In my case, they’ll use “policy has been updated, there’s nothing I can do, it’s the company’s policy” for all their excuses. Note: That angry looking lady (also not welcoming) works on November 6, 2021 at 2:30 pm shift, it seems like she hates her job. Again in my case, their customer service representative couldn’t explain clearly either, but only use “I cannot overwrite what has been done.” Can you see Uhaul’s real issue through their employees’ words?
Do not use this place! After we signed and payed for the van everything was fine. We returned it and payed the rest of the fees. 2 days later they changed the price and took more money out of our account because they messed up on their end but said it was our problem. Costumer service took over an hour to answer and when they did there wasn’t anything to do but contact the general manager in 3 business days. Horrible experience and hope they quit ripping people off!!!!!
I am 72 years old and had to move from Ft. Worth, TX. to Henderson, NV., due to the rise in increases in Senior Apts. I a. Forced to move in with one of my children. So I call this U Haul Company in Haltom City Tx., which I have used several times before. I requested a 20 foot truck and with the help of Kyle, we figured out what I needed. When I went to pick it up it was a 15 foot truck. When I confronted them about the problem, they were like deer in the path of headlights...nothing... they said they didnt have any 20 foot trucks and and proceeded to look busy without any more conversationNow, I dont have $1550.00 sitting around, dont even make that much a month on SS Disability. Because of this error with the size of the truck, I had to leave a lot behind. Dont use these people. They are like robots and minions. Once they have your money all the courtesy and friendliness goes out the window. Just did not need this headache during this already stressful time in my like.
Each time we have visited this location, it has been so quick to pickup and return the rental trucks and trailers. The staff that we have interacted with have been friendly as well as helpful in guiding us to the hitch and getting us on our way!When we initially booked our rental online, we received a call within a few minutes later from an actual person to confirm. After the confirmation call, we also received an email stating pickup location/time/pricing. I find Uhaul to be one of my preferred moving rentals, and believe me, weve tried other companies that just have not earned a good rating like Uhaul has done.Thank yall!
We were lied to about when two Uboxes would get delivered. They were delivered two days late, the pick up had to be rescheduled. The movers they recommended arrived late and with only one person when there were supposed to be two. The owner operator lied to us about the the box being delivered to our destination and unloaded. We called them seeking help and and to fix the mistakes. They told us to call the main customer service line who were obviously unaware of what transpired and told us to talk to the people on their online chat. Nothing but mediocrity for $3000.
I rented a uhaul on 4/17, had to wait 30 minutes before I got my truck and was finally on my way. I told them I would go 100 miles and I went 100 miles on the dot. I turned the truck in and they said they would finish the rest. However, they charged me for 50 extra miles that I did not go! They charged my card for the 100 miles that I did per the contract but have now sent collections to get more money and it is $100 more than the original invoice. Not to mention, getting in touch with them is impossible. Myself and two other people tried to call on separate occasions and can never get through. Horrible experience. Would not recommend.
Call this location. I waited on hold to be cut off. I called back this location. After waiting on hold I asked the woman who answered if this location had propane for refilling. She confirmed they had propane and said it was $2.83 a gallon. I said, Awesome! Thank you. She said, Is there anything I can actually help you with for moving or storage? I said, No, thank . After driving around to get friends tank to refill, we get to the location and ring the bell for service. We waited. No one came, so we drove for the office. The sign on the door so that they were opening late at 9:00 a.m.. It was after 11:00 a.m.. We called the number back in the man who answered said that the location was closed due to the holiday. In fact there were no location open anywhere near us.
Great service and great team! I recommend using their services, disregard all the negative reviews. Everyone’s so quick to complain but you get out there and work in the heat with difficult people!Support your local businesses because it’s the local people that help run these businesses!!
I rent trailers from here often. Hopefully if you go here you will get to meet Jennifer. She is friendly and professional. All of the people at this Uhaul make it a good experience.

