Found the perfect washer and dryer in less than 10 minutes at this store! It was nice not to have to drive to Missoula! The manager Dameon was very professional and super helpful! I’m a happy customer with a beautiful new washer dryer set!❤️

I placed an order in April for appliances for my new home with Barrie, former owner. She has retired, and the new manager, Dameon, is HORRIBLE. I couldnt hear him & my cell phone volume was all the way up - advised him a second time I could barely hear him. He ignored me & continued talking over me in the same quiet voice. I called for an update on my order, as I was unable to order a built-in microwave with trim kit in April (not available for order), & I had to order a refrigerator that was $1000 more than the model I wanted, which was also not available for order. Barrie was periodically checking to see if Kitchenaid was updating their order availability on certain models. Dameon said I would need to come in. I told him I had the order number, but he was insistent that I needed to come in. I know the drill - each customer takes from 30 - 90 minutes, & if you have three customers ahead of you, an afternoon is wasted, waiting. I pushed back, and he said, I dont like your attitude. My response was that comment would garner a report to the Better Business Bureau. He HUNG UP ON ME!! Absolutely the most obnoxious individual ever - and hes the manager? I predict now that Sears Corporate owns the store, Dameon will lose his job or the store will close. My builder is his biggest customer, and he will no longer do business with them. Stay away from Sears Hometown in Hamilton!

Poor customer service! After waiting 9 months for upright freezer (have paperwork showing delivery October 28, 2020). Hamilton Sears would not offer any free delivery to our house. Only told, not their fault! But, we bought the unit from Sears, not the Manufacturer. Tried to pick up, unit too tall for horse trailer, sales associate said to lay unit on side! Again asked for delivery. Out weeks and would cost us $65. Poor customer service! Still do not have freezer! Not our fault...will never shop Hamilton Sears again!

I was in town visiting my 84 year old mother, her dishwasher went out. My time here was limited and I wanted to get her situated with a new one before I left. Went into the store and was told the soonest they could get me one was...10 days to 3 months out. I asked if I could purchase one of the 20+ floor models as it is very difficult for her to stand at a sink doing dishes..I was told, Im not allowed to sell any of those...So much for customer service.

Bought an expensive Air Purifier for elderly Mother who suffers from COPD. They do not carry the replacement filters needed for it and have been trying for over a month to find anywhere else that carries them. Also had a couple new appliances delivered. Washer and dryer. They scratched them bringing them in and then didnt have proper equipment to hook up Washer

Sears customer service is the worst Ive dealt with by far, beating out my former phone provider. Calling the 800 number takes anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes to get through to someone that just reads out of a book and cannot problem solve and deal with issues out of whats in there on screen text of Im sure unplugging and plugging your fridge back in will fix it, call us back in 24 hours if not, thank you sir, have a good day.My fridge broke, it took a week to get a tech out and 2 more to get a part shipped. We lost all food and it gets very expensive without a fridge, even though it is not a year old but I didnt opt in for the special warranty Im out the money for food. Oh well, my fault. It has broke again 3 days later and have gone through 4 more calls to customer service and will be waiting again for parts to be shipped because Sears cannot pay a little more for 3 day shipping? It has to be sent on barge. Ive been to the store twice in this time and both times was told sorry, nothing we can do here except give you this 800 number. They were however nice enough to help me get a Sears card for my kitchen remodel because I was going to buy all new appliances. Good thing I waited and didnt get hit by that bus. All in all its not Kenmore or even the sub contractor that repaired the fridge who did a outstanding job so far, its Sears and their customer service who Ive been on hold with for 40 minutes while typing this entire review and cleaning my house that I hope no one including myself ever has to have the experience of dealing with. Thanks Sears your doing great on driving away your business.Gee, thank you for the copy and paste response all of your 1 and 2 star ratings get. Were still living out of coolers and eating out most nights because our part is still en route. Instead of a feigned response for good PR maybe take note of the issues that go with not having a working refrigerator for a month. Ice voucher, food voucher, something more than an apology and an email to write too.

