I’ve been trying to get in contact with Dave for days about my car that I was in a accident with on September 22nd I brought in the car on September 24th. My car is supposed to be done by tomorrow, November 3rd, and I’ve been calling Dave and leaving messages and I haven’t got a call back not once. I reside in New York and it’s a almost 4 hour drive to get to the shop and I would just like to know everything will be ready by tomorrow before I drive all that way for nothing especially considering I’m in a rental
This body shop is packed. The staff is very courteous, however the business is not customer friendly. You need to make an appointment prior to taking vehicle in for an estimate. I called Monday and got an appointment for Friday (first available). The parking is a NIGHTMARE. They have more cars than parking spaces and even with an appointment I was unable to park next to the office. A friendly estimator did greet me 20 minutes after my appointment time and had me on my way 10 minutes later.

I was in a small accident in my VW Tiguan, and wasn’t sure where to get it fixed. I’m glad I chose Faulkner Body Shop, because since day 1 I was met with the upmost professionalism and care. I’m thankful to John for his quality work in bringing my vehicle back to new. He ensured that the suspension was properly tested and balanced and that the replacement door and body panels were properly fitted. My Tiguan is better than new and it’s thanks to John going above and beyond in providing quality service.

Faulkner body works painted my vehicle and it came out amazing! I would trust them with any body work my vehicles would need.
My neighbor backed into the side of my brand new Subaru, crushing the passenger side door and a few other parts. While I was there I pointed out a dent someone hit on my car with their door (the first week of owning my car) and they told me it was on the house because they have to fix that side anyways. We then walked around the car to see if there’s any other dents that need out which there was one on the hood. Of course I’d have to pay for that one which wasn’t a big deal at all. They said it’d be ready by a specific day and it was done on that day (only took a week). But unfortunately it was 4pm and I wasn’t in the area anymore. They told me they’d take care of the rental car I had for that extra day since it was so late in the day when it was finished. Which they did, my insurance wouldn’t even cover that extra day, but Faulkner Body Works did. They didn’t have to do that for me, but they did.When I picked up my car it looked as good as the day I bought her. When I got inside the car it smelled like the day I bought her. They deep cleaned and detailed the inside of my car when I never asked nor expected them to do so.They went above and beyond for me. I’ve gone to a lot of different shops and never have I ever been so happy with the outcome of my vehicle and the professionalism they showed me. A week or so later they called to make sure I was happy with their work, which again I’ve never had anyone do before. Just going so far above my expectations.If you’re unfortunate enough to have issues with your car, I HIGHLY recommend them. I don’t think I’ll ever go to any other shop again.I appreciate all the hard work and the dedication you all put into making sure your customers are happy. So thank you so so much.

Our son attends School in Harrisburg and was involved in an accident on campus. I’ve been in the Automotive repair business for 40 years so I know what I’m looking at, and was very concerned having to deal with this via long distance. I must say I was pleasantly impressed by the craftsmanship at Faulkner’s Body Works, especially when the damage exceeded eleven thousand dollars. They also delivered the vehicle when finished. After 2 trips there to fix rain leaking in severely, I have to bring it back again for the same issue. Both times previously I was told this issue was fixed. Then it rained... Nope, not fixed. Same as before. I am losing work pay and having to pay for transportation there and back out of pocket. Called the tech working on my car and he never called back. So aggravated, disappointed and fed up. I have a trip in 3 weeks and am worried something will happen with my car out of state.
I had Faulkner Body Works repair the sideview mirror on my STI that clipped a traffic pylon. I have the impact alert option that flashes on my side view mirror to warn of potential crashes. It never work after I picked it up and was told it may need calibrated at the regular dealer. Well I had to pay $50 to the dealer to hook up wires the body shop should have hooked up. Very poor quality of service. Im sure I can kiss my 50 bucks goodbye too.....
First accident my car was in so I had no clue how this whole claims process and getting my car fixed worked.... they explained everything to me in detail and answered all my questions. Steve is a great guy! He kept me in the loop about everything that was going on, I got a detailed description of everything that needed replaced and it has a lifetime warranty. Highly recommended!

While on a visit to Pennsylvania, my Honda Odyssey suffered what turned out to be extensive damage from tumbling road debris, just outside of Harrisburg. I had it towed to the nearest Honda dealer which was, fortunately, Faulkner. Steve Shearer of Faulkner Body Works, who handled my insurance claim, was the best. He kept me informed every step of the way and took the time to make sure I understood every aspect of the repair process. I felt secure knowing that it was his goal that everything be done right the first time and that I could drive off with confidence that my van was as good as (or better than) before the accident.
Outstanding service! They called and gave me a play by play of my service. My car was only 2 days old and everyone shared in my feelings that it needed body work much too soon. The receptionists were helpful in taking my payment over the phone and getting my car cleaned up so I could pick it up after hours. Definitely an enjoyable experience!

