I will recommend specific Target stores and NOT others. The Hagerstown Target is out of stock of a large quantity of items. I have never seen shelves so empty. The items that are out of stock seem random and unrelated to COVID supply chains. For example, there were no adult toothbrushes, but plenty of kids toothbrushes along with toothpaste and mouthwash.

Pretty good overall. they didn’t have copies of fifty shades of grey. I was quite disappointed since I am in charge of choosing this months novel for my book club. Margret will be quite dissatisfied but I shouldn’t get kicked out of the group since I’ve been in it for 15 years. anyways! Love you guys 🍷✝️💗

The new renovations in this Target are awesome.

Each time I have been to a Target store, there is never anyone at the department sales desk. This time was truly frustrating. I purchased a new cell phone. Clerk had trouble finding it. I had to show her were it was. When I questioned the price, she showed me a different phone. Then I was told there was no tech to install my card in my new phone. However, I could go to Frederick or Martinsburg to a tech which was 25-30 miles away. When I asked about a case for my phone, she had to call for some else to help. He said no case available, wasnt sure were I would find one.

Clean, well laid out. All staff wore their masks properly- the one customer I saw without a mask was addressed by a clerk and asked (politely, but firmly) to put the mask on or be escorted out. Nicely put together store overall and (for the most part) well stocked.

I like the quality of merchandise and ordering online. Its easy and fast to receive! I also love that they have pull up and pick up.

I made two group purchases today, one from Target and the other from a competitor. The Target website and app were much easier to navigate than the competitor’s website.I received a notification from the competitor that my order was ready for in-store pickup, but when I went inside their associate told me my order was not ready.When I placed my order in the Target app, I was informed immediately that one item would not be available for pickup. When I went into my local Target, the associate took my information, retrieved my order and informed me about the one missing item. I was very pleased with the customer service.Once home, I found how easy it is to have that last item transferred to another location. While writing this review, I was informed that it is now ready.I will use Target app and on-line and in-store for my future purchases before I will again use the competitor. Thank you for good service and for a positive experience.

The cashier was very friendly and he also complimented my hair and style. :) Very nice guy.

This was a busy day at Target, they only had 3 self serve registers open. The one register that they actually paid a person to work at had a long line, and I dont work for these corporations and never will...hire some cashiers!

Don’t normally review but our local Target has dramatically gone downhill. The bathrooms are filthy. They look like a truck stop. Even the store itself is dirty and not stocked. It looks unkept. Very disappointing.

Quick shopping and super duper fast delivery to car. I have done curbside pickup at many stores due to a lung condition making it risky to go inside. Most of the time, after I check in, I have to wait for at least 20 minutes. But, here at Target, less than 2 minutes!! I had gotten out a book and everything, ready to wait, lol, but hadnt even found my page before my items were at the car.

Staff was very polite and didnt just throw my items in the car.

I have recently discovered Target pick-up at this location and you cannot beat the customer service. I keep meaning to get his name but the man working on the weekday mornings for the drive-up customers is absolutely wonderful. Always so friendly and smiling, even today when it was cold and raining. What a great service to offer, it saves me so much time and hassle with my newborn baby. Thank-you Hagerstown Target!

Horrible customer service. After waiting in line for 20 mins cashier leaves and says shes going on break. No warning, just left. There were at least 20more people in line. I understand that new people are being hired but this was ridiculous.

Target was wonderful to me today, as always. I had been to 2 other stores earlier in the day looking for something and they were all sold out. But, when I got here, Target had it! I should have just come here first. Target always has everything!!

When we werent able to find the item in the store, a rep went above and beyond to search for the item but was not successful. We discussed other options such as ship to store. They gave me the code needed to get the exact item we were looking for. Once I ordered my item it was there for pick up at the store the very next day.

Love the whole process except with Covid-19 you can not pick up some items with us stupid .. we pick up our order then park and go into the store to get water and some other stuff kinda defeats the purpose...

Love Target! They have everything for everyone and not to overpriced! I love the dollar bins for our prize box! The kids look forward to doing their chores and helping out at the house now.

