I had an issue that was resolved after a review which is AWESOME!!!!!!!! The facilities here are great. Amazing and polite staff. For new shooters this place is the place to be. Since there is a shortage on ammo the rentals are not there all the time but when they are there is an amazing collection of firearms to try out. The owner is an absolute badass and gave me a quick lesson in their archery center which was really nice because I know hes a really busy dude. Overall 10/10 would recommend coming here.

I went into this establishment today, to requalify for my CCW . Upon entering the door I was rudely yelled at from across the room from ( several people were inside the business) a male behind a counter saying loudly and rudely, ‘this is a NO MASK BUSINESS’ I felt very disrespected by this persons approach toward myself . I never seen a no mask allowed within this business prior to entering. I am a retired peace officer, and am currently a ER nurse, not only am I protecting myself but other people within the building, I see on a daily basis what kind of damage can and is being done with the current covid virus, After talking with a couple of people I understand this establishment is politically motivated, welp people I AM NOT, Not one of these political parties pay or help pay my bills, So I will not be going back to this establishment even after COVID is controlled, simply from the way I was approached and treated today .

I love coming to the Kings Gun Center in Hanford. Purchased numerous firearms and ammo through them. The staff is fantastic. Always friendly and answer any questions that I have. Very nice indoor range. They also offer classes on gun safety and how to properly use your firearm. Just a great place. Highly recommend.

Kings Gun Center prices are higher than other (smaller) gun stores in the Central Valley. Their staff are friendly, but don’t seem to communicate well, and aren’t the most knowledgeable.I attempted to have a USGI 1911A1 from the Civilian Marksmanship Program transferred under California Curio & Relic rules. I walked in to verify this was possible, as it is slightly unusual. The staff confirmed it would be no problem. A week later, I was informed by the seller (CMP) that King’s Gun Center had denied the transfer. KGC never attempted to contact me, despite the salesman taking my contact info. KGC told the CMP (and me, when I called them to find out what happened) that they wouldn’t accept the transfer because they didn’t know the procedures for California handgun C&R, and they wouldn’t bother to learn unless the CMP would find them another California gun store to walk them through the process...all while not communicating this to me, and charging me 3 times the fees as the store I subsequently found. In the end I lost a week of my time, but saved $80.On a separate occasion, I asked if KGC would do ammunition transfers, and was told they wouldn’t. I understand this for calibers they regularly carry, but their no transfer policy extends to ammunition they don’t stock.Their unwillingness to do their homework, as well as inability to transfer ammunition, and high prices have unfortunately led me to take my firearms related business elsewhere.

The Kings Gun Center carries great pride in their quality service, weaponery expertise, and most of all their safety. They have a good amount of rental weapons. Shotguns cannot be shot here!! So dont try Ive seen people get rejected. If its your 1st time shooting they do have classes that help understand the weapon and safety rules all the way to advanced weaponery skills. There is an archery range if your into that. I come here religiously and have enjoyed it every time. Go here if you want a great experience.

I have come here before and had very good experiences. However I just stood by the counter for nearly 20 minutes and was not even acknowledged as a customer. I hope in the future this doesnt happen but for today Ill be leaving and taking my business elsewhere.

Never got to go in! Corona Circus has everything jacked up! Called 20 minutes before arrival and was told only 1 person shooting, come down and check us out. Greeted outdoors and told the Range was full and could only come in if qualifying for CCW! Maybe try again at a later date or not! Looked like a nice place

My wife and I contacted Marni at the Kings Gun Center regarding private instruction. We are very happy that we did. She is an exceptional instructor and very skillful. Our lessons have exceeded our expectations. The store and indoor range are top notch. We live in Visalia but will visit often for purchases and practice. I have been going here for a short time and even if i have a dumb question they always give me great answers to everything i am a new shooter and got to go here and get a lot of practice in with helpful advice and their ccw classes and staff instructors are all awsome and great teachers looking forword to doing more classes with them

Lack of safety on the range. Alot of shooters come in with no experience and are not policed. Unloaded or not this is a huge no. Also called to get more information on how to purchase a gun and the representative seemed annoyed that he had to answer questions. Heard the people are really rude here from others as well. Its to bad there are no other good stores around to compete

Great facility, great people fair prices. If you want to shoot but its too hot too cold or its raining outside try this place. The indoor shooting range of nice year-round! You can try out a gun before you buy to make sure its right for you, out your can take lessons.

