Carlos seems like a great guy, but after my recent conversation with him he stated that he is going out of business. sad to see these small businesses having to close due to the COVID.
Took my Traditions Tracker inline muzzleloader there to get bore sighted with no problems. The bore sighting worked and was only off by a few tics.
Carlos is an excellent, experienced gunsmith. He took a hunting rifle which had been accidentally packed wet and made the bluing look brand new again. His bore-sighting was 5 inches high at 50 yards. The next week my daughter used the gun to take her first whitetail. Carlos well equipped shop is in his home just off Ed Carey Drive.
Its now been 3 and a half months since I took my firearm to this place for a magazine release replacement. He still hasnt fixed it yet. Take your business somewhere else, because this guy isnt worth a damn.
Carlos has been working on my guns for many years -- His work has been impeccable
Never good service. . . Nuff said .
Work takes a long time to be fixed, and Im not happy with the quality of work. Had 2 muzzle devices put on rifles, 1 came loose the other is crooked. Had a gas block pinned and gas port ended up misaligned. After 9 months had to take it back and have to wait again to be done right. Old parts always seem to get lost and some stuff gets lost off my guns.
Husbands been here a few times with his gun and never had any issues
