I got a locket engraved here and it was beautifully done and didn’t cost a ton of money. The women there were very nice and accommodating. This is definitely my new go to jewelry store. I’m going to recommend them to everyone I can. Thanks to them for what they did especially since no other jewelry store would help me.

Absolutely the worst store experience of my life for what should have been just a short trip to pick up my engagement ring after being resized.Robyn Gillenwater single handedly ruined a special moment in my life by publicly bullying me and using harassing behaviors towards me when I asked for my diamond to be tested.My original jeweler could not prove that my diamond was real after using the diamond tester over 10 attempts, so she asked Robyn for help. Robyn scolded my jeweler causing her to cry and vent to me that she is “flustered” with work. Robyn then told me that I was “rude and demanding” for asking for my diamond to be checked in the first place. She also added to “never interrupt her when she is with guests.”After 15 minutes of not being able to prove my diamond was real, Robyn waved the tester in my face tauntingly and said “Can you see it now, huh? It’s green! Can you see it??” Robyn continued to taunt me without letting me get my receipt while I was leaving the store.I am beyond stunned by the unprofessionalism I experienced while here. There are no words to describe Robyn’s monstrous behaviors. Management has yet to contact me after 24 hours.

In December I reached out to Robin to show her a ring that I had saw online. The shop did not have what I was looking for. Robin was able to come up with her own concept on how to create what I wanted. It was about a 2 month process from picking out the diamond, the band and the color. After the wait the final product was finished. I was able to pick up my one of a kind custom black diamond and band wedding set. She exceeded my expectations and could not have asked for a better experience!

Josh was extremely helpful picking out the perfect Mother’s Day present! I will never go anywhere else to buy jewelry ever again! 😊

I just left there a short while ago, I have spent thousands of dollars there, I was looking at the 24k roses with Josh and the new manager came over and took them away from us and put them on back desk, needless to say I was very upset, it was rude and unprofessional! I walked over to him and told him to bring them back that I wasn’t finished looking at them!! I think Reeds made a HUGE MISTAKE getting rid of Andrea the old manager, she was a big reason why we drove from Friendsville MD to Hagerstown, she was respectful, knowledgeable, and very professional, it certainly has made me think I need to find a new jewelry store!! Why does management make these poor decisions, I am very disappointed in Reeds for the way Andrea was treated. I only knew her from the store but she is awesome and I hope she goes to another store and I will purchase future items from her! Josh was nice as usual but seriously a manager doing this is unbelievable! I think they should be trying to get Andrea back!! A lot of customers came to store because of her!

I lovveeee the workers and the service my fiancé and received here! First of all everyone was so nice and super helpful. The people are personable and listen to what you want. We went to Kay before going here to look at wedding bands. We had a horrible experience at Kay. The lady who helped us was rude and wouldn’t let us do what we wanted for my band so we left and went to Reed’s. They were so helpful and did exactly what I asked! I also love that it’s a small family owned business and that everything is done in the United States! I highly recommend! Prices were much better too!

I stopped into Reeds on a whim while shopping and dealt with Robin. I was up front and let her know that I was just looking but had questions. She took the time with me and answered all my questions and didnt rush me. She didnt make me feel like it was just about the sale but the person. I did eventually return and make a purchase from Robin and will return again and deal with her!! If you dont want high pressure sales or false flattery sale pitches I recommend Robin.

Joshua K went above and beyond to help us with appraising jewelry that I had inherited from a deceased family member, he even took time to label and bag each item separately and was 100% honest with us the whole time with no cost. Reed’s in Hagerstown has an in store jeweler twice a week and he did an amazing job soldering my gold chain after I broke it. It was finished same day, and you can’t tell where it was broken. It looked brand new and the staff was very friendly. Will be back for sure, Andrea was very knowledgeable and her cheerfulness was much appreciated!

My engagement ring came from another popular jewelry store, under their warranty every time it went out for a repair it came back damaged. The ladies at REEDS were very helpful in letting me know that REEDS would repair my ring at a reasonable cost and I could purchase a warranty with REEDS that would cover everything for my ring in the future. I am thankful for this program and glad that I do not have to go back to that other store again.

