Hello, so I went into builder surplus today and Aaron helped me out with a faucet and some doors he was a great help.

Went to the Haltom City location today and Melissa Galinda helped us find an amazing vanity for remodeling our master bath. She was kind, she knew the products, she was professional and a joy to work with! Thank you Melissa! The vanities were some of the best we had seen.

We went looking for the arch top pine doors. We had the best sales guy you could ask for by the name of Chris. He helped us find the doors we needed and had a better eye for the detail in each door! Ended up with 4 doors. He even took the time to help us get loaded and strapped down for the drive home. Great place to shop and even better sales guy. Susan was incredibly helpful. Weird store and definitely overpacked. Some prices and great while others are incredibly high. Dont take your family unless you shop outside. Again, no room.As an example I bought a window and it was in the back yard all exposed to weather. All labels washed off and dirt was on them all. It looked totally used not new, however I was able to negotiate a better price.

Ordered cabinets from them June 18 they didnt place our order till July 2 because it would cause them shipping so they wanted to save money. Never called to inform us.. its now July 22 and nothing spoke to Danny the Store Manager said Sorry we dropped the ball but theirs nothing we can do ! SmhIt is now July 23 and just got off the phone with them and they dont know where our cabinet is at. No apology no compensation.Its sad being an owner or manager and not taking care of customers after weve purchased Half our stuff from them to rebuilt our home.

Darren was a wonderful associate, he was very helpful and just a wonderful person overall, not only did he impress me with his knowledge on iron doors and hardware overall, he made me feel very wanted and helped me fulfill all of my wishes, he was amazing and I ended up purchasing 3 iron doors because of him, the funny part is I don’t even have a house to put it but he was just so amazing I just decided to go for it.

Builders Surplus beat every price out there by a longshot, I looked for months for an Iron door and found the perfect one here in Haltom City next to Ft Worth, Then I hired Roman their iron door installer, and despite all the obstacles my door jam offered, it was put in PERFECT with Zero vibration UNLIKE my neighbor who had a regular door installer and Not a iron door installer put his iron door in, great service and great install

Great selection of vanities and tops and prices were way cheaper than the big box stores. The AKC brand of vanities was exactly what we were looking for and the granite top selection was amazing. The employees are fantastic...Danny was extremely helpful in helping us choose the right 60 shaker style to fit our needs and even helped to load it up with a hurt leg and all. It was nice to be able to pick just the right piece of granite to match our decor from their extensive selection. We will definitely be back to finish our remodel and well let all of our neighbors know where to go for great product selection and even better service. I only wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

Buyers beware, Builders Surplus is not a company that you would want to do business with ever. I wasnt even in the store for 5 minutes, before I decided to start taking pictures and recording the manager speaking extremely unprofessional to me. Theyre laminate flooring products are ridiculously damaged, the worst I have seen in over 20 years of installing floors. Enough said... Next step, Im contacting the Better Business Bureau and possibly an attorney...

Good place. A lot of product and tons of staff to help out. Docked them 2 stars because they require a face mask even after the state order being rescinded. According to the sign outside Builders Surplus, they are exercising their constitutional right to require a face mask. Kind of makes management seem uneducated given that you dont need a constitutional right to require somebody to wear a face mask in a private business. Anyway, heres me exercising my constitutional right to rate this business based on the criteria that matters to me... and criteria that matters to many others thankfully.

Great place to find building supplies at a cheaper cost. We walked in and told the associate exactly what we wanted and within an hour we had our door loaded up and ready to go!

Dont ever buy cabinets in this place. They sell the worst Chinese cabinets you can get at 3 times the cost, Just go to J&K cabinetry and youll get much better cabinets at a third of their price.Their designer (hes not licensed, so I dont think you should call him that) Robert as no idea how to work the program and doesnt know how to work with angle corners.A customer of mine bought their cabinets through him and even though he made a mistake he still made the customer buy new cabinets and would not take back the cabinets that she didnt need anymore. Danny the manager was even less of a help. Tried explaining for both why it wouldnt work and they tried every excuse possible, they even said that on angle walls I would have to pull cabinets away from wall, believe or not, I was shocked.Youre probably asking why did she buy there since I know better places. She only found out about me after she had purchased the cabinets.Always look for a specialized cabinets company or a cabinet installer to help you for an easier process. Kitchens can be one of the most frustrating projects in your house without the right help.

So I came here to look at doors and the people were extremely rude. They close at 5pm, I showed up at 430 as well as a handful of other people. By 4:45 they had closed almost all the doors and kicked everyone out. One of the guys kept yelling I want to go home loudly enough for all of us to here and that people needed to hurry up. The other workers were laughing. Not going to be spending my money here. They had a ton of people working and no one offered to help either

I walked into the kitchen cabinet department without an appointment and told them I needed to talk with someone about designing my kitchen. A kitchen designer named Doug spent the next 1 1/2 hours drawing out all the details of my kitchen on a 3D computer program. It was amazing! After we were finished I had confidence that the design was what I wanted and was for the price I wanted to pay. Doug was excellent at his job and knew everything about designing a quality space. His estimate beat another company’s by several thousand dollars. I highly recommend Doug and this surplus store.
