I had to give them a chance to redeem themselves. What sold me was the outstanding customer service and attentiveness given to each customer. I thought I loved the red velvet cupcake but that carrots cake cupcake made me want to invest in stock options. It was it overly crowded space was good and the atmosphere was clean and neat. I wish I could afford to eat here daily but that isn’t realistic. Keep doing what your doing and know that your efforts are not noticed. Thank you for being a part of the solution and giving me quality food and quality service

I stopped at bite the bagel today and ordered an Americano with a splash of milk. The drink cost was $8 and I tipped $1.20. It’s was busy, so the service was pretty slow. The woman behind the counter who made my drink audibly said “I don’t get why people do this. Americanos don’t have milk in them”. I didn’t want any steamed or frothed milk so that’s why I did not order a cappuccino or Latté. If you’re going to make pretentious comments about what people order, at least make them quietly or advertise the espresso drinks in traditional sizes (single, double, triple) instead of small, medium, or large.I’m sure their food is great. But for the cost of the Amweicano, the slow service, and the pretentious comments, I probably won’t be returning for their café.

The bagels are amazing. They have some great flavored cream cheeses too. The coffee there is also great, and the have speciality flavors. The staff is helpful and friendly if you dont know what to pick.

It is the closest thing to a New York bagel! Great bagels and sandwiches. I usually get an egg and sausage but there is a whole bunch of delicious menu items for you to choose from. Enjoy! 😁

I love this place. The bagels are delicious and there are so many sandwich options. Best of all, it’s a local business. The coffee bar has so many delicious flavors to choose from. It beats Starbucks many times over.

It’s pretty good but the Killeen location is better. They should make this a drive through and it would be much better. Employees don’t seem very knowledge here, they are more so in Killeen and the quality there seems better. Both are pretty good for the area though

Hi, I love ALL of their stuff, and my favorite is the jalapeno cream cheese one. The issue is they only really have once or twice a week, and they only day that I call/walk in that I know they will have it are sundays! The owner is very nice, and I love to support smaller business but pls let me spend my money on you guys. Im so tired of constantly calling to see if you guys have it or not, itd be nice to walk in knowing they have it everyday.Edit: Killeen location always has it, so I will be definitely driving out of my way to go there.

One of my favorite stops for breakfast. Amazing NY style bagels and sandwiches. The Lox is made in house and DELICIOUS. They also serve great artisan coffee drinks. You can also call ahead for pick up if you’re in a little bit of a hurry. 10/10 recommend.

This place was amazing. Living in Killeen a lot of businesses dont make it long. Hope this place stay around. Its like our own Bagel Brother for the Killeen area. And @MochaLace maybe you should have put Condiments on your sandwich or extra and asked for double meat. It is really annoying when people have something to say about a restaurants food and you dont have your own restaurant. If you can do better then I cant wait for your restaurant.

Bite the Bagel is the best place to go for breakfast in the Fort Hood area. Their garlic parmesan bagels are absolutely delicious and their carmel frappuccinos cannot be beat. Add a super friendly staff and youve got a cafe that youll be craving to return to!

A winner every time. The Lox is my favorite and the cinnabon buns are a guilty pleasure. Great customer service and environment to enjoy coffee and treats.

Bite the bagel is awesome Ive been waiting five years since I moved from California to have a real bagel rather than us in store bought piece of leather they do a great job there mom-and-pop owners I couldnt Arava enough about it and they have a sandwich a pastrami sandwich that is wonderful and I was suggested to anybody they have a bunch of different things on the menu and plenty to pick from sincerely the baking master from Einsteins Noah in California thanks again

Great variety and great quality bagels! Loved that they offer Taylor ham as well as some other specialty meats like pastrami, sold on sandwiches or by the pound!

Lovely little cafe. They have an extensive list of flavors for coffee that you get hot or iced. Wife and I split the hungry man breakfast sandwich that came out great. Staff were polite and friendly and Ill probably make my way back again in the near future.

Bagels from Bite the Bagel are a different breed. Coming from the North East, it was difficult to find a place that could capture the essence of the New York bagel, and BTB really does that. 5/5

Pleasantly surprised!!! Quality coffee! I had a BLT bagel breakfast with spinach. Husband had a huge cinnamon roll. We also had two house coffees. Our total was less than $11. This is Definitely a diamond in the rough.