I had a great experience with Faulkner body works. My car was rear-ended and needed quite extensive work to repair the demolished back end of my Subaru. They took in the vehicle quickly, assessed the damages, called and provided me updates, and got my vehicle back to me in a timely manner that was even sooner than I was anticipating. I thoroughly enjoyed the friendly receptionist and Steve for easing the stress of a rough ordeal. My car looks like new again and is driving just like it did when I drove it off the lot last year.

I contacted Faulkner Body Works September 19 to schedule an estimate for front end repair to my 2017 Outback; they were able to fit me in that very day at 3! Steve Shearer gave me the estimate and even showed me examples of whats behind the front end of vehicles; he told me it would take approximately 9+ business days to repair.What an absolutely awesome surprise when they called me October 3 to tell me my Outback was finished! I picked it up the next day; Steve Shearer went over all the details, again reviewed whats behind the front bumper and grill, and reminded me their work was guaranteed for as long as I owned the car.The vehicle looks great! I have pearl white paint and so far I cannot tell where the new and old paint ends. Plus Im pretty sure they cleaned the inside of my vehicle! It looks great!I would definitely recommend having your vehicle repaired by Faulkner Body Works.
Update: I waited over 140 days for my car but luckily Faulkner was one that redeemed themselves. After my point of contact was no longer with the company, the shop manager worked directly with me to provide me a rental free of charge and keep me updated on my car. We finally got it back and luckily have had 0 issues.If GEICO sends you here and you have a GM car, dont go here. The three businesses combined just exude stress and anger and you will wait for your car for 83+ days....and counting.
A tree fell on my car and needed SERIOUS repair. I was completely devastated fearing that my car would be totaled (the roof needed cut off as well as a lot of other repairs and a new paint job). Steve helped me through the entire process, kept me updated and answered every question I had. If he was not available he returned my calls quickly and helped me EVERY step of the way. My car was finished 11 days earlier than its projected date. I am so pleased with the customer service I received, on top of how quickly and efficiently they repaired my car. 10/10 would recommend and would go back if I ever need repairs again. Highly satisfied with the overall process!
I really did a number on my car by running over something on the highway. I have taken other cars to Faulkner for body work, in the past, and have always been pleased. Ive had these guys work on my SRT a few times and I have to say I was very happy with the results. Steve was great. Knowledgeable. He kept me in the loop about my vehicle. I recommend this shop to anyone that loves their automobile as much as I love mine.

I went in for an estimate last Thursday 7/23/2020. Ive called 3 times left 2 voicemails and still havent gotten any word on price, well I havent talked to anyone who could even remotely help me.
Never could I expect such excellent service... breezed into the Body Work office, distraught due to a ‘back up’ accident and Steve Shearer was there to put the pieces back together again! The part was ordered and replaced within 24 hours. While it might be the nature of the repair that facilitated the quick turnaround, the knowledgeable and accommodating service I received ... well, never could I expect such excellent service!
My damaged vehicle come out of here looking like new. For this reason, I lay five stars on these guys for fantastic work.
I believe Faulkner Bodyworks did an exceptional job with my vehicle. Although there were minor issues found; they took it back to the shop to fix the issue at hand until it was 100% to my satisfaction. Steve was an absolute pleasure to work with. I used Faulkner because they are a recommended Erie Insurance repair shop. They were very fast to get my car quoted out and they interacted directly with Erie to get it approved. The office staff was very friendly and the work was done in exactly the time they said it would take. I am very pleased with the end result.
Was informed by another body shop that these guys seen, reported but, never replaced a damaged part when repairing my truck after a accident. That was a let down.
They dont have loaner cars, even though I bought the car from them. I will never buy another car from them.

I was estimated one time frame and another came to reality. I was requested to even wait a week before our scheduled appointment. I strongly assume the scheduled time was meant to give Faulkner the opportunity to order parts. Well a weeks job turned into three weeks. Although I will give them respect to the fact that this repair was done during the holidays, which I could have been for the delay. Nevertheless this too is considered planning. The ending results looks great. Its the time factor.
This the third time that my family has used Faulkner Body Shop and each time that have not had the car done when promised. At least 1-2 weeks longer to fix the cars because they are short staffed. That is not my problem - a business should stick to their promise of delivery. Use overtime if you have to. Horrible service. I have to call them to get updates. Will never use this body shop again. In fact I will probably never buy another car from Faulkner dealerships again based on this lack of service and not holding to promises. I had bought 5 cars from Faulkner Nissan in the past five years. Never again.

