Quaint and cute sit down cafe with bar counter. Amazing drip coffee. Quality basics here, dont come for a soy frappuccino. But let me reiterate how amazing the drip coffee is. Their baked goods are so quality, with the defunct McKenzies label branding a few baked treats. They accept credit cards, but bring cash to tip!!! Lots of dairy and gluten in here! Also had a game station if you want to lose a few bucks.

The donuts are suburb with lots of variety, but the sliders and burgers are pretty basic I find. Not worth going for anything else but the sweets.

Been working here for 3 months now pay could be better but we keep everything fresh our hours are 6am-5pm and once we open back up fully they will be 6am-10pm

Went in today for doughnut holes and ended up leaving with doughnut holes, 2 eclairs and two cream filled doughnuts...🤦🤦🤦Lady was super helpful and got me the food in a very timely manner. Definitely highly recommend this place if your in the area.

Ms. Denise is the BEST! She does the work of a whole crew all by herself and she makes the best and prettiest Petit fours. She is always such a happy person and eager to help you.

My daughter and I found this place, the service was excellent!!!! I thought I was being served by the owners of the business! But they are employed with the best attitude!!! Well see each other very often!!!

Make sure you check your donuts before you leave. My husband brought me som eclairs from here and at the bottom they were molded. 🤮 I don’t eat eclairs anymore.

OK, I know I shouldve, but I ate the chocolate covered glaze donut with bacon on top & it was AMAZING @ the Lakeview store on Harrison Ave. He offers those on weekends!!!

Donuts were cold and bland. Barely any glaze on the glazed donuts. Castle burgers were decent but theyre no White Castle. The only reason Im giving it two stars instead of one is because the lady working there was very nice.

I have worked here for over 13 years,I love my job because I love my customers,our policy is customers first!I do not know who this Terry Gamble is,probably because he or she is not a customer,I have done a google search,There is no one by that name that even lives in Louisiana,but I did find a fake Facebook page with that name. I have reported the post to google.I feel that post is a personal attack by someone who definitely does not like me,or maybe they just want my job one way or another.That post was nothing but lies.This venue is for Restaurant reviews,not for mean people to use as a tool of revenge or jealousy!

I have been going to this Tastes in Harahan since I was a small child. Growing up literally across the street Ive watched this place slowly decline, but why would you all change the way you make glazed donuts? If the people who patron Tastes donuts wanted a bad version of a krispy Kreme donut, wed go there. This is the last straw for me on this place. Never again. Oh and heads up youll never be McKenzies either, so quit trying .

Ok websites on Google says tastee is open drive to tastee and sign on the door says not open till 6am it is 5.40am now I have 20 minute very inconvenient wait in the parking lot so i call the store and was told ummm wellll i dont know what to tell you you should go somewhere else and was hung up on

The only place i can find turtles in. Like the only place to get good old fashioned Mackenzie Turtles.

Love Tastee!!! No Krispy Kreme here!! Local feel and family donut shop atmosphere. No commercial cookie cutter feel like your big name donut shops. Milkdrops are a must try!!!!!! Whenever I visit New Orleans to visit family....Tastes Donuts is a must visit when I arrive and when I leave(2 dozen milkdrops) to take back with me. Definitely visit Tastee for good donuts and local coffee/donut shop feel

I have been going their for many years. This past year the customer service & waitresses have been the worst. Horrible service. Two employees, Laurie & Ester are always playing on their phones, outside smoking, takes too long to cook your food (then gets it incorrect), talking, can barely walk, slurred speech, arguing with customers and other employees. It is a total embarrassment. You can easily see they are on drugs. Many customers have complained, but nothing is ever done. The other day I actually saw one of them make a drug transaction outside in front the store. Its not a place I want to take my grandkids to. I have notified the Harahan Police about this. Tastee used to be the best. But now, they seem to not care at all about their reputation or how their customers are treated. EVERYONE IN HARAHAN KNOWS THIS. It is very sad to see this has happened. Hopefully, they will get it together.

Preordered petit fours and turtles for Christmas Eve. Petit fours were sloppy looking and only had tops iced. No sides were covered. Turtles had RANCID pecans on them and the cookie part tasted like it was made with old oil . Garbage. Do not waste you money here. This crap made Little Debbie look gourmet.

I feel like Im being lied to. .I ask lady for food and Im told they are out of that so I try to order something else o they are out of that also. I think she is just being lazy and not wanting to cook food