Once I Turned 19 I Decided To Go Look For A Gun Store To Purchase My first AR15 Of Course. I Did Managed To See This Place Near Where I Live (30 Minutes Away) And Wow I’ve Never Met So Many Friendly, Polite, Employees Before. This Place Just Throws Off A Good Vibe. You Don’t Feel As If You’re Being Judged.

I signed up for beginning archery lessons. The class size was small (4), the equipment new, and the instruction was first class. For the money it was a bargain. There was impressive improvement over the training time. I signed up for a second program.

This is the only indoor range in Kings County. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Their prices are a little higher than other places but if you have to drive to get to those places.....The classroom facilities are excellent. They also provide instruction from beginner to advanced.

I bought my first 2 AR from them. Very helpful, reasonably priced and the staff was very well trained and professional.

Kings gun center is awesome, the staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. I took one of their courses and was very pleased not only with the quality of the course itself but with the individuals teaching it. They were very knowledgeable and passionate about the information.

Stopped in here several times while driving through on business. They have a great selection of guns and even better selection of ammo. I worked with Justin and the owner Todd was in the store. They are super friendly and very knowledgeable. Todd even has several great YouTube videos that are definitely worth your time to check out. I was even more excited about the news that they are opening a Range in 2015.

This place is horrible. they are unwelcoming from start to finish. they dont say hello when you go in, and they dont make you feel at home at any time. whats a business, if without the welcoming feeling. plus they judge your every move. so if you are a new shooter I would not recommend this place at all. They laugh at your shots and your stance and everything you do wrong if you arent absolutely perfect. banging on the window for you to do things their way. definitely will not be returning at all

After experiencing the worst customer service ever at the range pistol club in fresno, the kings gun center helped me send my firearm back to the manufacturer for warranty work. I just want to thank all the great staff at the kings gun center for all their help and that my next firearm purchase will be here.

What a welcomed experience.I have stood in line at other gun stores for over 30 minutes and then wished for a store of people that really wanted to be of service.The first time I walked into Kings Gun Center I felt intimidated because it had been so long since I had shot a firearm and just didnt feel confident. I found everyone at Kings Gun Center ready to help. I have found the staff to be knowledgeable. when they didnt know the answer they were more than willing to ask another staff who did know.Thank you Kings Gun Center and welcome to our community. Got there to buy a gun at 3:49 and they didnt wanted to sell it to me because they will close in 10 minutes ...Im a business man my self and I had waited over an hour after closing because we had to do paperwork and I walked hom with a $2600 sale and my customer drove home with hes trailer..... I dont understand the stores schedules it says 4 or 5 or 6 but they close 10 minutes before so its not 4pm its 3:50 pm the sales person says that will take more time to do paperwork than 10 minutes so come back on Wednesday!!! I purchased 2 new guns there this year and are the last 2 I bought there too Ill take my money somewhere else thank you

Went to buy a handgun on Monday. Was told I needed to prove residency with a utility bill. Then they said the bill couldnt have any past due amount. Nowhere does it state the utility bill should not have a past due amount owed. I called a gun store in Fresno and asked about this. They told me it was bull. I am now the owner of a Glock 19 and Kings Gun Shop lost out.