For all the past reviews l have given them 5 stars. Not this time. Be aware.1. You now HAVE TO PURCHASE THEIR INSURANCE. This was NOTtold to me the 3 times l spike to them on the phone.2. They did not accept the discount l found online.3. They do not pay attention to people standing in line due to conversations between employees and just took a guy who walked in..even after l waited 15 minutes.Employee service has gone way down in 2 months.
We had a reservation at Budget across the street and when we showed up they didn’t have the truck we reserved so we went to uHaul. Jennifer was extremely helpful in planning our trip and explaining everything to us. She got us the truck we needed right away. Thank you Jennifer!
My first time ever using Uhual and David went above and beyond. He showed me how to do everything and what to expect. He has the best customer service I’ve ever seen, very sweet and friendly. He needs to be recognized for sure! I will only come back to this location because of David.
I order van was suposed be vfc ready with key in it on check out guess what no key plenty of people outside to help but they push me inside, 40 minute wait whats point of online reservation if you dont honor it I had moving people as already at house had pay for over hour for them just sit there, thanks alot. Never using this location again
The GM was super knowledgeable, I called in asking for a tow dolly to tow my car to a shop. She got me set up and out the door in 10 minutes or less, got back after hours, did a self check in, was SUPER painless and convenient. The staff were on point with questions and handled them professionally.
I enjoy doing business with these people at this location. Have rented trucks and purchased product multiple times over the years. Product is good - although I do wish U-Hauls truck seats were more comfortable. (Fort Worth to Maine is a long haul). Have never had to wait an excessive time for assistance. Over the years employees have been polite, except for one occasion - and I took care of that. You cant judge a company by one employee - just point it out to management and move on. PLUS THEY ARE OPEN ON SUNDAYS.

Long wait times in person at this location. Always short staffed and not customer friendly. Poor communication with customers when orders need to be changed, and it seems like vehicles are always double booked.
Arrived late on a Friday before a holiday weekend with no reservation. Was stressed and in a real hurry to pick up a car dolly and make it to an auto auction before they closed for the weekend. Entire staff was amazingly helpful and accommodating and got me on my way as quickly as possible!!! Thanks to their quick work I was able to make it to my destination with time to spare.
This place has a history of being under staffed on the inside at the reservation desk. It was especially difficult this day I visited as their internet and computer systems were down. Making your reservation was extremely hard and took us 35 minutes. David was our CSR. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable than what he was doing. His attitude helped defuse a long wait. Equipment is always been in good shape. A little difficult to get to the location if youre going north. I would recommend going here if you need this type of rental.

Moved from Phoenix to Fort Worth over the holiday week and ended up needing a storage unit. The U-Haul in Phx didnt tell us our first month would be free, but when we got to this location, they were extremely helpful and informative. This location is very neat and clean. We will definitely keep them in mind if we ever need their services again!
The absolute worst customer service I have experienced in a long time.Lazy, incompetent employees. As I’m waiting the 45 mins after online check in .I witnessed they had been double charging a lady with a storage unit. They asked if I would like a unit as well..... ummmm nope .Then if you keep the truck longer then expected. I had the truck less then 12 hours longer because unfortunately the storage place there gate was broken. Then to receive a call that They threaten to report it stolen.I could believe it.But they had no problem billing as soon as the call ended.Would never use this place again.
Great place to have your propane bottle filled. Cheaper than the normal tank swap out. Love that you can pay at the pump. Having to walk all the way inside to the cashier used to be the sore spot. Not anymore!
These customer service is horrible. I been trying to close my account they just keep giving me the run around with phone calls threatening if we do not call back they will charge for next months rent and then saying they will need to email for confirmation and they never sent the email. Seems like they need new management and employees.

