The visit today was good!! The girl at the counter was helpful! However, the low score is for the business as a whole!! I called them a few days before making an appointment and driving to the store in September to make sure they had what i needed. I asked them if they would hold the items but they said they couldnt but that they had plenty.. When I arrived 2 days later they were out of the sizes I needed. I asked them to have a manager call me when the sizes arrived but no phone call after 2 months. I drove there today only to find out they discontinued the item I needed. This business is completely disorganized and many at the school have had the same complaints!! I dont know why our school uses this business as I know Im not the only one that has had issues with them. They also have horrible hours which does not accommodate parents schedules!

Ive been shopping here for 6 yrs and have not had any issues. This time was a disaster. I had an appointment to purchase only, since I already knew my sons sizes. I waited one hr and the line did not move at all. As I left, I asked if I ordered online, how long orders were taking. Associate advised 4 days. Seven days later, still having heard anything. I called and left message and miraculously my order is ready and awaiting pick up. I now have to schedule an appointment. Today is Wednesday and the next available appointment is not until Tuesday. It would be two weeks before I receive uniforms for my son. Good thing I have old uniforms that my son can wear. ILT needs to find a different vendor who is more prepared for back to school and are more customer service friendly.

Purchasing uniforms for school. Showed at Haltom location it was a 2 hr wait they said try uniform on get sizes and order online its better. Did this website shows you one price once you add it to cart it checks out regular price I called number listed to see if there was a code or something a and i was told “I don’t know I am just answering phones.”No corporate number to call. We are left with no choice but to purchase from this place but schools should look into another provider.

I ordered my Granddaughters uniforms online and was able to pick up right after I got the email that it was ready. Their employees are busy bees! But had no problem helping me. They were very helpful then and when I came back to exchange because I ordered the wrong size! Thank you Academic Outfitters!!

My experience is based off of online shopping. Online navigating through the website is pretty easy. On the other hand, it states nowhere on the website that it double charges your purchase into your order is processed. I called and that is what they explained to me. Also the website says online orders will be available the next business day, over the phone they let me know to expect 2-3 days.

Purchased online thinking it would be an easier process took almost 3 weeks total to get my daughters shirts not knowing I had to set an appointment to pick them up me being cheap trying to avoid the shipment fee I’ve been going here 3 years now and I use to just be able to go in select items and pay I think you may need a bigger store more help and a better process

This place is not a good place to purchase uniform from. I L TEXAS need to find somewhere we can purchase uniform. I purchase uniform for my daughter two weeks ago and just confirmation to pick it up. However there is no availability until next week and she has to wear it on Monday. They do not pick up their phone nor follow up to call back when you leave a message. I am not purchasing uniform with this tried anymore. Terrible store!

If I could give zero stars I would I find it absolutely ridiculous that the store cannot ship to peoples homes like any other store. And because this is the only store that the schools go through they have a monopoly and it’s backed up. The wait times are absolutely ridiculous and the fact that the appointments are two weeks out is insane to me especially when you could just ship to peoples homes and they were the kids would have their uniforms sooner do better

I have yet to see the 2 items refunded back to my card. Sunny, wrote on the invoice that a refund will be provided. I would like my money back without hassle as the store did not have the items. Dont forget you need an appointment for them to help you!(Not sure if is temporary since they get so busy at this time of the month). I wish I would have known before i showed up, or if they would have notified the school so they could have told me. This is one of the only stores where i can get my kids uniforms for the charter school they go to.

The store was extremely busy, line outside and full inside. Their website clearly states to make an appointment. I went 10 minutes before my appointment time, was allowed in at appt time. Kids needed fitting and was out within an hour. The employees were so busy and helping multiple people at the same time, but still managed to smile and be very accommodating. Thanks for making a stressful situation more enjoyable. Make an appointment and stop giving bad reviews because you did not do what the website instructed you to do.

My daughter is low income. This store took her money for products they did not have and now have nothing refunded it. They stopped answering the phones. It’s a shame when you have to dispute a purchase with your bank because the business will not do the right things. Having a busy store is not an excuse to ignore emails, calls, and most certainly not to issued refunds for a services you have not provided.

I know it’s back to school time and business are busy but if a representative advice to order online to receive within 3-5 days then that is what should happen.I went to Academic Outfitters FW location but was told without an appointment I needed to wait or order online. I got in my car and ordered that moment 7/31. The representative told me it’s be 3-5 days.Here it is school start Monday 8/9 and I have been calling for two days, no answer so I finally left a message .I received a text message today advising my order ready and shipped and will receive 3-5 business days from today.. NOT ACCEPTABLE!I check the tracking and there is no label so I immediately call and text to please let me pick up … NO REPLY… I can tell you this, I will not order here again if I don’t receive my order in time.