After waiting over 15 to 20 minutes in line because there was only 2 registers open, I got to the cash register and the cashier is trying to give change to the customer in front of me. About 6-8 dollars in change. She had no bills. When asked why the cashier didnt have dollar bills, she said there was no one who could get her change. This is the second time I was there with and long check out line with 2 cash registers. Poor management.

Target NEVER disappoints! Every time I go there are new products, most of the time it’s things that I’ve been wanting to try but didn’t have an easy way to get them. Just today I found Nut Pods creamers and fell upon a brand new food item line called Good & Gather, simple but thoughtful and seemingly wholesome products and ingredients. The fall clothing selection is modern and so pretty right now and their Halloween/fall items are especially fun this year. All of the employees at my Target are as friendly as they come, just all around a family friendly and convenient place. Bonus, there’s a Starbucks and on and off a cartwheel coupon for 20% off! 🎯 💕

Very useful store; go frequently. The only store I can find the low-cal, fat free tarter sauce for fish and low sugar ketchup. Adult womens clothing could be better quality and more appropriate to women working in an office.

Very long lines at the checkout and the staff unwilling to call for more help.

Order wasnt ready so they told me I could go get it off the shelf when I got it they wanted to cancel it and recharge my card which would take two days to show up on my card after recharging again when I had already paid for it online. Told them how much I hated target cause I never shop there and the manager let me take my product and go and she had a bad attitude.

Unfortunately this problem isn’t just an isolated issue, it’s a huge issue that I’m running into with almost every company... they say that they are making changes for covid 19 and this awful time we’re ALL dealing with right now but I can’t find something online, pay for it online and either pick it up curbside or have it shipped; most products say in store purchase only and so we’re being forced to come in the stores while being told to stay home! I just recently purchased hair color, of all things & I had to walk in the store to get it and toilet paper & napkins and other supplies that are hard to find right now, they all aren’t available to pay online and pick up or have shipped so again, we’re forced to come into stores up track these supples down. Please fix this!

I cant believe this Target sells expired baby food. I purchased this Gerber Apple Avocado baby food on December 3rd. Turns out to be expired on August 2019. I ordered this online and picked up from shore. As a mother of 8 months old, I have always purchased everything for my baby from Target, this is just rediculous for them to sell expired baby food. Take precautions on stuff you purchase for your baby from this place.

Warning! This is a dangerous place!I went in today to buy three basic grocery items. I left with 16, from four departments in total. There are far too many really useful things here, and too many knowledgeable staff people that can help you find them.Add to that a neat and very well organized area devoted to womens fashion at very low prices. There are too many temptations to spend.If youre like me and have no will power, make a list before you go in, and stick to it. Otherwise you might get into serious trouble.

Nice place to work, shop, pick up prescriptions and also to have an eye exam and get glasses.

The items in the store have great prices, and has just about anything that you might need. i was very happy with how helpful the employees were.

Employees have no knowledge of their own store, had to rely on the website to find the item I needed when visiting, they could try training their employees better in order to run the business properly.

The technician in the phone area was very polite and helpful. The lady in th pictures wad also very courteous.

Service is fine stars. Front end lead went out of their way to ease my red card pin troubles. Couldnt have asked for better help and support. Also the employees stocking went out of their ways to make room for our family, and actually take is to what we couldnt find, to make sure we found everything we were in need of.Id rate it a perfect score, except it needs to be bigger. I had coupons from the Target and for items that were not carried at this location. Please give this town a huge Target with a full sized grocery section. Thank you.