Just completed one of their classes. Instructors and staff there were very friendly and knowledgeable. Atomosphere and environment there was very clean and welcoming! I will definitlely go there for my next shooting practice. :)

Most gun shops you walk into have what I call The Weirdness Factor. Youre judged and expected to know anything and everything about any kind of firearm and made to feel like asking any questions will make you look like an idiot. Some gun shops maintain the attitude like you have to please them. I dont get the weirdness factor at Kings Gun Center. Theyre friendly and willing to answer any questions minus the weirdness. I will continue to purchase guns and ammo/supplies from Kings and enjoy their indoor firing range. Keep up the good work guys. One happy Democratic gun owner cuz guns arent just for Republicans.

As far as indoor ranges go, this place is very clean and reasonably priced. They have a pretty good stock firearms and accessories too!

Unfortunately the staff is not very knowledgeable. Very disappointed when the young ladys behind the counter did not know how to answer any questions. My suggestion are you need to training you staff better.

Extremely nice facility. Been here a few times and the service has been hit and miss. Sometimes great, sometimes I get a frown and a terse comment. Not everyone who comes to the shop is a pro. We don’t know everything, that’s why we ask questions. A little patience and kindness when the questions are asked would go a long way. I get it, there are a lot of people that come in that aren’t super nice but many of us are and don’t deserve to be treated like the bad ones with blanket customer scrutiny.

Kings gun center is an example of why people are discouraged about buying guns came in with my brother to buy his first firearm and was treated very hostile by Julia. She gave us a unwelcoming feeling, I was going to buy a few mags for my sig and decided not to just for this reason. We will be buying my bros first gun somewhere else.

First time to Kings gun center. I had been warned by many people to not go there but I was in the area and decided to stop in. The young lady there was new and tried her best to help me, too bad the three other guys would not help her to help me. She was awesome as for the other lazy you know whats well all I know is that I will never ever buy anything from them ever. Prices were about $100-$150 overpriced and if your looking for reloading items dont bother going there. Make the drive to Fresno and hit up Herb Bauer, they are nice and have almost everything you need. BE WARNED avoid this arrogant overpriced place.

Beware, aweful customer service. I purchased a year contract for my whole family. Every time we try to check in, they had an issue. We kept having to fill out forms, we had filled out previously. I finally asked for a mgr. A rude blond lady kept arguing stating she didnt care, fill them out again. I asked who the owner was, she wrote the name Todd on a card with the range #. Todd never returned my message. We were held for 25-30 at the register everytime we went, and treated poorly. This place needs new staff.

Good place to go shoot, especially now with the archery range. Frustrating to be told that their archery person doesn’t work most weekends and leaves early during the week which limits the ability to get work done after someone gets off work.

Extremely over priced. Rude staff, one guy just stood there chatting with another guy for over an hour without offering any help. Other employees spent their time chatting with people who were obviously not interested on buying and just wanted to hold a gun. Waited in line patiently and employee walked up and helped someone else that just walked in an interrupted him and instead of asking him to wait, he just helped him first. I waited another 20 minutes, which at this point I was dead set on never buying anything from them, but my friend wanted to purchase a gun anyway, which was his first, so I waited with him. Finally got helped by a guy that was actually really nice, dont remember his name, but he said he was an Army vet, and I am a Marine vet, so we had a common bond. He was actually really helpful to my friend who did end up buying the gun he wanted. Found several places with same gun but cheaper, asked them if they would match price, or throw something else in and employee said he would try, and if it was up to him he would match it, but said he needed to talk to the owner and would be back. Came back and said no, the owner said the price is what it is and wouldnt do anything else. We had been at the store for over 2.5 hrs at this point. I would have told them to stick it where the sun doesnt shine, but my friend ended up buying it anyway strictly due to being there at that point. Bottom line, place is a ripoff, all accessories and ammo are cheaper online. Guns are all overpriced as well. GO ONLINE for accessories, especially, or you are getting g ripped off.

My favorite gun shop. All employees are great and have always been helpful and they have a great selection of guns to look at and put in your hand. I have purchased several guns and lots of ammo (bulk ammo is ridiculously cheap!!) and parts seem competitive with other shops and the online stores. If you are looking for something specific just let them know and they do everything they can to find it for you. This business is a great asset to Hanford and if you are even thinking about getting a new gun (or need parts and ammo) I highly recommend KGC.

