First time in. I was looking for a mascara. I couldnt find an employee to help. I looked on my own for about 10 to 15 minutes. Never found the mascara. Only employee I found was busy typing on their phone.

I walked in the store Harker Heights, never was greeted. Walked around and Witness customers on the same aisle where the mascara is located. An associated came to ask lady that came to the aisle that I was in, if she needed assistance she waited on the customer and at this point I am standing at the end of aisle where the Mega mascara is she never came and said anything too me! I passed the perfume another associate was helping too ladies and she walked passed me and LOOKED BY WAY!!!! never uttered a word to me!!!!! I walked out will spend my money where you are acknowledged no matter who you are!!!!! I have shopped in this store plenty of time must be a new set of individuals!!!

I forgot the ladies name but she was wearing green and yellow eye shadow and she was very helpful in answering my questions and guiding me to what I was looking for. Thank you mam

I had never been to a salon before and Im glad I came to Ulta as my first experience. My stylist, Paulette, is a very experienced and she took the time to thoroughly dye and bleach my hair. She wanted me happy with my hair so she was careful and thorough with my hair. I absolutely enjoyed our conversation and her professional opinions left me happier than I would have been doing what I had walked in thinking of doing. I appreciate her and her hard work and also the quality salon ingredients used on my hair. Ill be a loyal customer from here out, requesting Paulette every time.

Update: i spoke to the manger &’ they got me in within a few days to get it fixed! Looks way better &’ so glad it got fixed. So updating from 2 star to 4.Went to get balayage &’ came out with basically all blonde except the top part of my head &’ there are orange spots. I paid over $200 for the service &’ the cut. The girl who did it was so nice. But really not happy with it being my birthday tues &’ now having orange spots in my head.

Come here to shop for my granddaughter. She loves this place is a one stop shop for all her favorite name cosmetics.

This is the only ulta Location close to me. I shop here somewhat frequently and most the time it is an average shopping experience but this last time was very disappointing. I was not greeted when I walked in, I spent 20 minutes looking around before I started swatching some blushes and only then did Someone ask if I needed help. Before I could even say no thank you she had already walked away. I felt very dismissed and disrespected, I can’t help but feel like it’s because I was not dressed up to their standards. I was trying to walk down an aisle to look at some make up but two employees we’re in the middle of it whispering to each other. One looked back at me as if I was interrupting and continued to talk to her coworker and block the aisle. I only ended up buying A pair of tweezers and some hand soap. The employees at the registers were talking for a good minute before one of them had the time to help me check out. overall it was really upsetting being treated as less than for looking a certain way.

Best place to shop for the best makeup! I bought the 35c everyday chic palette and had to wait 3 days and two stores later but finally it came in on the truck (photo of display)

I had the best experience at the Ulta in Harker Heights. I came in clueless and only looking for the items I saw on some blog but no clue what shades. But Jessica was extremely helpful at helping me find a shade, even though the testers were unavailable. She took the time to try to color match on a napkin. She also took the time to listen to my unsuccessful attempts at finding a foundation that met my needs. I have to say rarely does that happen. But it helped me feel confident with my purchase. Unfortunately the concealer and foundation were to yellow. I remembered Jessica telling me about the return policy and decided to give it a try. To my delight Jessica was working again and helped me once again, this time we found the prefect shades. And she did it with such great customer service. I’m thankful for her time and efforts to making this momma to be feel a little prettier.

Ulta is good for facial care, hair, make-up, perfume, etc. The staff is generally friendly. The prices are a little more than at equivical stores. They offer a brow bar as well as hair salon average price for eyebrow waxing is about $21.

My daughter scheduled an appointment online to get her hair colored over a week out. She got a can less than an hour before the appointment to find out they didnt have enough time to do her hair. The lady said that she booked the cheapest option(which she did not) and when I asked what the right option was, they didnt know. They said we should have called instead. What is the point of booking online if we have to call and when we call you dont answer until someone else in the store goes back to get you. Overall poor customer service and rude trying to blame my daughter for not booking the right thing. I went online to see the options, they dont have what the lady was saying as an option.

Well today was my 1st day in this store I cant believe Ive never been before but I am not a huge makeup person so I was looking for the cat bondi Apple foundation and unfortunately they were sold out of most of the colours so I did find one so Im gonna try it to see if I like it in all the hype that everyone gave it but the store was very nice and clean and I had a lovely sales associated ask me for help if I needed help And I signed up for the rewards and not short out ever get a good use out of it since I dont wear a lot of makeup him but the staff was very friendly in the store was nice and clean and very bright And inviting.

I couldve had a much better experience, I spent an hour here and it shouldve been half that time. I wasnt greeted, either time I went into the store. The first time nobody asked if I needed help or asked what I was looking for. It wasnt until the second time I entered the store was I helped and that was because it was closing time and I asked for help. The woman who helped me was great though. I think her name is Christina, she has a mohawk. She was super nice and helpful. Such a nice woman and so helpful!

