The actual appointment went smoothly and the work was completed in a timely manner. My one issue was getting the appointment scheduled. I used the online chat feature first to schedule the inspection and oil change. The person took many details, told me the service department would call me that day to tell me what date they had available and 10 days later, I still had not heard from the service dept. I had to try again to contact the service dept., this 2nd time by phone and was able to get a scheduled appointment finally.

For my first visit, I was not impressed with the free service offered. I was told they were doing a free oil change (which they did) and tire rotation. Based on the tire pressure gage on the dash, the tires were not rotated AND the tire pressure was not adjusted. I have one tire on the drivers side rear that showed 30 pounds when I drove in and 30 pounds when I drove out. The other three all had 32 pounds. You can also verify this information on My GMC updates that I receive in email.

Bought a brand new truck here and it was covered in glue from the protective plastic. Its a white truck and it the whole truck was covered with orange dots that they said was rail car dust and it is nearly impossible to get off. I called them and they pretty much didnt want to be bothered with it and told me to take it to a dealership for warranty.

They charged me for a emissions when my car was mileage excemption. I only drive 3500 miles all year. They never rotated my tires like I asked. I know this from looking at the tires.I am upset about the emissions fee they charged me for something that should of been excempt

Took my key fob in to get help programming it. They wanted over $60 to do this. All I wanted was help. I even bought a new car from them several years ago. Ill think twice before going there. Highly recommend for sales - I give John Knode a rating of 10. But the customer service team in the service department gets a 0. The one representative Ive been dealing with is condescending, uncooperative, not concerned with customer POV, shows ZERO empathy, proactivity or initiative; likes to focus on the negative (what CANT be done, what shes NOT able to do, what Im NOT going to get/have). Seems she thinks shes in a competition to be right, and is in a rush to send me on my way. She wants ME to relate to the way HER world works, rather than the opposite. Snide comments, side glances to her co-worker, staring into her computer screen. No matter how competent the technical service is, the human experience/interaction with the service team is the touchpoint a customer will remember. Ill probably come back to John Knode, but not sure if I would use Faulkner Service again.

Absolutely disgusting experience with the service department. My Buick Regal developed a CV axle issue last week and it was scheduled to be repaired today Thursday June 10th. After having the car the entire day I walked over at 4:00 to find out that the car was not even looked at. The excuse that I was given was that there were no garage bays available, like Im supposed to believe the cars sitting in the garage bays at 4:00 p.m. are the exact same ones sitting in the garage bay when I dropped it off at 8:00 this morning. This from a customer point of view is completely unacceptable. Ive owned a lot of various makes of cars, and this by far is the worst service experience I have had at any dealership.

Even though the car was still under warranty! I was not immediately offered a loaner vehicle when I brought my vehicle in for repairs! Was told that all the loaner cars were taken! Had to press the service person to look into my warranty about a loaner car! Should have never been told You dont have a vehicle to get back home! We have the warranty for a reason! Should not have to beg for something that is covered in the warranty!

I came and looked at a car that wasnt specifically what I wanted, Vince took the time to find me the make and model that had even more features for a great price. I have a 2011 Chevy Equinox and I just couldnt seem to find any mechanic that could figure out what was wrong with my SUV! I decided to take it to the dealership. I first met a mechanic there named Kevin that told me he had figured it out but he ended up being wrong like the other 2 mechanics. After feeling like I just gave away over $1500 for nothing between the 3 mechanics, I was furious so I asked to speak to a manager. Rose ( service manager)assured me that they will fix my SUV correctly before giving it back to me. She also let me use a loaner SUV. One month later my SUV is running like new. Rose is amazing!!

Had an appointment at 9:00 am and my car wasn’t ready till 1pm. No one called me to let me know when it would be ready. I picked up my car and it wasn’t even washed. Honestly I’m very disappointed with Gmc. I expected better service. I’m still waiting to have my car detailed since it never got detailed when I first bought it last year. I have tried to have it done, but was told you didn’t have enough workers. If I didn’t have a lease with Gmc I wouldn’t be back. Honestly I’m thinking not renewing my contract once it’s over.

