This place sucks. I deal with every depot around New Orleans and this is the first time ever at contractors desk they couldnt manage to do an over the counter transaction. These people dont have a clue. Then the manager there must have as much sense as every one else because he pretends like this is normal procedure to cost contractors hours of time just to make a small purchase of less than $100. But the small amount of materials had the whole job stopped after the 1st hour of not having it on site.Worst Depot experience at any Depot. Dumb people.

This Home Depot is very rude, unprofessional and most of the employees seemingly doesnt want to work. I shop home depot in Kenner a lot because Im always doing renovations. Just happens that I decided to go into the Harahan store a few weeks ago because it was closest. I needed to buy 10 bags of mortar (50lb bags) and couldnt pick them up. I asked the ladies in customer service if I could pay for them and have someone pull them for me. I was told to go get a cart and find someone in the department. I then said ok dont worry I will get the pro desk to handle it and Ill come back. The customer service rep decided to say that the person at the pro desk was on break (10:30am)... cool. I decided to do an online order for what I needed and have it sent to the Pro Desk for pick up. Receive my usual text 45 min later that it was ready at the pro desk for pickup. Guess what?!?!?? I get to the Pro Desk and the person is now gone to lunch (12p) with no additional help in Pro services. This has to be the worst store for Home Depot Pro Services and Customer Service that I have ever experienced. And no ones wants to give you the managers information. Its not printed on their receipts. When asked for the managers name the worker studdard and would only give me a first name. So I had to go back and deal with the customer service. There was one guy who came to help me. He took the mortar to my car to load while I signed it out.To add to my disdain for this store: Went into this store again on yesterday for some wood that my brother ordered online and had sent to the pro desk. Guess what?!?!? The person working was at lunch (only person working the desk again, gone) So, we had to go deal with Customer NON-Service. We get to the desk, he sign his things out, she tells him Ill have to walk you out... just when I thought we were gonna get better treatment. We asked for them to do a customer service. Lol. Why did we do that? So my brother needed to pick up paint before leaving out of the store, which is right across from the service desk. He told the rep that he was about to get paint and come back to checkout before leaving the store. She made a face as if she had a problem with what was said. Then she went in the corner but the other two or three employees to whisper and point. She left the desk before we could leave the store 15min later. So we had one of the other employees who were standing around back there to walk us out. There was a problem with 2 of the boards of wood so the cashier near the pro desk said that we had to go back down to customer service desk. Even though there is 2 guys sitting in the pro desk area. One on his phone and the other on the computer. So again we have to go down to Customer Non-Service.. of course they didnt come down or even send anyone. We ended up picking up the boards our selves. The lady working in the wood department walked us to the wrong aisle and left without making sure we were in the right place. Again the managers name isnt on the receipts.Ive already said that Id never buy from this store but Im going to write corporate. I dont want to have to avoid stores. There obviously has to be changes... starting with management. If nothing changes Ill shop with another company.