Nicest range Ive been to yet. Little pricey but I can buy ammo anywhere, ....for indoor range practice its my fav. They rent firearms, & have archery range...Personally I prefer outdoor freedom style shooting melons & stuff!!!! But if I go indoors this place rocks. No larger caliber over typical ak or ar rounds..

I only have been 4 times as I dont live close. Always pleased and each time I am in Hanford I will certainly purchase something.

To make a long story short the guys thair Kept telling me to talk to a certain girl for information that she knows the most there every single guy there will tell me the same thing when I talk to 2 girls that work there there were some of the most stuck up girls I have ever talked to so rude and acted like thair were better then me wen in ask to talk to the owner I was told he was to Busy and when I seen him he was just on his phone more than likely checking the reviews of his shop to buy a gun here not recommend pride is to hi and thai dont make things simple the range is grate.

I like Kings Gun Center, it has a great atmosphere and a good staff. Yes, the prices are a little high, but not that much higher than other shops. If you factor in gas for the trucks most of us gun guys drive, the prices do not warrant a drive to Fresno. I had to walk one of the gun counter guys through the process of transferring a gun to me I had bought on the internet, and had shipped to them. I may have come off a little gruff, so he got defensive, but that is the only remotely bad experience Ive had and I frequent them often.

Had a membership for about a year, tall skinny guy there gave me some bad info on the Glock 19, said they were all illegal for sale in California (I asked if it was all or just newer glocks, he said all Glock 19s) when only the 4th gen and newer and not legal for new sale on California, same guy sold me the wrong ammo, went in for 5.56, he asked me if I wanted 2.23 because it was cheaper and works with rifles that fire 5.56, I told him that I wanted 5.56, I don’t really care about the price difference, get to the range and noticed he sold me 2.23. (Yes I should have checked before the sale went through and i’ll own up to that, but I purchased several boxes of other ammo, and why would I think that an employee would sell me something I clearly said that I didn’t want) the ranges are very nice, but the staff, pretty much just the one guy that I noticed, made me cancel my membership. Will not be going back or recommending to anyone.Picked up my Glock 19 3rd gen up in Fresno at “the armory” great store, I shoot at the “Lemoore sportsman’s club” and I shop around for deals on ammo at other stores.

Walked into the new gun center expecting a lot out of it and since it was not busy I thought I was going to be helped right away and get to ask questions about different firearms. Stayed in there about 15 minutes and no one came to help me. Priced a few firearms and some accessories and ammo and walked out. Selection was okay and prices were extremely high. Ended up going to my local FFL and purchased the same gun they had there for $200 less. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because of their selection on accessories. Id rather order them online. I would not recommend this place to anybody and will definitely not visit here again.

High price! but if you choose to buy a firearm make sure YOU CHECK EVERYTHING! that should come with firearm that the manufacturer includes with the firearm the day you look at it and the day you pick it up. If you are not sure what should come with it look it up under u tube or the web site of the manufacture. Pulling out extra mags and other items that should come with the firearm instead are being pulled out and being resold that is B.S !I do like that Hanford has a gun store and hopefully a indoor gun range soon.Todd the owner seems to be a cool guy maybe he does not know whats going on or maybe he does.But I and a few others will not buy firearms knowing and seeing what is going on and not just because of there prices on firearms are just as much or if not more then Herb Bauers in FresnoBobs Gun Shop in Hanford out on jackson ave my not always have a big inventory on ARs or handguns and thought was a little high at times on prices but not compared to Kings Gun Center and you get everything that comes from the manufacture in the box.Prk firearms in Fresno or Visalia is ok sometimes on price But everything that comes from the manufacture is in the box.Full Spectrum Firearms in Fresno prices or not to bad last few times that I was there and everything that comes from the manufacturer is in the box.The Armory in Clovis prices go up and down there but everything that comes from the manufacture is in the box.Beware!