Our refrigerator was headed downhill so I visited this store just over a week ago. Ive been there many times previously, but it had been a couple of years. I was hesitant to make a large purchase here as it seems that Sears could finish going out of business anytime, but last I knew this was a locally owned store and I wanted to keep my money local if possible. I was helped quickly by a blond older lady. When I asked about the ability to buy a refrigerator and take it home that day she said they didnt have many in stock. This is a smaller store so this made sense. I asked if they would be willing to sell a floor model as there were several empty spaces and my refrigerator probably wasnt going to make it another day . She appeared and sounded annoyed with my request and said she doesnt like to do that, but she could if necessary. Her tone was clearly more concerned about her having to set up a new floor unit when it arrived and she could care less about my situation.I finally decided on the unit I wanted. It was a Whirlpool on sale for $1349. It had scratches all over the sides of it from the other unit doors hitting it. When I asked about them she told me that Whirlpool sets the price and she couldnt discount it. Prior to buying, I called Freds appliances in Missoula to see if they had this model in stock and how much it was. I spoke with a very helpful sales person named Michael D. He said they had several of that model in the store and that it was $100 less at $1249. After getting off the phone I advised the sales woman of this and asked if they did price matching. She said they did. I advised her of the price and availability at Freds and she immediately told me she would need to see this price in writing. I told her I didnt have that, but offered to use speakerphone on her phone where she could hear the price. Or she could call and verify the price with Michael as he was who I spoke with. I told her that if she would honor the price match, I would be willing to purchase her floor unit with the scratches at that price. Again, it was worth it to me to keep the money here, and it would save me time At this point she became much less helpful. Other customers were shopping appliances and it was clear that she didnt want them to hear our conversation. She logged onto the Freds appliance website where they only list the MSRP and it asks you to contact the store for current pricing. She then told me that she couldnt do the price match without something in writing to send into Sears. I asked how I was supposed to provide this and she clearly indicated that this was my problem and that it was Sears policy so she couldnt do anything. It was apparent now that she did not care to make a $1249 sale plus service plan. I went up to Freds and had an excellent no pressure no hassle experience and brought a new refrigerator home for the price given on the phone.I probably would have let this go and not written this review until I looked up the Sears Homestore price match policy online. It states that they need the ad in writing only if youve already made a purchase and are returning within 14 days to get a refund of the difference. Not when youre making the initial purchase. It should also be noted that the in writing thing was her second false excuse. Initially, she said the prices were set by Whirlpool and she couldnt do anything different. Research also found this to be untrue. They provide a suggested price, but their dealers are free to sell it at a lower price.Sorry to say that if youre making a big appliance purchase, stay away from this Sears. Based on my experience separating you from as much money as possible seems to be the agenda here. This was my second appliance purchase from Freds and they are straight shooters. Theyre happy to match anyone and the sales person last time pulled up other stores on the internet right in front of me to make sure I was getting the best price in the state. This is the service you hope for. I understand why Sears is headed out of business with representatives like this!

They dont start lawn tractor manuals anymore or the police that were separate part. They used to sell the off brand that was better than the OEM mandrills and pulleys. Bought an expensive refrigerator(Kenmore Elite) and the ice maker doesnt work . They have sent 6 repairmen to service and it still doesnt work. The owner, Berry, never returns phone calls and denies any responsibility. We previously purchased 2 microwaves, an oven, 2 riding mowers, a dishwasher, and she cant return our calls . What a way to run a business!

They lied to me. Told me they called and talked directly to my husband. I asked what number they called and they told me a wrong number, so i said really? And you spoke directly to my husband? And she emphatically said yes! When I explained that was impossible, and the reason why, she said, no that just doesnt happen here, we spoke to someone who claimed they were him, yeah right, no one would do that. Funny...they called the correct number the first time when they told us that our merchandise was damaged. We will not be back! We should have heeded our friends advice about not shopping there. Very shady sears in Hamilton, very shady.

Very poor customer service, everything seems to be the customers fault, they say thell call back and dont. Ordered a stove and 3 weeks went by with no call about delivery. Finally called them, and the stove had been back ordered! Nobody bothered to call and let us know that! The salesperson even told me that if I hadnt heard from them in the first 2 weeks after order I should have called. And then after another 2 weeks and me following up again, I was told that the stove was completely out of stock and had been discontinued and I would have to choose another stove, coming with another 3 week order time! They ended up finding a floor model in the back and they offered a discount because of all the problems, but never actually GAVE me the discount in the form of a credit on my card as I had already paid for the original order. When I called the owner, she said that the salesperson we worked with wasnt authorized to offer a discount! Wanted to buy from them because they were local, but through all of this Id rather buy from a box store!

Mower froze up after 2 months, took it back, said they would fix it and it would be ready in a week come back on 7-17, NOT, they wont even be looking at it until 7-19.