I was born/raised in Queens so unfortunately no bagels will ever compare- these bagels were a bit dense for me. You have to go to NYC area or NJ for a decent bagel/pizza in my mind- however- it’s unfair of me to hold such an unrealistic expectation. The flavor was good and it satisfied my bagel craving/filled me up. I’m sure the breakfast sandwiches are great and majority of people think this is a great place so likely you won’t be disappointed

Stopped in for the first time and was very impressed with their service. I brought my mom in who is not a fan of bagels, and they were very friendly and helpful in helping her find an alternative!The sandwiches we had were excellent!! We love the Harker Heights Bite the Bagel. Nicole makes the most delicious coffees in town! You are getting quality and quantity for a lower price than anywhere you can drive through.

As a former east coaster, I am so happy to have found this place! Seeing Taylor ham so prominently displayed on the menu when we walked in - I knew that someone was bringing a taste of home to the heart of Texas. We had toasted bagels with flavored cream cheese, both sweet and savory. They were delicious. My son proclaimed it, best breakfast ever!. The staff was super friendly, efficient and cranking out a stellar product. There isnt a whole lot I miss from back east, but the food is definitely on my list. This place is doing it right. We will most definitely be coming back. Cant wait to check out their Village Pizza menu too!

This place is SO great. The bagels and cream cheese options are amazing. AND even the coffee drinks are absolutely delicious! The bacon and chives(?) cream cheese on the everything bagel is definitely my favorite 😍 and the iced cinnamon roll late is sweet, but so good. Highly recommend!

Only reason for 4 stars is because when they first opened you could get a full meal for the price of now just the sandwich, I used to be able to order a sandwich meal deal which included chips & a small free slice of cheesecake... Now they have conformed to traditional deli ways & charge separate for everything little thing. To me it lost its original uniqueness but the food is still very good either way & the options for coffee are still great as well. A personal favorite of mine here would be the homemade tomato basil soup. :)

They have outstanding bagels. They wont let you down. I normally call in advance to order what bagel I want and go pick it up. Sometimes the manager would offer me free coffee before i headed to work.

I came in on a Sunday morning. They were fully staffed, which was nice. All of the staff were extraordinarily kind. They cut my bagels for me, and I got a cinnamon roll which was really good. I would give this place 5 stars if not for one thing: cross contamination. My blueberry bagel was really good, until i got two bites that tasted strongly of garlic. My friends strawberry cream cheese was excellent until there was a bite that also tasted extremely like garlic. Dont get me wrong: garlic is great on an everything bagel, but it is not fun on a fruit bagel! I think maybe they used the same knife to scoop the herb cream cheese and the strawberry on accident or something. Hopefully next time I go there will be better!

Had the Los amd cream cheese on an onion bagel. Tasted great. Only complaint was they were out of everything bagels. It was only mid morning so get there early.

Always a great stop. The girls there know my husbands order so when he walks in they get it ready for him. This helps me because it gets him to work with me quicker!

I love this place. The bagels are like New York style bagels. A real taste of home. The muffins are moist and delicious. They go great with a hot cup of coffee. The zucchini bread is amazing. The store is always very clean. All of the staff is very friendly and courteous. They have free WiFi so you can come in with your laptop and get some work done while you sit down and eat.

I came in today and my 16 month old daughter was asleep in my arms, so I was stuggling ordering and paying. Sara was amazing went out of my way to help me. The food was also amazing as well. Definitely will be going again

We went today for the first time, and as someone who has had a few original NY bagels, this place lives up to its promise of fresh, delicious, Brooklyn-style bagels and homemade taste! The tomato and herb cream cheese is to die for and we are very much looking forward to trying out more from the menu. Love the fact that they offer homemade soups too and that there are some nice vegetarian options. Only upgrade I could think of would be MORE vegetarian options, but theres always the possibility to customize your order so Im good. Service was great as well, very happy to have this in Harker Heights!

Great coffee, delicious bagels, friendly and helpful staff. There are so many types of bagels from which to choose, and they even have multiple flavors of cream cheese if thats what you like. They sell more than just bagels if you want something sweet or a whole breakfast sandwich. Some of the tables are styled into board game tops, and you can actually play while you wait and eat if you ask for game pieces.