Had a hair appointment today with Nhan at Ulta beauty in Harker Heights. He is a magician when it comes to hair. I came in with thick roots, and two different colors of faded blue. He transformed my hair into a beautiful brown exactly how I wanted it. He was very professional and listened to my concerns and walked me through the whole process so I knew what to expect. He is pure talent!

The associates are always polite and courteous when I am either shopping or going to the brow bar.

Overpriced, but awesome, aesthetically pleasing makeup that works for me.

I’ve always had SUPER long hair and decided to get my hair cut short. I was so nervous but Nhan Pham did an amazing job and cut it exactly how I wanted! I love my hair shorter now. I will be returning to have him color my hair because he even took the time to discuss that with me as well. HIGHLY recommend Nhan!!

Went to the salon and the whole time I was told how horrible my hair was and when I tried to come up with alternative ideas was just told she didn’t have time for any of that. Not the type of person to leave bad reviews but people can only handle so much negativity until they can’t take anymore.

The salon staff correspond well with the location. Do not expect anything but the basics here... even then, SPRINT in the opposite direction.

I went in today and tried to use my gift card. It was declined several times even though there is a balance on the card. The cashier was rude and would not help me figure out why it was being declined. I ended up just paying for my items and left. I really think maybe we should work on our customer service and willingness to help. I understand its holiday time but there is no excuse for rude employees.

I dont like to leave negative reviews but I had to do this. After having my baby I been trying to do my hair on my own gray. No time for beautiful salons with a little one. So after different shades of gray to bluish gray, I was told that Ulta was family friendly. My husband ended up staying with the baby and in Ulta I trusted to get my hair the shade I been wanting for so long. After bleaching and treatment, and coloring and some highlight bleaching and more treatment, I ended up with a bill over $300 and I color not even close to what I wanted. It would be good paying so much and ending up happy, but even though I been trying to like this color and be satisfied, I have to day I am not only disappointed, but also depressed. I have to sadly say that I am not going back again.😞

Worst experience ever!!! Rude staff and higher up. This place is rotten from the lowest level to the highest and its just this location. I have been to many ulta beauty stores and never had an issue. I wanted my foundation matched and they assumed for whatever reason🤷🏽‍♀️ I couldnt afford the make-up on the brand side🥴. I was told to look myself they couldnt help me but when I told them I was interested in the more expensive make-up I was met with an eye roll. This is not my 1st and only time dealing with this kinda of problem with the staff following me and saying slick comments they thought I didnt hear. please if you are a person of color dont give them your business!!!!!!!! they will trash talk you and assume your poor.

Ulta is a great place to shop because it carries merchandise you cant find anywhere else and if they dont have it, you can order it and its there within 3 days of ordering it. Thank you Ulta!

Bought 17.5 fl oz of it’s a 10 express miracle silk conditioner! Haven’t had it for a month yet and no kids to get into it! I feel like it was used someone returned it and I got the left over which was nothing!! Called corporate and the store and they would do nothing for me! I’m highly disappointed and will not purchase this from them again! What happened to good customer service especially what I paid for it! I guess honesty doesn’t pay!

Website showed this location had a makeup item I needed as a gift. I made the hour round trip to learn this location didnt have the item as indicated on their website. A complete waste of time.

Always out if a brand or color I like. Eyelashes were in different areas of the store, staff was sparse, this trip was very frustrating.

They had what I needed but no one is willing to help. Not a single person greeted me or offered to help me out. In fact, the benefit bar girls were gossiping and gave dirty looks every time I walked by. Save your drama for afterwork.

I was excited to visit, but was immediately disappointed. Lack of items and variety. I have mixed emotions about the staff. One staff member walked past me several times and did not ask if I needed help. I walked toward him to get help and he then starts rushing past me....he wasnt rushing until he saw me make eye contact. Another staff member actually stopped to ask if I was ok. I inquired about my item and he was like I never heard of it like it didnt exist..I thanked him and The ULTA in California staff were friendlier. Even the check out was terrible long lines and depressed miserable staff. They didnt look happy. It shows.

I’ve never had a bad experience with this Ulta location at all. I think that they are well-stocked, organized, and helpful. I always come to Ulta not really knowing what I am looking for specifically but the vast selections of items always has me tempted to spend more money than I should. I like how neat and clean the layout and set-up of the displays in the store are. It makes it easier to browse and to find products here. I also think that the customer service is efficient and helpful. They give me beauty recommendations and products that they have tried themselves to help me not make a bad move when buying a product. I appreciate the service and knowledge that they have to offer because it helps people like me, who are somewhat clueless about beauty products, leave the store satisfied almost 100% of the time. This place is pretty costy so I would warn you to be prepared to spend quite a bit of money, even if its on very little products. They do offer deals and sales occasionally to watch put for those and you’ll probably have a pretty golden experience at this Ulta Beauty store.