The tide has.changed at this dealership. I was in the market for a new vehicle and was treated very poorly. Beware, If you are going to give them a deposit on a vehicle, dont expect to get it back if you decide against getting the vehicle.. They took my deposit and have held it hostage for over a month and all I get is attitude when trying to resolve the issue. Buyer Beware!!

Mechanic claimed i needed rotors, breaks, wipers and battery and failed inspection . Took to another mechanic brakes were 5/16 which are fine, rotors were fine, battery was fine and wipers passed test also, which they were only 6 weeks old to start. Tried to take advantage because im a woman most likely but i am not illiterate to vechicles.

He listened to my need and wants and then picked out a Buick Envision for me to test drive. He was spot on, I loved the vehicle and purchased it the same day. Sales guy was nice but the internal communication is bad, really bad. Went to buy a truck and one was found. Said I would be contacted the next day for the deposit. Never was contacted. Filled out the online application and received 3 phone calls from different people, advised all of them the situation.Never heard anything, 2 days later. Messaged the sales guy and gave him a dead line of I need to know if you found me a truck. It appears they know they could not get a truck and just would not say or follow up with it.A day later received a message from the dealership advising they did not hear back from us. Hold on a second, we been waiting to hear back from someone.Needless to say I went on the GMC website, found the only truck like it around in NJ and called, placed a deposit and picking it up Monday. The process with the other dealership was flawless. Very responsive sales guy and their management is on spot. They already messaged this morning (Friday) and said its all ready to go and will be awaiting our arrival.Like any company. Communication is a key role. Its ok if they could not find a truck but just communicate that and not string me along. Communication, this was the biggest fault of this entire process with Faulkner GMC Hbg. Cant speak for service or after the sale, never had the chance.

My engine was replaced in my 2015 Buick Encore, which was thankfully covered by the warranty. The length of time that it took to complete the task was over a month and I didn’t receive very much communication at all. I was kept in the dark regarding my vehicle. Most communication that occurred was because I made the calls and/or emails. Then when picking up my vehicle, I felt ignored and disregarded like I had even nothing more than annoyance. I received 2 pieces of paper when I had asked for details regarding the new engine and repairs. I also never got any paper work about the new warranty on the new engine. This whole situation has caused me to not trust the dealership or even my own vehicle.

Bought a car here 2 1/2 years ago. The staff was of course friendly because they are trying to make a sale. I would advise everyone to stay far away from this dealership! My car was in their shop more then it was with me. Nothing but issues with transmission and many other things. I saw another review where they had the car over a month with hardly any communication which also happen to me and then when they finally called they told me I had 24 hours to return the rental and get my car or I would be charged for the rental (this was after they had my car for 2 months and never called to tell me what was going on!). I can’t stress enough all the problems I’ve had with the vehicle I bought from this dealership and I’d hate to see someone else go through the same thing.

I had an excellent experience. My lease was to expire in less than a month (September) and was fast approaching the mileage limit. I had been torn between the Encore GX and the Subaru Forester. We have recently purchased two cars from Vince at Faulkner GMC. His service is impeccable. After the sale he spent a half hour going over all the features of our new car with us, including linking our devices to the car and setting up our preferred settings for seat and mirror positions which our car remembers under driver 1 and 2 and will now switch to them at a touch of the button.My sons car purchase was more complicated because we were wavering between new and used and Vince listened carefully and gave us the best options of both. In the end, we purchased a car with only 4k miles on it and saving 10k off new. The car had minor scratches on it and the body shop was not able to get it in before my boy had to head back to work in Philly, so Vince arranged a loaner car for a week, which was when Kyle could come back to make the swap.Everything Vince promised, he delivered, and then some.By far the best car buying experience i have had and Im 57 years old and have bought a lot of cars.

I first tried working with a sales rep to find me the vehicle I wanted. Rather than telling me that they could not find the vehicle, the sales rep just wouldnt answer or return my calls. I then had to physically drive to the dealership to get the sales rep to return my $500 deposit.Aside from this experience, I had a tonneau cover installed on my truck at the dealership. The service technicians left a bunch of plastic and trash in the bed of the truck. Also when driving home, I heard the cover making some noise. Turns out that one of the pieces wasnt fully assembled, or was coming apart. I was able to snap it back together myself, but this should have been taken care of during installation.