With less than 700 miles on my new 2019 BMW I hit a deer. Damage was done to the hood, headlight, and front bumper. I was so disheartened, mostly because I’ve never known anyone that had auto body repairs done where the color actually matched the rest of the vehicle. There was always a noticeable difference. Plus, with this vehicle having been recently shipped from Europe, I didn’t have a good feeling... not just about the paint, but getting the replacement parts as well. I dreaded the day I was to pick it up... that my future with this car was going to be one where I constantly let my eyes wander to what I fully expected to be noticeable repairs, especially the difference in paint color... that every time I looked at my car I would be reminded of that unpleasant night of the accident. Imagine my surprise, relief, excitement when I picked up my vehicle and couldn’t find any noticeable repair work. Perfect color match. I couldn’t believe it. I’ve seen commercials on tv where a guy hugged his mechanic when he got his repaired vehicle (his baby) back... and I thought it was funny how emotional he got. Well, I now know that feeling. Wow! What a great job done by Faulkner, led by Body Shop Specialist Steven Shearer. I couldn’t be more pleased with the expert work done by him and his staff. I got my baby back! I certainly hope I don’t need their services in the future, but if it were to happen I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to have the work done at Faulkner. Quality work all around.Thank you so much Steve!!
Had an estimate done after a minor accident. The estimator did not open my hood to find out that the hood latch did not work. I called and he said it was not from the accident but it worked fine before the accident. The ladies answering the phones were very professional.
Terrible customer service and communication at all levels. Prepare for your car to be at the shop for an extended amount of time, with little to no communication or follow-up. Leave a message with their office, and be patient. They may call you back in a week. Maybe longer...
I am having the worst experience ever with Faulkner Body Works. I dropped my call off on Oct. 3rd for them to replace my rear drive door, fix the rear driver window because the automatic features was not working, an alignment, and paint. I received a call on Oct. 12th stating my car will now start. They made me pay for a new battery and my battery was fine before dropping it off. I picked up my car on Oct. 13th. None of my windows automatic feature was not working, my car still was drifting to the right, the screen in my car no longer worked properly, the light above my rear view didnt work and I had to press my key fob 7-8 times before I could unlock my car door. I immediately took my car back for them to fix. The man was able to program 3 of my windows but the rear driver side window that was supposed to be fixed was not able to be programmed so therefor they did not fix my window that was supposed to fix. He told me I had to call my claims rep on Monday for all the other problems. I called my rep and brought my car back in to be fixed. I dont have my car back yet but none of the mangers are addressing my car was giving back to me with issues that was supposed to be fixed according to my estimate. (Alignment and car window) Also my car was given back to me with additional problems. Its all DEFEND, DEFEND, DEFEND and PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT the company and the workers. News flash everyone make mistakes. Its how you correct your mistakes those mistakes that matters to the customers. After I receive my car back I will no longer deal with Faulkner Body Works EVER again. Im so mad and nervous that they still have my car.
I brought my car in from a deer collision. My car came back with a 4 inch crack in the cover under the bumper. What else did they miss ??I brought it to their attention, they offered to fix it but never apologized.Front desk Helen and Heidi were nice.Avoid.

I got my door replaced two months ago and when i put my window down it was off the track and wouldn’t go up correctly. I brought it in on a Saturday when they don’t have any technitions (i didn’t know this) and the guy was able to get a hold of someone to fix it for me within a half an hour of bringing it in. Faulkner stands by their work and i really appreciate them going above and beyond. A lot of the 1 stars on here seem to be because they “don’t give you updates on your car”. If your worried, you can call in. It’s a car machenic shop, not your child’s day care.
Given an estimate of 4 days of work. It has been nearly 11 days now. I was just informed that my car will not be ready for nearly another week. Absolutely not okay.

