat about how its been going! Ive certainly put in an investment here among the supplement/adventure books and spontaneous dice purchases. Its great to support a local business that really cares about its customers. I honestly wish I could come around more often!

Just encountered a fake Pokemon Mewtwo card from XY Evolutions on ebay and the seller said they got it from this store. are you selling counterfeit pokemon cards? maybe receiving fakes thinking theyre real? please be on the lookout, many counterfeits are out there. if the cards have generic font on them and if the cellophane wrapping paper on the packs is loose and glossy, those are dead giveaways to counterfeits

The Dragons Hoard is a great place to play and get games. The owner is very informative and knows the games well. This store also has other games such as Dungeons and Dragons and Magic:the gathering. Speaking of which the magic community is wonderful. Theyre all very nice and willing to help out, especially to new players. I could see and hear that every player was truly enjoying themselves while playing MTG and chowing down on Davila’s delicious food. I’d like to add that your wife, Mary, was instrumental in my getting through the day by pitching in wherever necessary and without even being asked. Everything was great about this shop except for the one thing they really cant control: the customers. The place is clean, well stocked, and the staff are pretty chill dudes, but it feels like every person who was an actual customer was an absolute dreg of society who smelled and had death in their eyes from you having the gall to enter their territory. If its your only option for game supplies then its okay just dont look anybody in the eyes.

Ive visited this store for hosted game sessions several times. The staff is wonderful and kind. The stores inventory is extensive and varied; many of the products are also applicable to the many game nights the store hosts. Thank you for being a great location and for hosting some wonderful memories! Cant wait to go back!

Went for my first DnD everyone was great at helping me learn the basics of the game, I am looking forward to coming again next week only downside was game runs a little late 1130pm but that is really the only negative thing i can think of. Over all great people and a great environment.Update, between the great DMs wonderful players, and super friendly owner I have been going every Monday the only downside is they are at or nearing maximum capacity. Prices are great, and AL is free. Needless to say I am happy to give one of the few evenings I have off each week to game here.

Every time we go in, the entire staff knows everything about every game in stock, and give perfect personal reviews so that we understand what type of game we want to buy that day. We usually spend about 30 mins to an hour just asking about games!

I was recently looking for a game store to play Magic: The Gathering at and after a quick Google search came across this venue which held a standard event on Friday, like most stores.For those of you in the community, you know how awkward and sometimes downright unpleasant moving to a new store can be so at first I was a little hesitant to head over.I could not have been more wrong. The staff and owner foster an amazing atmosphere in the store, and the events are run spectacularly well. The play groups and people that frequent the store are of the utmost quality, and form a healthy mix of new and old players.The prices are great, and the stock is sublime (although I would have liked to see a few cheaper options for playmats available).I cannot recommend this store more, whether you are a seasoned veteran Spike or a Timmy just starting out you can count on The Dragons Hoard being your new home.

This store was amazing. The owner was nice and patient while I browsed with two kids a a seeing eye puppy. This store was the only one out of many I called around north Jersey that carried exactly what I was looking for and the prices were VERY comparable or better then the internet. Over all this place was awesome and I highly recommend it.

Please make this your one stop shop if youre looking for board games.They have a large selection of games and the owner is probably one of the most knowledgeable and passionate guys out there when it comes to table top gaming. I literally can pull out names of games Ive found online at random and he has played it and can give you a breakdown of what gameplay is like and his personal recommendation, as well as similar games in the same vein.He is a wealth of knowledge and his selection of games instore really speaks to his expertise. We have not purchased a game there that we havent loved. Some of our favorites include:Betrayal at House on the Hill (and its expansion)Boss MonstersQuacks of QuendlingbergRed FlagsJust for some examples. Its a great little place. And we will continue to make it our go to for table top gaming.
