Lengthy but I like to be thorough!Bought a house last year and realized they didnt leave the fridge.Friend recommended this place to me so I came looking for a fridge but inventory was low and I was advised to come back a certain day which was on or after their pickup day, So I came back and I picked out a fridge and they held it for me until I could pick it up. I ended up getting a dryer too, and coincidentally it matched the washer I had! I was told the ice makers were not guaranteed to work, after my family looked over everything to see what worked and didnt work, we got the ice maker working. it has a water filter to fill up cups too but the previous owners must have taken it out. thats ok though, we can get the part online if we want it in the future but for now we have a nice stainless steel fridge with an ice maker at quarter of the price of a brand new one. The dryer works great too, it dries like a charm. Couldnt be happier with my purchase and I recommend this place to any friends I hear talking about needing an appliance.Please take into consideration they sell used appliances(that could be lightly used and heavily used), they dont know how things were treated by the previous owner. they plug them in for a while to make sure they work and they clean them.Everything is more than reasonably priced. If you want a 3+yr warranty and no-wear parts on something then you should go pay 3x+ the price on something brand new. I paid around $350 for a double door fridge with a working ice maker AND a dryer that dries like a charm..wow!

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Jeff was super honest and helpful. He never tried to upsell me and gave honest and valuable information. I will definitely be back for my future needs. I highly recommend this store.

Best place for used appliances in Northeast Missouri!!!

In my opinion the Appliance depot is a great place with cheap enough prices! My family has bought many things from the Appliance depot. If something went wrong... which they can not be at fault for everything that goes wrong. They do not know when something is going to stop running. The only reason there are only bad reviews is because you have no life. Jeff has a great attitude and is very professional when you yourself are professional. I can understand why he would get an (attitude ) if someone goes in and wants to be an ass. You get what you give! Also the delivery guys are very professional and do an exceptional job! And the Appliance depot will continue to get business from me.

Less than 2 months ago I bought a $300 refrigerator from Appliance Depot. About 2 weeks ago it started making a horribly loud noise. Then we started noticing our food wasnt staying very cold. Hubby figured out that ice was building up around the fan. He had to remove a panel over the fan to clean out the ice and replace the paneling. It started working again and was quiet for a couple of days. Then the loud noise began again and our food began thawing. We came home one day and it wasnt running at all. I called Appliance Depot and left a message. I had expected a call back the next day while I was at work - but nothing. I called again, left another message. Nothing. These people dont care about their customers after they pay. For $300 I expected a fridge that would last longer than 2 months and I would certainly expect better communication from a small business. Also, it should be noted that there are only negative reviews of this business with the Better Business Bureau, which this company is not accredited with.

I used to recommend this place until I had to deal with the guy who runs it. He was rude, short, angry and unwilling to assist me with an alternative recommendation. Customer service is still a priority to customers in this small town.

I bought a Samsung washer for $300 from here, and 5 months later it goes out, my repair guy came and looked at it and said that this washer has been bad for a while. Apparently the bearings on it were bad and had left scars in the metal. I definitely don’t recommend buying anything for this place! They sale broken equipment for really expensive prices

I recently purchased a washer and a dryer. After installing the dryer would not heat up. I called him but he did not return my call. I went down there and he proceeded to tell me it worked fine at his place. if that were true the coils must have gone bad on the truck ride over. The repair was 125.00. Also the door was broken which was another 50 dollars. As aggravating as the repairs were dealing with (Jeffs) attitude was the worst. I do not recomend buying from him.

I have purchased 2 refrigerators in the last 4 months which both quit working 2 weeks after this companies 30 day warranty went out. I dont have problems with a company when they tell you up front what is expected from them. 30 days is 30 days. No problem with that; however, when i went back in to see what we could do with the next refrigerator he said we need to part ways. I said that i was willing to purchase another refrigerator but he asked me to leave his store. I never raised my voice or fought with him but he just said we had bad mo-jo..... what? So I cannot recommend any one buying from this person {Jeff} or his company. I would have bought another refrigerator. His loss.