I visited the location by lakeline and they had the worst customer service! I wasnt greeted by any staff but was followed around like I was going to steal something and as a Diamond Member I spend WAY to much money with them to be treated that way . I will NOT be going to that location ever again! They need to seriously make a change in staff at that location.

I come here since they built this Ulta, fits my needs I buy here and love all the staff are amazing and very nice. I go to the Salon too and I never had color problems or haircuts... you can always ask the manager who may tell you who is the best fit for you. I recommend start with doing deep conditioning and get to know them. Theres a few I can recommend but its not proper. Like I said never had coloring issues ..

This place always have a variety of skincare, haircare, and a variety of cosmetic brands. If you shop there for one thing, youre sure to leave with so many awesome items. In addition to the above variety, there is also a salon, which offer many services, facials, waxing, and hair services.

I came in due to a bruising mark I had unfortunately acquired on my face. Lisa was absolutely amazing in her knowledge and efforts to help me deal with this issue. She is a sensational employee and it was a pleasure to have been serviced by her.

Decent selection, varies quite often.Update, a lot more variety, or at least it seems like it, love all the new items and variety packs they started carrying, especially online, makes it every easy finding new scents while avoiding having to leave my house.

This store is pretty gross. You can tell the employees there dont care much about cleaning up and making things look nice. Took me twenty minutes to find one body butter that wasnt broken, dusty, slimy, crusty, or used. One woman asked if I needed help then cut me off and walked away in the middle of me answering that I did in fact need a little help finding a hair product. Ugh no thank you I will go to a different Ulta next time.

I absolutely love coming into Ulta and almost every single time I’m in there an employee named Randi is there, and she gives me the best customer service I have ever experienced! She makes me feel very comfortable, and makes sure I’m getting the best quality products that match my specific needs. Shout out to her for always having such an amazing attitude and being so helpful!

I scheduled an appointment at the salon and could not have been happier with the service. Nhan was my stylist and I was super impressed with him from the start. I went in wanting to not look so washed out and blah and he really listened and gave great advice. Very professional but made you feel comfortable and made sure you were on the same page throughout the process. It was pricey but worth it. I havent had any of the other stylists but I watched them all do beautiful work. I will definitely be back.

A pleasant, interested, helpful clerk aided me in selecting a perfume for my daughter. She asked questions about my daughter, suggested a few, sprayed samples on test strips, and within minutes we had a winner. My daughter loves her Chanel Chance. One star removed due to visible annoyance from the cashier when I declined to provide a phone number or email address.

I have been shopping this store for a couple years, but had never got the courage to book a hair appointment. Prices scare me. I finally did it, and boy was I not let down! I feel so sassy, fearless and fabulous with my new do! Nhan (sp?) did a FANTASTIC job! I am beyond pleased. I also had my eyebrows tinted and waxed, and now I dont have to guess on my brow shape. Charlotte (I think that was her name) did an amazing job! Between the two of them, I feel like a completely new and made over person! Well deserving 5 stars!

I came in, was greeted, but had to interrupt two sales girls who seemed to be having a personal conversation; and they looked highly annoyed by me asking for help. I had one sales girl help me find a face wash which she sore by; and it has dried out my face a lot more than the one i was using before. The other sales lady, tried to help me find a bare mineral powder for my face, but i got told that powder is a lot harder to match when it gets darker in color vs liquid foundation....................Being a woman of color i didnt really appreciate that comment nor her getting frustrated since she couldnt find the right shade. I also find it weird, that i cant do returns unless i sign up for something? That i have never heard of and caused me to waste money on something that doesnt work well with my skin.

The store is overall just fine. I do wish they kept up with their stock as it seems even the drugstore items are ALWAYS out. Ive never had a bad experience with the employees. Theyve always been nice and helpful when needed. The store is kept pretty clean except for the parts to sample the product but thats every makeup store Ive been to.The salon though is slacking. I showed a hairdresser a picture of the color I was looking for and asked her advice on how it would do with my hair. She didnt have an answer for any of it...no suggestions....no idea what colors to use. Arent you trained in this stuff?

Its just a normal Ulta Beauty store, if youve been to one before than this one isnt really any different. I just wish the staff was more helpful in shade matching.I told one employee I didnt know how to correctly match my shade but all she did was pick out one foundation, apply it, and asked what I thought. I couldnt tell how red and oily it made my skin look in the small mirror I was given. She applied it to the side of my face so I couldnt get a good look at the swatch plus the lighting wasnt great.So, basically, I now have a $36 bottle of the wrong shade of foundation.

As always rude staff at the counter. Never let me down Ulta. Finish the conversation with the customer before speaking to an employee about how many mascaras she’s sold. Good god.