Great and friendly staff. Took the time to listen to what my wife was looking for. Had a lot of patience and showed us several ear rings before my wife could choose the right ones. I purchased a bracelet for my wife. She had previously tried it on and it seemed a bit small. I returned a few days later to purchase it. I had explained what happened and I inquired about adding a link. The found another bracelet at a nearby store. They said it would be there in a few days. A week went by and no call. My wife went in to see about the link. She said she had been wearing it without the extra link. The lady said AND I QUOTE “ well that must make you feel better” my wife was speechless. This was wrong on many levels. No customer service after the sale as promised. Then to literally add insult to injury... she basically called my wife fat.I’ll be returning the bracelet and never returning to that Reeds ever again. Gabby and Andrea are both amazing. The entire staff is honestly very nice and helpful. Sometimes I go in there just to say hi to them because they are all so sweet. Ive worked one on one with Gabby the most, and she is an excellent associate. Her customer service skills are impeccable, shes very honest and personable, shes not just there for a commission check. I’ve never been big on jewelry but when I got with my current girlfriend, I didn’t really have a choice!! She likes to go to various jewelry stores so I’ve seen all sorts sales people. Some nice, and some not so nice. But, Reeds was hands down, the best experiences that I have had. All of there employees are so polite, generous, and just make you feel like you’re part of their tight knit family. WOW. I love this place. My fiancé and I went in yesterday to see if they could fix my engagement ring (that was not purchased from here) and to look at wedding bands. Not only are they fixing my ring that he had gotten elsewhere, it’s now insured for life! I also loved their selection so much I ended up getting a new ring set as well. My fiancé designed his ring from scratch and it will be here in a few weeks. The girl that helped us (I believe her name is Lenny I’m so bad with names!) was GREAT. She was SO nice, and she answered all of our questions.. and even if she didn’t have the answer she asked another associate to make sure we had all the info we needed. She listened so well to what we wanted in design and price!! Everyone was wonderful. We will ALWAYS go back there for anything we need, and I am recommending it to all of our friends!

They helped me pick out my boyfriend of 5 years necklace and were super friendly and happy to help me even when I was in my grimy work clothes which at a lot of other places I get nasty looks and snide remarks about not being able to afford anything like this. But I felt very welcomed in the store and now when i come in and make payments of the jewelry I have on layaway the ladys greet me by name!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR JEWELRY HERE TO BE RESIZED!My Mother took her ring to be resized at this location. It was one of the most upsetting experiences she has ever had at a jeweler. At first the woman behind the counter told her that her diamonds were fake and then she proceeded to test with a device that wouldnt work at first but then did read the diamonds as being real. She asked if the band was Sterling silver, my mother told her it was 14k gold, and the saleswoman put on the receipt to use 10k gold. We will NEVER be returning to that store!

I had one of the absolute worst experiences at this jewelry store around the Christmas holiday. I waited patiently at the Hagerstown store as there were a couple of customers ahead of me. Finally a woman sales associate acknowledged me with wait a minute, (not hello or welcome) I thought she was coming to help me as I waited almost 15 minutes. However, 3 people that were Caucasian walked right in and she helped them immediately. Funny enough they didnt even buy anything. I then approached her and asked why she would help them first when I was patiently waiting for now over 20 minutes to get the prices on two watches. I noticed a Black man walk in and he stood their waiting patiently and not one person acknowledged him. I asked to speak to a manager, who said she was too busy fixing a charm on someones purse. I let them know that it was very clear Minorities are not welcomed at that store. They are not even acknowledged, or treated with common courtesy.I went across the hall to Kay Jewelers where I purchased a $1,000 Movado watch. I hold corporate completely responsible for not training employees to see everyone as equal. My money is just as green. I might have looked young, but Im a successful business woman. I will never purchase anything from Reed Jewelers. Corporate needs to step in, secret shop your own store, so you can see how racist these employees are.

I have been shopping at Reeds Jewelers in their Valley Mall location for many years. All of the girls seem to have a good relationship working together which compliments the shopping experience. Savannah, Andrea and Bethany seem like family more so than co workers.Savannah has always been very professional and does the utmost to make you leave happy with your purchase. You can tell how.much she loves her job. To me they are the only jeweler in Hagerstown.

Ask about sourcing process—pretty cool; GIA applied), and reasonable prices, including the optional lifetime care plan.We didn’t buy the first time we went in because we wanted to think about it and check some other options, but we quickly determined REEDS was where we wanted to buy, and went back for one of the rings we first saw with Lenny. I’ve had it for about a month now, and it’s been perfect! Great quality, no problems, wear it for almost literally everything! (I chose one of their stackable rings as my wedding band)

Every time we come to Reeds they make us feel special when we do not have a way to purchase some of the items, but they are great at price matching so we are able to purchase their items. I have bought a total of 5 pieces of jewelry and they are reasonable on the warranty and great with customer service, even the new people who have started. They make you feel welcome and even if they arent sure, their positive attitude and drive will guide you throughout your purchases. All in all, 10/10.