Due to my experience with this store taking my money and not being ethical with refunding it, I am choosing to withdraw my child from this school. This is by far the most unprofessional uniform store in the DFW area.

I made an order on the 11th of August. Had to make an apt to pick up, which the only available date was September 1st. They still haven’t sent an email or text that my order is ready for pick up. I’ve been waiting for weeks and still nothing. I’ve been calling to see what is going on with my order. Of course nobody answers the phone. I paid $190 for these uniforms that are still not in my possession. How is this ok? I made sure to do everything exactly how the asked me to, and nobody has reached out, not being able to get a hold of someone literally just has me in limbo. ILT seriously needs to change who sells their uniforms, this just isn’t right.

Horrible set upI found out Friday my kid was accepted to a public charter school who require specific uniforms that can only be bought at 2 stores - this place is closed Sun and Monday then require an appointment that is booked up for the next 2 weeks when I called they location, the guy said to try and come in it 530 since her school has already started they will try to make an acceptation. The lady at the gate was not trying to hear me when I told her what they man told me on the phone and on top of that when I called I got no answer then my call was being forwarded .I probably would not have tripped so hard if it wasnt so far and I hadnt wasted gas and time

I have been calling this uniform location in Haltom City since last week Wednesday and no one answers the phone to book an appointment.What kind of customer service is that?I used to buy from the Arlington location with noooo issues but unfortunately they are closed down.Il Texas need to look into a better choice of location for parents to purchase from.

I have had horrible experiences with this place in the past. The service was TERRIBLE. I think after multiple complaints from basically everyone they decided to take the feedback and do something about it. My last experience was great. The customer service was fantastic the new employees were very helpful. I was able to make my exchanges flawlessly after getting the wrong size online. If I would have known the experience would’ve been so great, I wouldn’t have paid the $12 shipping to avoid interaction.

Sunni did an amazing job helping me and my student find the right size clothes for his appropriate grade! Although it was super crowded with other families in the shop, she made sure we were helped and answered all of our questions. Very hospitable and friendly!

The lady who came to help me was very friendly and helpful. She was letting me look at all sizes and options which meant lots of running back and forth for her and plenty to clean up when we left. But she made sure we got what we needed!

Im so glad that I dont have to shop at this store anymore since Ive pulled my kids out of the school that used this company as its uniform provider. Its been almost three years, but I remember that in the three years that my children attended ILT, every visit that I had at this store was horrible as a result of the incompetent staff and owner who doesnt seem to know how to take care of things. I see the owner answering to many of these bad reviews with same answer probably because they know that these bad reviews are the most accurate reviews, and they havent come up with a solution to the overcrowding, incompetence, and lack of stock.

No store organization whatsoever. Store looks like its being run my kids. They often run out of sizes and rarely keep a full stock of items. Save your time and order online. You will not regret it.

Purchased online and then made an appointment using online scheduler to pick up. With COVID-19 more prevalent in Texas glad I had options to still shop and be cautious.

Dirty definitely very unorganized. I placed an online order to avoid the rush and when I got there they did not even have s record of my order. Funny because they had already charged my credit card. Then the lady tells me it might be at the Arlington store. I showed her where it said Fort Worth and then to find out they do not have the items I requested. The manager was even worse.

They were open on a day they are normally closed and were very helpful even though they didnt need to be. They helped me exchange shirts with very little wait time.

The wait time to be attended was more than an hour. The girls accents are so strong could not understand them. The girl that was helping me she kept leaving me alone to help two other families which made the visit 4-hours.

I showed up Monday morning when they were closed and they opened up for several of us. I had to exchange uniform pieces and he didnt have them in the shop so he went to the warehouse to get the sizes I needed. He works so hard for all the families and does the best to give great service to each of us despite being busy.

The store itself is decent enough however i highly recommend to NOT buy during the summer, more specifically a week or two before school starts because i almost guarantee you will be waiting on a line outside in the conditions of hell burning like a crisp, ive been here 3 times (unfortunately all in those conditions) and now i have PTSD and i cant cross by this area without craving water, just get there early before all the incompetent parents do because there always seems to be some type of fuss or uncomfortable situation when it gets too crowded. Owners are pretty chill tho, just pick the right time

It was crowded, and it was crazy, and honestly they didnt have enough help. But, I blame the schools since most werent accepted until FRIDAY! We had no idea we were going to be changing schools, and I was told Friday, and we went on Saturday. They were trying to accommodating to everyone.. BUT SOMETIMES PEOPLE DONT LISTEN. Anyway, Hopefully they will have everything we need when I go back.