The rating dips into the 4 star area though. Only because the half dozen everything bagels I bought a few days ago were missing something. Either they were light on the everything or something was missing. Otherwise, wonderful bagels and breakfast sandwiches! Great environment. The owner is a great guy and the employees always look happy :)

I heard a lot about this place from a lady in my office, so I was super stoked to grab breakfast for my boyfriend and I one morning. Bite the Bagel is REALLY busy! I’d never been in there before so I wasn’t really sure where to start. I picked the first thing on the menu, and ordered two of “the hungry man”. The ladies were a little intimidating! And unwelcoming. I felt like I was bothering them. But how would they know it was my first time, right. The food was delicious! We would love to go back.

I frequent this location because I work next door and their bagels are excellent, I always order a cinnamon raisin bagel with strawberry cream cheese. The first couple times I went was excellent but the last 3 times I have ordered, there has been cross contamination - imagine my surprise when I take a bite of my sweet strawberry cream cheese and get a nasty mouthful of garlic/meat mixed with strawberries! I even pulled a piece of meat out of my strawberry cream cheese. That would be great on a savory bagel but its disgusting on a sweet bagel. It tastes so bad that I end up throwing it away which is a waste of money, and once I am at work I cant leave to go get a different breakfast which leaves me hungry until lunch.I will no longer come to this establishment.

Way too expensive. They charge New York City prices but dont deliver NYC food. That said, their coffee bar is quite good; the lady there made a delicious cappuccino.

This is the best bagel spot in killeen!!!! i have gone that typically every week since the first year they opened. things are made fresh and from scratch. not only are the bagels great...but they do a great job with the sandwiches. the muffins are also hard to resist. you will never leave here unsatisfied....big fan!!!!!

I come here on regularly. Its my favorite breakfast places. I always get a breakfast bagel and latte. There lattes are amazing and I always get the snickers latte.

Excellent service and food amazing cheese steak sub East coast style

Ive been here a total of 4 times now since they have opened a month or two ago. That being said, the bagels and other items on the menu are good! However, the service is pretty sub par even when they are slow. 3 out of the 4 times that Ive been I have been waiting over 15+ min for a bagel breakfast sandwich.. During breakfast hours. Ive also had individuals come in after me while Im waiting that order bigger orders that are served first. Im only writing this today, because I just ordered a breakfast bagel sandwich being the only person in the store (literally) and still waited a long time and had to ask about my sandwich in order to actually get it. Hopefully they dial into this issue and figure it out, I have co-workers that wont eat here because of their bad experience with service. Other than that, the food is very good.

One of the best places you could go for breakfast. I bring my family here every Sunday and theyve never let me down. Ive yet to have something here that I didnt like. Get the Guatamala coffee. You wont regret it.

Good customer service and the customer doesnt pay until after the meal has been prepared for then so as to make sure its exactly what they want. Also, the bagels taste great. They dont have a ton of coffee options, though.

Had breakfast, the food was great. Fast and fresh. Coffee was so-so. The pot had just started brewing so I probably got the initial roast with nothing to mellow it out.

Very friendly, food and drink is delicious. Got 4 bagels, 1 chocolate milk and a frap for 20 bucks and the family loved it. Some of the tables are board games so consider eating inside!

My husband and I went here every weekend for about a year while we lived in Texas. Great food, service and prices! The owners were always very friendly and made us feel at home. We had to move out of state and now every weekend we wake up and say, I wish we had a bite the bagel. My husband loved the lox on his bagel. Everything is made fresh. Once we went and the cinnamon rolls werent ready yet, so the owner texted us 10 minutes before they were ready so we drove back and got it hot, right from the oven. So delicious! If you live in killen/Harker heights you need to go here for breakfast.

This place is awesome! I got the lox and cream cheese bagel and my hubby got the classic bagel both had great flavor. I was a little disappointed that mine only had a couple peices of thin salmon and a huge gob of cream cheese. Other than that it was fantastic and well be back!

Awesome place, good bagels, good service, never had any issues! Get there early! Dont be mad if they are out of certain bagels, thats a given with any place that has fresh bagels etc.

Love their daily fresh muffin choices - orange poppy seed and lemon raspberry so moist and filling. I enjoy the Almond latte much better than other chain coffee stores.
