Great prices, but the quality of their merchandise is declining. Many of their products are made outside of the USA. Need to support our countrys economy and help create and maintain jobs here. Yes, that will affect the costs for JC Pennys and ultimately to us their customers, but thats a price we should be willing to make.

Limited selection for mens shoes. No name brand to choose from. Recommend Shoe Carnival for more variety.

Went to JCPenney to find me a dress for a wedding luckily the worker Amber was kindly enough to help me search my size and she also told me I had $20 worth of rewards thanks to her I saved quit a good amount of money! Thank you JCPenney for the great sales and amazing customer service will be stopping by more in the future !!

I was surprised to come back to JCpenney after a long time. You could tell theyre definitely under a new business plan, now they look like theyre back in business. Everything is beautifully displayed and big sales all over the store. 5 star store!

Wife had hair cut and she was happy. I walked around for 30 minutes and was totally ignored. Only one person said hi and that was not an employee.

Always a long wait to pay! They could open more registers. Management is always watching but not helping. Blah the return counter is never open so you ah e to wait in line at the regular counter. Just shop online!

I called the store to see if they had Bermuda shorts. The girl went to check, came back and told me yes. I went down and spent over $100. The young lady was very friendly and helpful.

Shod sales associate very, very helpful. Needed 6 mo old granddaughter shoes and only one shoe found. Finally found other shoe but not correct size.

Bad customer service. They never answer their phones! It’s a constant problem here. No one never answers. Seriously I should have gone to the Weslaco JCP never had a problem.

Hair salon has excellent hair cuts for. 20 dollars and you get much attention to detail than those discount shops.

They did have some things that looked cute. But to be honest they had things that looked the same as what some of the other department stores in the mall were selling. Even look like they had the same clothes as Target in a few of the Isles, didnt really stand out with much variety to me.

JCPenney is a very wonderful store where you can find mens, womens and kids clothes too.

There are no words for how bad this store looked.I went there to buy a baby gift and I walked around the entire downstairs without one associate speaking to me .....they literally did not acknowledge my presence.Once I located the baby department it looked like people actually took boxes of random clothing and dumped them on tables and on the floor. I have seen garage sales more organized than this storeThis was my first and my last experience here.

Excellent variety and if youre careful you can get very good prices. We were very happy when they went back to their old method of discounts and coupons rather then that shilly thing they had for a while when they only had discounts on Friday. You never knew what to discount was going to be so you didnt want to buy anything any day but Friday and of course what you wanted wasnt on sale on Friday. I think they have recovered from this fiasco and my family enjoys shopping there again. Probably not something I should say but many places need to have staff that are managing the facility that Have an understanding of people rather than just thinking they have an idea to count beans and hopefully make a profit. Read the store has gone back to what we remember. Thanks

Jcpenney is a good place to shop, you can usually find some good discounts on clothing and jewelry. The best part of jcpenney is sephora, my wife loves the makeup and I like there cologne selection.

Jcpenney is a good store to go shopping when they have holiday deals or clearance on seasonal clothing for adults and children which is pretty much year round. Only thing in my opinion that would be better is the pricing on baby clothes to toddlers to be lowered a little.

I have worked at Penneys in another city and been in many. This one looks like a bad garage sale. Half empty soda bottles, merchandise on the floor, was never approached by an employee and actually never saw one. I think they need a visit from the district manager and regional manager at best.

There were hardly any people here considering its Spring Break. I think its the online shoppers who kill the possibility of any life in the actual JCP store.

Name brand clothes for men and women, and kids... They also sell from shoes and jewelry, home decor, lady cosmetics that they can buy and try out... JC Penney has the best deals every month and holidays, great customer service and will clean...

Just did my hair lied and told the lady I liked it but as I look at it more and more I really dont like it. I have paint all over my face my hair is nothing like I asked for completely different shade of color. I hate being rude cause I know what its like to work in customer service but I give it just one star sorry. 😒

Had the worst experience today. Needed shoes for my son and there was no one there to help. I ask someone in another department if there was anyone in the shoe department who could help me and all she simply said was no maam Im sorry. Went to look for another sales associate and she at least paged someone to help. 10 minutes later no one came.

There was not an option for wheelchairs for handicap shoppers, staff was unatentive in assisting shoppers. You had to go find someone to see if they could help you. For example, there was one employee about 15 feet from us and we had to go to her, so she could help us. I feel that she should have had the courtesy to at least ask if we needed help in finding items. I feel that this store is not ADA friendly .

JC Penney is one of my favorite clothing stores. They always carry cute, comfortable & up to date clothing in my size. They also carry very unique & one of a kind costume jewelry. I can always find some really cute earrings, rings, necklaces, etc. They also have great sales, especially when u use their coupons in combination with their sale items. I always recommend JCP to my friends & family.

Worst experience!! I took my son for shoes, but the shoe department was a mess. I couldnt find anyone to help us. The young man the checkout paged someone, but nobody ever came. We waited for 30 minutes with no help before finally leaving. This isnt the first time this has happened at this location. I wont be giving them my business anymore.

This time I didnt have long wait at checkout. The fitting room were kept clean this time. No ridiculous mess. My salesclerk was friendly and helpful.

Why is it that jc penny always has the buy one get one free. They jack up the price on the one you pay and you actually end up paying for both. It is not the department store it used to be.