On May 6th, 2019 while on my lunch break from work, I unintentionally drove over fresh paint on the road. There was bright yellow paint caked to the entire driver side of my 2018 Honda HRV. Needless to say I was EXTREMELY upset. I immediately contacted my insurance company and asked them what I should do. Since I have full comp coverage, the agent advised me the repairs and replacement parts would be covered. On May 20th, I brought my vehicle to the dealership where I purchased it to have the estimate and the repairs done, Faulkner Collision on Paxton Street in Harrisburg, PA. Everyone at the collision center was so nice and helped walk me through the claims process and even advised me what to do as far as obtaining a rental car, something I have never had to do before so I was a bit ignorant as to what to do next. I have never had a situation like this happen so this was all new to me.Steve Shearer was awesome throughout the entire process. He kept me up to date on a daily basis as to what he was able to do as far as repairs and explained the claims process to me in a way that I was able to understand. I was expecting to have a rental for 3 -4 days but Steve was able to get my car completely done in 2 days! When I went to Faulkner to pick up my car I was stunned at the work that was done. There wasnt a speck of god-awful yellow paint anywhere! My car looked brand new again! I was beyond happy with the work they had done in such a short period of time! Worst place I ever was forced to interact with. Communication is non existent, they broke my windshield while trying to fix a different issue with my car and then had enough nerve to say they’d bill my insurance for their negligence. Seriously... NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE
Faulkner Honda will provide loaner cars. I did not know this as I am not from the area. As part of the process to get the car they require 3 copies of your drivers license. I did not understand why they needed 3 copies. One makes sense. So I questioned why they needed 3 copies and was informed the make 3 copies and keep them for one year. Now I found that outrageous. Again I wanted to know why?. What I have learned about Central Pennsylvania is one is not supposed to raise questions. I wasnt really buying the response: This is what we do. I want to know why you need to keep my license on file for a year! Enterprise Car Rental gave me a great answer: We keep your license for 30 days just to be certain they can identify the driver of a vechicle should a camera snapped ticket come in. But Faulkner did not have a logical and reasonable response. They just kept avoding answering my question with evasive responses. But what happened next is what was shocking to me. Because I could not get a logical explanation I was told to leaave the service department, they did not want my business and would not repair my car! So gather your belongings and exit the premises. Whoa! I did as they asked and left. I spoke to the owner who told me he would check out the situation and get back to me. A year plus later, I have heard nothing. In Central PA people go along to get along and are often timid in their interactions with people in authority. That is not the culture I come from and I am unable to conform The only positive statement I can make about Faulkner Honda is their service prices are cheaper than Cioccoa Honda.The statement that there are three parts to PA that I heard before I relocated here was There are three parts to PA: Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and the rest of the state is Mississippi. OMG that is so true!I beleive they are good as long as you dont ask questions about how your personal informaton is going to be managed.

I should have read the reviews before I took my car here. It’s been over 2 weeks since my car was taken to the shop. I was lied to about when it should have been ready to get picked up, but everytime I called to see if it was ready to be picked up, I would be given another date and when I followed up on the date given, they would delay the date to a later date; stating that they found other issues blah blah blah. This is ridiculous! I will never recommend this place.
Never, ever, ever take your car here unless you dont want it back for multiple months with no phone calls or updates. Worse body shop experience I have ever had. Customer service is horrible, staff is rude, and you will not get your car back in the time they estimated. I had a small fender bender where my trunk was dented. Estimated three weeks due to low staffing - havent had my car in about two months, and zero follow up from staff. Dont walk, RUNNN to a different body shop. Personally I recommend sutliff (where I shouldve went)
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. INCOMPETENCE best describes this body shop. Took my car here for the estimate, as recommended by insurance company. Set up an appointment to have the car repaired. Took my car on day of appointment and Faulker Body Works and Russ - the Nationwide rep - had canceled my appointment. They stated the insurace company closed the claim. I immediately called the insurance company and they had not closed the claim. They explained that Russ and Faulkner Body Works are incompetent and cannot seem to understand how to correctly process claims. AVOID THIS SHOP UNLESS YOU WANT A RUN AROUND. YOUR TIME IS TOO VALUABLE TO WASTE WITH THESE CLOWNS.

This is the absolute worst body shop ever. If I could give negative stars I would. Every single gap on the car is wrong but hey the representative I talked to said it looks good to him. There is a 1/4 inch lip that the hood sticks up and roughly 3/8 inch gap around the trunk lid. The car has a giant scratch down the drivers side that wasnt there previously and the interior roof liner is nothing but grease from somebodys careless hands. This place is absolutely terrible. I wish I read reviews before accepting where the insurance company recommended. Learn from my mistake. Go ANYWHERE but here. They are supposed to take care of their mistakes and if they do I will update my review but from what I have seen so far I dont have a lot of faith in their work period.

My car got hit on my drivers side but didnt have too much damage. I got my car estimated previously for the damage at another body shop and they said it would take 3 days. The insurance wanted me to go through Faulkner and Faulkner said they would take 11 days. They pushed it back even further to 13 days. When I got my car back yesterday, there is paint all inside my car, dirt on the ground, a dent on the inside of my door that was never there, scratches and chipped paint on both the outside handles on my drivers side which were never there, and the door frame still has the dents, they just painted over them. Now I wasted over two weeks for a horrible job and have to get their mistakes fixed somewhere else. DO NOT GO HERE.