Second time trying to come here. The customer service is terrible.. absolutely terrible. They always seem to be short handed and the workers are incredibly unfriendly. Its evident they could care less about their jobs. Jennifer was the one who checked us out and she was nice, but everyone else that we talked to or asked questions to gave us the cold shoulder. We lost over an hour of our rental because it took so long for someone to check us out and come with us to do a walk around the trailer we rented. This will be our last time at this location for sure.
The lady in the front office was very nice, but a guy on the outside( I think his name was Chris) was one the rudest guys I’ve dealt with. He made some rude/inappropriate comments and just had a bad attitude in general. Would not recommend this U-Haul location when there are so many others nearby.
I have always thought that U-haul is a fair company that offers a valuable service, but that changed after visiting this location.While we were returning our rental truck, one of the U-haul employees (Tray Neal) carelessly reversed a 21 truck into the passenger side of our personal vehicle. He caused over $3,000 worth of damage to our car and we didnt even get so much as an apology!The manager Tom didnt care either. It was Sunday so he was off site, but he talked his employees through the accident reporting process over the phone. However, he never asked to speak with me, and never offered an apology. I finally requested to talk to him and he gave me the name of U-Hauls insurance company, but nothing more.After our insurance company towed away our crippled car, we were left in the store with no transportation. We had just moved in from Austin that day, and didnt know anyone who could help us or pick us up. One of the U-haul employees recommended paying to rent one of their trucks to use while our car was in the shop. Why on earth would I pay a company to rent one of their vehicles after they just wrecked MY vehicle?!U-haul corporate customer service has known about my situation and they have done nothing to help. I was promised that somebodys bosss bosss bosss boss named Ken would call me to apologize, but it has never happened.
Two people behind the counter, one helping someone the other doing computer work. Neither acknowledged when I walked in.Then one told me they didnt have a 10 ft truck the other person rented one after I walked away.Horrible customer service.

The staff is very nice and professional. Unfortunately, they are understaffed, if you are picking up a rental. Please give yourself an extra hour to hour and a half to wait in line to speak to the only rental specialist.
The staff are great, but I had access problems with the storage units and became locked into the facility. I ended up having to climb an 8 foot fence to get out.
This location appears to have large inventory of trucks to satisfy your last minute rental needs. Make sure you overfill gas tank prior to returning equipment to alleviate uncomfortable conversation about extra gasoline charge.

Rude and ignorant, was turned away and told to leave because a family member from Mexico wanted to rent a trailer with his driver license. Worst experience I have ever had. Ive seen plenty of this kind of treatment on social media, but for it to happen to you is just heart breaking. I hope Uhal does something about theses employees and at least provides them some training even though I do not believe they should be allowed to keep their jobs.
They are very unprofessional and have terrible customer service. They wanted to charge me for damages to a cap on a truck that was already severely damaged and scuffed up. I also pointed that out to the guy doing the beginning walk through and he said not to worry about that. Make sure you take before pictures if you use this unprofessional place. I will never use them again. Worst experience ever.
Reserved a truck online and they had no record of it at the store, I filled out all my info and then was told that they couldnt rent me a truck and gave me a number to call to find out why, I called and was told they showed I owed them 64.00 from 2003. Then told me someone forgot to take it off the computer because it was paid!!!There is a Budget right across the street thats GREAT go there.
I returned my uhaul truck on 8/2 and have yet to receive my refund check that I was guaranteed. I paid in cash which requires a $100 deposit and went to the uhaul store the next day to receive my refund, after selecting the “in-store refund” option. When I got there the store manager informed me they no longer do in-person refunds and my check was in the mail. It’s been over 3 weeks and I still have yet to receive my check despite calling and emailing numerous times, and even taking the liberty of going to the post office to check if it was there. The help and communication from uHaul has been minimal and lacking at best, and they don’t seem too concerned with getting me my refund check. Do NOT go to this uhaul store on Denton Highway, they simply do not care to refund you your money to no fault of your own.

Even the employees are complaining they never have enough employees and are always busy, line is too the door and there is no parking. You would think a place that charges so much for storage could listen to their employees instead of just checking their bank account. Oooor all the ppl outside standing around doing nothing should do something... Crazy right!

I get my propane tanks filled here because they fill to 80 % plus. Those exchange places like Wal-Mart or Kroger do not have the replacement tanks as full but cost the same or more than uhaul. So get your 💰 worth at U haul instead.

Its alright, the only complaint is I told them I needed the truck for 10 hrs, anything after that 10 hrs it wouldve been a extra day rental. From now on the Ill tell them 24 hrs so I dont feel rushed.

If you are looking for shady deals in the parking lot this is the place for you! We had an issue with the wiring on our hitch and needed to have some work done before we could rent the trailer. Two guys were working in the shop area and one said they couldnt get us in that day to get it fixed. So the other guy comes out said if I would by the part and give him some cash he could just fix it in the parking lot!
We have had a space at this location for a few years and never had an issue. Depending on the time of day you may have quite a wait at the register though.

They really tear up the low deflector, cars with plastic bumpers needs that, to keep the wind from pulling the bumper off or miss shaping it.
