Someone greeted me at the door. They new exactly where the items were that I was looking for. Its a great place for men and women to shop at. Believe me, all women should shop there. You wouldnt believe the things they have in that store.

They have just about anything someone needs from the hardware store. A comprehensive variety of parts, fittings, and little things I need for projects. Also, great customer care. Every time I go, when I begin to feel a little lost, someone will ask if I need assistance, and offer advice if needed about what I’m looking for.

The service here is excellent along with the prices.

It closes at 5:30 because of the pandemic. Supplies are a little bit low because hurricane Ida just recently hit here. Otherwise this is a nice neighborhood hardware store.

I used this company for rentals for my wedding, and they were very helpful. They provided a lot of the basic items I needed (tables, chairs, linens, dance floor) everything was of good quality. Brandon was very easy to work with while finalizing my order, ensuring on time delivery, and even making changes to my order.

Everyone in this store was helpful, friendly, and professional. I needed propane and several other items in the store, and had expert help with all of it.It gives a stranger in town a nice feeling when dealing with such good people.

This local hardware store has just about everything you need for a home project. They also have a rental business chairs, tables, tents, lights, and much more. The staff is friendly and willing to help. I prefer going to Reeves than going to a box store if I can. They only carry a very limited amount of lumber...very limited.

Refill propane tanks and much more. There carpet rentals was awesome. Everyone is always so pleasant and greeting you as u walk in. And love some of the prices

AMAZING!!!!! The quality of their rental products are the best we have ever seen. The tent was spectacular, the linens beautiful, the table and chairs top quality. Scott and his crew are the nicest, hardest working people we have run into in a VERY long time. They are meticulous in their execution, and respectful of the space in which they are working. I needed a quart of paint to match an old can I found, and they were able to do a great job along with assisting me in getting the accessories I needed to complete my project. Definitely some great personable employees

They refill propane tanks until they are closed! I went to five different locations when the power went out during a really bad storm and they all said the same thing.... They stop filling after 4pm, well not this place thankfully! It was around 6 or 7pm and they still were filling propane. They were super busy but attentive to the needs of the public demand. There was also fresh honey from a local vendor near the register that impressed me also, you can get just about anything from here that you can at the big hardware store but without the long lines or waiting for some stranger to help you that doesnt know anything. They know their stuff here!

I dont shop here often but I really should. They have a great selection and everything you need. The staff is always helpful and interact with each other and customers as one happy family.

No help what so ever. The lady said you cant do that with PVC and I shouldnt have cut it the way I did. I figured it out on my own.

They always have what I am looking for at a great price. WAY better than standing in long lines at a big box store. Only down side is that they close at 6pm. Thats a small thing in comparison to the convenience of having a fully-stocked hardware store right down the street.

Reeves True Value is one of the best things to happen to Hammond. Instead of getting lost at Lowes I venture to Reeves where they are able to guide me in the right direction while providing expertise. All of this in a timely manner that one wouldnt be able to find at Lowes. The associates care for their customers and treat you as if you are family. I have also noticed that a lot of their prices are the same if not better than Lowes. Trust me, dont go anywhere else but Reeves. You wont regret it.

I’ve owned a and worked out of my own private shop, restoring classic cars, fabricating metal of diffent types, welding, and just general repair. I also own a old Harley Davidson and a couple of smaller fishing boats (largest being 21’) That being said, it was either Tangi Industrial (Which they a have lot of stuff, just not so much the bolt/screw variety, especially of stainless steel(most used by me) OR Lowe’s.Since they first opened and I went my first time, I haven’t Shopped anywhere else other than there! I’ll even wait until they are open again from the weekend hours as long as it’s not a pressing fix. Yea, I love the store and the people, however the main reason I force myself to go there, even when it’s out of the way...is because I’ve always tried to support them (the little man) in hopes it wouldn’t be another “Hammond fail”. The first trip, I also was shocked that the hardware section had SO many varieties of bolts/screws/nuts/washers! Brass, steel, STAINLESS steel, chrome plated stainless, BLACK CHROME plated hex bolts...the list is literally endless!To not go on all day, I’ll shorten this up. It’s been YEARS now since they opened. Usually, most ANY store goes slowly to a state, or close, that you’d rather NOT shop there. Not Reeves! They actually have improved and broadened not only the hardware section, but other sections as well. Like electrical (Carry a lot of heavy duty USA items and tools), same with plumbing! Also, they keep the inventory! Even when they sell it out. AND if by chance they don’t carry something your looking for, the (idk if he’s the owner or manager, but he’s been there since day 1) dude will deal and talk directly to you, and try to see if they can get, or stock whatever you’re looking for! I’m sold! Been sold. Just never had the chance to review the place...mainly because I don’t really do reviews, but this place is worth the time!Ok so if I HAD to complain, which I’m not, but HAD to at least choose something that I wish was a little different... it’d be the Store Hours. They open late during the week 8a, and the weekend hours are severely shortened. However, this is the price you have to pay for local service from the little man, not SUPERSTORES that have a different people almost every time you go! For instance right NOW, I need something from plumbing ASAP so I can get to work...but they don’t open till 8, usually not a problem... Now though, only a few miles away, a BIG Home Depot opened up. They opened at 6am and have looong hours on the weekend! Now I’m worried if Reeves doesn’t change the hours soon, another Big company will wipe a GREAT hometown company. See y’all soon!