Not the best place to pick up uniforms but had not really another option for IL of texas one lady said she was great picking up sizes she was so wrong than god I made my kids try it on before buying it. Hey are always understaffed. People on top of people they need better parking, better systems and are too small to service ur amount of schools hey service. Uniform have to be purchased last minute as children have growth spurts all the time. It’s time for a new uniform vendor for these schools in this area. Ps they don’t have actual ac they use this extra small unit to cool the whole place and are for sure over capacity on the amount of people in here for fire safety also seems like the the one ceiling sprinkler they have is half covered.

The store associate (gentleman) @ the door is great & so are the ladies who help you get your sizes, however not so for the managers. The manager Angela told me I had 90days return, I went there today and was told by the asian lady and the gentleman manager that there is no return unless my child has withdrawn from the school. That I can read the return policy online. Never hears of this usually its only on sale items but not on new sale items in less than a week. I recommend the franchise store in Plano, they have better policy and customer service. Especially for a new parent.

I’ve been at a uniform school since 6th grade. I was at Parker Uniforms from 6th-7th. Two years ago my school transitioned to this place and I’m am not impressed. It is a huge down grade. It is very disorganized and the customer service is horrible. It is very small and gets very busy which is not a good thing. This place is not a good place and i never want to have to come back. If I could give zero stars i would but it made me give one.

This place is a claustrophobic nightmare. There is no customer service. No one wearing a uniform to distinguish who is an employee. During checkout they dont read out what your buying to confirm everything is correct. I ordered a womans blazer n left with a boys blazer. I had to take time out of my schedule to return and correct their mistake. I arrived only to be told I had to wait in the long unorganized line for their mistake. This business makes alot of money I guess the owner is too busy riding in his Ferrari to care about organizing his business.

Am not happy with this establishment as they have a very poor refund policy. I purchased two identical items on the same day and when I had to return them, I was only refunded for one as the other did not have the tag. It didnt matter that the brands matched and that my receipt showed two, they would only refund one. Terrible, TERRIBLE customer service. If you need uniforms, go to another place.

Went to this store 4/19/19 walked in no one around. I called out hello still no answer finally had to call store phone for someone to come up front. Customer service i rate at a 0. Not sure if i will go to this store again but will proably have to because seems to be only place i can find uniforms for my son.

We have been coming in here for 2 years now they are always very helpful and nice... usually in and out in no time at all will be back for all our uniform needs.

First visit was quick and easy. Got here today at 5:30 p.m. to pick up and theyre already closed. Sign says 11 to 6. Not happy about that.

Place needs a little better direction. Maybe someone at the door directing the flow of people. Customers seemed lost and confused with the disorganizion. People were getting easily frustrated with the lack of helpfulness from the owner. Stafffed you can’t really be annoyed with. They are only as good as their leader

Very confusing place to shop. There isnt any direction when you walk into the store, only after speaking with customers did I get an understanding of the three haphazardly thrown together lines that loop around the store. Orders are placed both online and within the store. I placed my order online and received a confirmation email with an order number to be picked up in the store however, you will not receive any support from an employee until you have made your way to the front counter(my line experience took about an hour and a half). When I was finally able to speak with an employee, I was told that they were out of stock on the items that I ordered. They could not provide information on when the items I had paid for would be available or how I would be notified.I highly recomend the schools find another provider that is better equipped to serve the requirements they have placed on the students who attend them.

This is one of the few stores I dont mind going to they have fast and courteous service will definitely be coming again

I went 3 weeks ago and it was a chaotic madhouse and 90 degrees inside. Absolutely miserable, jam packed full of parents and kids with no options to buy uniforms with logos elsewhere. Nobody would help us and Sonny was annoyed with our questions (so sorry we were new and couldnt understand her or their unorganized system). We left and ordered online, only to receive repeated texts telling me they didnt have the polos. I finally received my order today and they decided to send a Jr 00 skirt instead of the girls 14 because even after 2 weeks, they didnt have the size I ordered ... they have some nerve! And guess what? Now they arent answering their phone and their mailbox is full. I cant believe anyone would give this place a good review. This place is a nightmare!

I was very happy with the store, great customer service. I came in 5 minutes before they closed and they were very nice, helpful and answered all of my questions.

They did an awesome job getting all 3 of our boys fitted and out in no time.

Unfortunately this locations can not accommodate high volumes of traffic. Employees do their best, but they dont seem to have much structure. Customers end up frustrated with the disorganization, and how hot the store becomes. Owner was a bit short with us, but he seemed to be overwhelmed and frustrated himself.

Expensive. Kind of slow - if you order on tax free weekend, expect your things to be ready a month after school starts. Cant sell you patches to put on blazers or sweaters that your kids already have. Be prepared to hem pants yourself. Ft Worth location sold us the wrong color blazer, insisting we needed red when their web site and our school told us black. They exchanged it for us later but this caused an extra 30 mile trip for us to go up there and do it, which could have been avoided if they had bothered to look at their own information after we told them the problem. Their hours are inconvenient. However they are the only place to get the stuff our school requires.