I was on the hunt for Pokemon cards and had stopped at multiple Walmarts only to find out they had none. which then made me think, will i ever find them? luckily i went to this Target ( where i have always been able to find anything i needed ) and found them! i found so much. so thank you Target for being my lifesaver. Target has a fairly new service that is the drive up pick up or something its named like that. Its a great idea. I ordered 2) 7 by 10 foot large rugs, one from the Hagerstown store and one from the Martinsburg store. This drive up pick up service makes the items available 2 hours after I place the order on my app and they bring it out... I guess Lol. In Hagerstown,I arrived late and it was tricky at night for me to find the drive-up parking spots, but they were there and very conspicuous. Just more red and white which at night wasnt enough with all the red shopping cart signs. I dont know, I am on the keto diet and I was so hungry! Lol Anyway, I parked and again my Target app didnt have a way for me to notify the store that I was sitting out there. So Chelsea and Cheryl ** while theyre on their break** come to help. I didnt beckon. They checked my app for me, walked me in and carried out the rug to my car for me. I then realize, I actually hadnt selected drive up pick up! I just had a pick up order. They didnt even care! Everyone was so cool. In stark contrast, earlier in the day, I went to the Martinsburg store I could not find the drive up pick up spots anywhere, and I had to go inside because there again was nothing on my app to indicate that I should give them some kind of notice or let them know that I was there otherwise. I go inside the ladies shrugs and hands me a 7 x 10 rug for me to carry out by myself to my truck thats somewhere inconvenient in the parking lot. I absolutely ordered that rug as drive up pick up. No mistake. Thanks Martinsburg, not cool. But Hagerstown people really shined today. The employees that helped were actually on their break and still came and helped me. Im just really thankful and impressed.

Store pickup seemed like a good idea around the holidays to avoid the lines. Our store had zero signage as to where to go, and no place dedicated to store pickup. I had to stand in the LONG return line to get my item. It would have been faster to go find it myself and go through the checkout. Several people in front of me had to wait as they were having trouble finding items in what seemed to be an endless mess of items in target bags. Its hard to believe Target is this far behind Walmart in implementing an effective store pickup system.Update: 6 months later I go for pickup again, 130 on a Wednesday. No dedicated pickup in the store, had to wait in the long return line because at 130, only one register was open, and everyone was in that line.

Ugh. This Target is so disappointing. I have to start this review by stating I worked for a Target in Iowa during college and I cant believe this Target is allowed to run so shoddily! They hardly EVER have anything but the self checkout lanes open, so there are ALWAYS long lines. My husband went in to pick up two items - only self checkout lanes were open - he started at one, and the computer froze. Moved to a second; same deal. No one was there to help him, so he abandoned his purchases and went elsewhere. This would NEVER have been allowed at the Target I worked for as guest service was our highest priority.

Great place to pick up most things. Great for parents with small children. Combine Cartwheel app and Redcard and savings add up.

I love this Target store. Over all, the customer service is great and they are very friendly to (legitimate) couponers. The store is also just a bit larger than our store in Chambersburg with a few more choices, especially in the grocery department.The cashiers are friendly, but if they are not completely trained when faced with a coupon issue, or a gift card not ringing up properly, there are supervisors or managers close by so the customers are not left waiting.The restrooms could be kept just a bit cleaner, but that is really the only slight negative I can say. They have a unisex/family restroom that locks in addition to the mens and womens restroom. The store itself is very clean and stays quite organized. Im frequently asked if I am finding everything I need by employees just walking by or stocking shelves.I love the location of this store, its in a strip center behind the mall, and close to several places I love to shop, and also just off I-81.

Never trust their Black Friday deals. If similar deals available in other store, first run to other store. They reserved 2 iPhones on Black Friday and when i went next days, they said they made a mistake on inventory count and don’t have it. I wish I would have stayed away from this store. Worst experience of Black Friday.

The Target store in Hagerstown, MD is solid. Snack bar, Starbucks, Photo Lab, Groceries, nicely sized clothing department. Its busy during holidays but generally not too crowded. Staff are helpful and happy.

Not a bad store, got all the usual target departments and selection. Beats the hagersville wally-world hands down. Never had a issue here. I returned a router once with the box open and they didnt give me a problem.

We are Canadian and love visiting Target. On this occasion we were spending the night at the Homewood Suites nearby and needed some provisions.

I asked how l9ng on sale he showed me on the that 12/10-12/16, said call Thursday. Around 9am theyll hold one. Im not supposed to use phones at work, snuck the call. Go to get it after work, took 3 people to find it, rung it up not on sale, sale tag gone now. Argued back n forth, said sale on the 17th try then, cant hold it that long. Said they called manager, said he said not on sale. Tired of the bs run around 2 trips from smithsburg, bringing everything else I bought with on the 17th to return if I get screwed again
