Not much to say here. I mean friendly staff (maybe too laid back and slow) but were helpful for our shopping experience. I decided to check the bathroom and it was at least cleaned frequently. Its located at the back wall when you enter. Its not all the way to the left but pretty much there. They had a decent selection of products and materials. Nothing out of the ordinary. The station where they cut your fabric had very helpful and polite staff. I offered to put my choices back on the shelves but she insisted that its alright she would have the opportunity to walk around instead of standing behind a counter. I must say, feeling you get top service without the fake way of doing it was a pleasant surprise. Since Im not a local home team sports fan I was extremely happy this store has my team. Overall it was a nice experience. From parking in a HUGE lot outside to a clear traffic way into the building. With the staff being a good part of the business here Id normally say any big business like this is just average but they were actually so nice, and the interaction with the customers was awesome. Im giving them a four star.

This place is fantastic if youre into arts and crafts. They have a huge selection of fabrics, yarns, beads, etc. They even offer little workshops that you can join through their website or app. Another great thing they offer is coupons, I mean who doesnt like to save a few bucks. The only downside I seen which was what I was looking for is silk flowers. Their selection is very limited and for a craft store I expected way more than what was on the floor. They do however offer a lot more online and on the app but I still like shopping in store as well. Employees were there to ask if we needed help and were friendly. So I would definitely recommend this store for any level crafter!!

Great selection or hobby and craft items, if a little pricey with the yarn. Their email club offers regular coupons by text to keep my wifes crocheting hobby priced reasonably.

This store was clean and orderly. The selection was great. Staff were friendly and asked if I needed help.

With working at home I decided to complete some projects at home. Beginning with painting my kitchen, dining room amongst other projects.It has been long overdue. I decided to cover my dining room chairs and took time to visit Joannes fabric. On entering the store everything was very tidy clean and in its place.While trying to find the right fabric the sales assistant approached me and assisted with answering all my questions regarding the best fabric to use along with their online assistants.I finally decided on my fabric and headed to where I could have my fabric cut to the amount I needed. The second assistant was also very knowledgeable with great advise was very polite and patient as she listened to what I had planned to do with the fabric I was about to purchase..great service.Check out was a breeze as the first assistant that had originally helped me checked me out and was very diligent in making sure I had great discounts to use from my app on line.Joannes fabric on jonestown road is the place to go if you need great customer service with attentive warm and polite staff..Great deals..a great store . 10 out of 10 for great customer service..Very happy! After I have covered my chairs I shall complete an update of the product with pics..stay tuned!

Love the store itself. However they have 2-3 rude employees. Mostly at check out such attitudes about finding and using coupons. They dont help you. Like scannings coupon is such a prob. Saved $15!! If its so terrible figure another way for the deduction. I shouldnt feel anxiety when waiting to check out!!!

I have been looking absolutely everywhere for a cricut explore air 2. When I first arrived not many employees wanted to help me out. I ended up receiving help from a very kind lady named Sharon! She found the machine and got me checked out within minutes! She was AMAZING!!

The Good:They had black marine vinyl which is hard to find.The store is new, clean, well lit and comfortably laid out.Most employees are friendly and awesome.The Bad:The lady on the phone was extremely inconvenienced when I didnt have an item number and she actually had to do her job and check to see if they had the item.I didnt even mention that I was coming from 40 miles away but did I need to?Possibly the same lady was upset that I am handicapped and wasnt able to bring the heavy roll of vinyl to the cutting desk.I dont always appear handicapped, I had a spinal fusion decades ago which limits my lifting and sometimes my walking ability.The Good (again):However, 2 other employees ran to help me after she paged for help.

Oh my this place was amazing during Christmas. I found exactly what I was looking for. I never knew that the store had so many things. I found unique things different from other stores dont carry. I will go back. I need to buy something I have been wanting.Its clean the staff are very helpful.I loved it. Caution you will spend over an hour to see every aisle.

Cashier was argumentative and definitely not customer friendly. She also charged $20 more on an item that she had already told us was on sale and couldnt use my coupon which I pointed out was also for sale items.

First time here & I will NEVER take my business there again. Super rude. I asked to have an online fabric order cut and she was nothing but rude to me and miserable the entire time. I never leave reviews but this review is much needed. Other have made the same comments when I told them about my experience.

Not a good experience they send me a promo code and at the checkout doesnt accept it, stopped by in the store and find the item cheaper than the website and it was in discount, so I grabbed the item and they wanted to charge me more than the price listed. Not a good experience

I really dont know much about fabric stores, so take this review with a grain of salt! But the store was neat and clean. The materials were well organized and easy to find. My wife found what she wanted relatively quickly, and the staff was cheerful, helpful, and competent.It would be nice to have a place for us uncrafty people sit, read, and guzzle coffee while our SOs shopped, but that is a somewhat unrealistic expectation 😄

I really like visiting this store and I enjoy shopping here except for one time. One lady at the register was not nice... I can sense that she gets annoyed by re-scanning items when I asked questions about coupons... I understand its annoying to do that... but I dont think its good to show that frustration to customers. I didnt say anything mean to her or something... I just wanted to buy stuff for a good deal... Im disappointed.

The store carries just about all the supplies you need for any fabric related or decorative project. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to help. There are even classes for beginners, which is a very thoughtful, customer friendly accomodation.

I went to the JoAnn Store in Harrisburg yesterday.I walked in & went straight to the counter and told both of the ladies I was bringing yarn in to match it. The older lady said ok. The younger lady said nothing. But she was looking right at me.I get what I need & go up to the checkout. I handed the girl the tulle & had the yarn right in front of me.The girl said what about the yarn? I said it’s mine. I brought it in. She said “YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT!” I said “I DID! I BROUGHT IT IN THE STORE WITH ME TO MATCH IT! I walked up to the counter on my way in & showed both of you I was bringing it in!” She starts to say “Well you do know that’s stealing? You have to.....”Finally the other lady speaks up & says “Yes, she brought that in.”The girl waiting on me was so mad. She didn’t even tell me what the amount was. She wouldn’t take off my coupons even!I really don’t think I’ll EVER return!

Nice selection of arts and crafts materials, yarn, floral items, and excellent choice of fabrics. The regular prices are high, but I guess thats the trade-off for so many fabrics in one place - sale prices are a little better. Sign up for their emails, they send coupons. I removed a star because of the cashier, who should be sent to a customer service boot camp - other employees were pleasant and helpful.

Great yarn and crafts visit for a lot of fun at this place mostly for yarn - bot bot happy that I signed up for classes 3 different times and they cancel at the very last moment. i got refund but still.... not happy at 3 times in row and cancel at the last minute.

Unexpected amount of craft supplies on top of fabrics and yarn! I do a lot of decorating, in baking and can count on this store carrying anything I run out of. Prices run a little high- much higher than AC Moore but I generally manage to ignore this when in the area. Its a very nice store, great products and always has a friendly staff.In all the years Ive been going to Jo-Ann fabric, have yet to run into a staff member who isnt helpful, friendly and happy to converse. Its extremely important to me, anyway, that a store feels good and this one does.

I hadnt been to a JOANN Fabrics in many years, and I was inspired when I saw what the store had to offer. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing encounter with the management and question the stores commitment to customer service. Sadly, I will not be returning.
